Meal was excellent for breakfast and dinner. We were impressed by variety of dishes and types of the food. Special thanks for sea food and national dishes.

I would revise wines for dinner a bit.

Nice resort at Yalong bay. Rooms are well equipped and beach / pool area is very nice. We enjoyed the beach restaurant a lot. It‘s the only hotel with lot’s of sun beds at the beach. Gym area is a bit old fashioned but has everything you need.

Not a true 5* experience. Breakfast restaurant is pretty old fashioned, coffee comes in plastic cups, service a bit slow. In addition we waited until 18:30 until we got our room keys.

Great hotel to just stay there and hang out at the pool. Great breakfast and hot pot dinner buffet. Good, clean rooms with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Super, super expensive but that was because of the high season. Still our choice to go there, as we knew in advance. Nothing to do or see outside the hotel if you don't speak and read Chinese. It may be due to the closed Chinese borders but not really catering to foreign tourists. Again, that's alright, as we are guests in the country and chose to go there. Beach was a bit dirty with loads of plastic garbage brought in by the sea. They tried their best to keep it clean but couldn't cope with the amount...

The service was awesome. They helped me to celebrate my husband birthday. They explained everything. They tried to support me even when we could not speak the same language.

Other guests used the pool as a shower for a kid. Also, some of them smoked in public areas.

The location is top-notch!

Some dining preferences (allergies) had to be repeated several times even though I speak the language, although staff were keen to get it right in the end

This is my second stay here and I’m quite satisfied. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay where your main activity is relaxing and/or swim, then this is the place for you. The beach is amazing.

Maybe the hotel shouldn’t allow the water sports to be that close to the swimming area. The noise pollution at the beach and the gasoline you breath when you swim is not nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for four nights, and didn't leave the resort. We were definitely beach bums, going from the room, to the buffet breakfast, to laying on the beach. We didn't feel a need to go anywhere else, we were quite happy parked at the hotel and the beach.

I messaged the property ahead to check that there were vegan options on the menu, and I was assured there were and I could just "order what I want." Upon entering the restaurants we learned there are almost NO options on the menu. The servers and chef went out of their way to create vegan options for me to eat, which I was really appreciative of. I wish the hotel would make it easier for everyone by offering vegan options or substitutions, so the staff didn't have to go to such great lengths to accommodate vegans and vegetarians.

Excellent location. Good value for money, staff friendly.

Air conditioning in room.could have been better room never got below 24. Hotel were advertising the euros in lobby bar, yet when we went there to watch the England vs german game the bar was closing and TV was turned off. Luckily fellow English fans came prepared with laptops to plug into TV. Fish bar staff very friendly and helpful but clearly over run, took a long time to get cocktails during happy hour.
