Absolutely loved this huge, well-vented and well-designed apartment, we had everything that we needed here and a great view to boot. The best parts were the weighted blanket and the black-out curtains - we slept very well. The staff was super nice and effective - the cleaning lady was *very* thorough. One of my favorite places to stay!

Although we paid and checked as a couple, the restaurant staff and the front desk lady insisted we have the right to take - only one breakfast !? Two passports copied, two keys, two pairs of slippers and two toothbrushes provided, BUT ONLY ONE BREAKFAST. We entertained a sitting protest right in front of the reception. After 15 minutes a supervisor came and decided he will give us "one breakfast free". The last day we asked for two breakfast packages due to very early departure. The answer of the front desk: 'The restaurant is not open so early." (5am). We insisted again and, no surprise, we got our breakfasts kits just before leaving the hotel (4:30 am). Conclusion: you will get everything you need if you try hard enough.

Our apartment was very clean and spacious. We were able to do laundry in our apartment as there was a washing machine (including dryer and laundry detergent) in the room. The Japanese toilet was a nice bonus. It's a 7 - 10 minutes walk to metro station People's Square (exit 7) and to Nanjing Dong Road. There is a Family Mart around the corner. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is the key. Hotel is sitting on a green line #2, which connects Hongqiao and Pudong airports. Also it's our line to go to see our daughter who is studying in Pudong, and our son is in Puxi. Also, kids can stay with us on weekends. Just need one more room sometimes.

The breakfast could be better, choice isn't much, but there are plenty of it just around the corner, so it's really isn't a big deal. We like to have a porridge from the McDonalds or have some sandwiches from Starbucks.

Location is very ideal and the rooms are bigger than usual so enough to accommodate 5 of us in 2 rooms. The service staffs attitude is not bad and cleaning aunty cleans pretty well. Everyday fresh towels including hand cloths and floor mat is changed without asking.

Sofa bed seems a bit hard so maybe can look into it to make it softer. Water heater is using via a tank so hot water is limited for bathtub usage. There was a lack of water during one of our days that we stayed in the hotel so was disruptive. Post that the water is very dirty with white sediments.

Excellent choice in the heart of the city. Location is superb (walk down Nanjing Shopping St, walk to the Bund etc). Staff friendly and competent (we only interacted on checking in and out, both times they spoke English and everything was seamless). It was much larger than I expected, very quiet on our floor (10th). We were there for five days, studio unit. It was kept very clean with daily housekeeping, bed was comfy, bathroom spotless, room had everything needed. Didn’t get to try breakfast as we were jet-lagged and kept sleeping in. Would definitely stay again, an excellent value option. Used DiDi to get around city and they picked up from street in front of hotel easily. Nice little Family Mart on same block with essentials. Hotel has drop off spot in foyer for food delivery, and unit has basic kitchenette if you want to cook. Couple small malls on next block had great restaurants on ground floor for easy breakfast/lunch/dinner options.

The breakfast is delicious! The room is so big. The hotel's located near to Nanjing Road.. you can walk 5 mins to the People's Square metro station. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my return trip to Shanghai.

The place was clean quiet and convenient location to everything. Good, wholesome breakfast with a good variety of western and Asian foods. It also provided free self laundry and drying facilities which were very convenient and useful.

The staff spoke limited English. Although they tried to service the foreign customers, it was little frustrating at times. Also the cook in the "open" style breakfast restaurant who cooked omelets and noodles was careless and NOT hygienic - She would re-use the spatula and some foods that she had dropped off, and she was tasting the soup (for the noodle) using the cooking scoop. This was certainly unpleasant and worrying for all other standards back in the kitchen - they probably have very poor standards.

The location is perfect, very near to shopping , eateries and metro. Check in and out is so smooth. All the staff right from the doorman, the front desk , housekeeping and breakfast area staff are so pleasant, polite , friendly, efficient and professional. A big thank you to Ms Tracy (front desk) for all the help rendered. The cream of the cake is of course the pricing, so affordable yet get 5 star treatment. Since the metro is just around 300 m away coming n going to airport is so convenient without needing to hail a taxi which cost soooo much more. The metro to Pudong Airport cost me only 7 CNY whereas a taxi will be around 200+ CNY. Another plus point is that it's quiet so one can really get a good night's sleep. Will definitely recommend this place to all holidaying in Shanghai.

There was a slight odour near the toilet bowl area each time we flush. Would appreciate a mirror in the master bedroom.

Easy check in process at the reception. Great location and very comfy apartment. As we were staying for almost a week, we appreciated having living room and washing machine (they provide the washing detergent). There's a shop right in the building but it's pretty small (but still great to get the basics). We appreciated clean towels and fresh bottled water every day. It was a great choice for a longer stay and we would book this again!

I missed some soap and sponge for washing the dishes in the kitchen and I feel like it wasn't equipped enough for proper cooking. Be careful with the bath - it felt like the drain wasn't working properly so we opened it a bit more and almost flooded the bathroom as the water started coming from the drain in the floor as well (we learnt from this! :D). We paid when we checked in and when checking out, they said that was only deposit and we need to pay again. However, it was already taken from my bank account so I just asked them to grab that from the deposit but it definitely caught us off guard as we didn't expect to be asked to pay again.
