Location: 4 Subway lines in walking distance (2/8, 1, 4, 7) 2 of those reachable via elevator to hotel basement SEG Center is across the road Facilities: Fitness room (F36) Enjoy the treadmill views, they are great! Be aware, free weights are lacking. 2 high quality, full featured towers make up well. Washing machine on the terrace (F31). Everything required is there for free. Staff: Many speak fluent English. this is a rarity in Shenzhen. Super helpful and friendly. Special tanks to Johnathan the general Manager. WIFI: Hotel has a great internet connection for free. Still you will require VPN for "western" Services. This is a general limitation that applies to ALL Hotels in Shenzhen. There are no more exceptions from the "big firewall". Rooms: Clean, great pillows and matraces If you can grab a high floor do it, the views are great. King rooms do have better views than twin rooms.

Very good hotel and great value. The building is modern, the room was spacious, the bathroom was luxurious, except for the lights in the bathroom seemed a little dim. I had a room on the 30th floor and the view was spectacular, on the cityscape. Since hotel is located from the 23rd floor and up and the way the building is designed, I believe you should have a grand, unobstructed view on the city from any room. An improvised lunch (served till 4:30pm) was included with the stay and came very handy. It was described as an afternoon tea, but in included much, much more then that, with variety of snack, fruit and drink. I didn’t include breakfast with my stay but ended up having it every day at the hotel, it was that good. It was 88 yuan (about 12 USD), it may be less if you buy that when you book a room. Was impressed by the city of Shenzhen overall, and this hotel just added to the good experience. During the trip I visited the Ping A tower (tallest skyscraper in Shenzhen) and city center, and Luohu Commercial City mall. Also, I entered the city from Hong Kong at Lo Wu - Luohu border crossing. For all of these destinations, the hotel is located perfectly. I used the Green line of the metro train for all my needs, and the Hoaqiang Rd station on the Green line is located only two blocks south of the hotel, about 5 min walk. If you take a cab to/from Luohu, it’s about 35 yuan (about 5 USD). Hotel staff was great, very courteous and responsive, proficient in English. Pleasant surprise for me was to meet staffer Alyona, who is trilingual with proficiency in Mandarin/English/Russian (also my native tongue), who explained some of the key points of interest around the hotel and made the check in/check out process lightning fast.

So much to like and praise! Location: Bang next to Exit A of Huaqiangbei station on Line 2 of the Shenzhen Metro. You come out of the exit, and on your immediate left you will see a Starbucks. Walk through and you will reach the elevators. The reception is on the 23rd floor. Room: very large and comfortable with two types of pillows. Large bathroom with high-quality toiletries and everything you might need for your stay including...well, you'll just have to see for yourself! Service: Everyone I interacted with was very polite and helpful. In particular, Jonathan at reception is an asset to the hotel. Speaks excellent English and goes out of his way to help. He gave me a room on the 32nd floor with a fabulous view. Thanks Jonathan! What else did I like? Wonderful breakfast, free afternoon tea, free noodles for supper. Ooh and don't miss the cute robots that deliver food to your room!

From the moment we arrived, Alyona went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of seamless. Her dedication to assisting us was evident in every interaction, as she proactively anticipated our needs and provided invaluable recommendations. Alyona's warm personality and genuine care for her guests made us feel truly welcomed and valued throughout our stay.

This hotel is just amazing! The rooms are huge, and the staff is fantastic, especially Jonathan and Daphne! They were always there for us right away, and we could go to them with any questions. We’re super grateful to them! Every hotel needs a Jonathan and a Daphne. They were so polite and friendly, always checking in to see if we were okay or needed anything. Jonathan gave us some awesome restaurant recommendations – every single one was delicious! Daphne was a huge help with organizing our transfer to Hong Kong. We’re definitely staying here whenever we’re in Shenzhen. On our last day, we met Hannah, who was also really polite, helpful, and nice. The staff really influences how the hotel stay turns out and for us: it was perfect – just like the first time!

I often go to Shenzhen for business and my stay at Huaqiang Plaza Hotel Shenzhen was always exceptional, so I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.The hotel’s room is spacious and with fantastic views of the city,also offers incredible value with a range of complimentary services that made my experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, Jonathan at the reception provided outstanding service, ensuring that my stay was as smooth and comfortable as possible. The location of this hotel is great! On top of a large parking garage, right next to all HQB markets. The rooms are spacious and the views are excellent. Breakfast was really good too. The perfect English and smiling service of Mr. Jonathan Yang was the cherry on the cake for our stay in Shenzhen. Helping us out wherever he could. He seemed to be always there to be of service.

The elevators are slow and sometimes other guests seem to travel a lot between floors, which makes for frequent stops. It does not help that it is a bit of a puzzle which elevator can / should be used for which trip. Signage about elevator use could be improved. The music in the elevator, lobby and breakfast area could use some more variety, after a week it tents to annoy. The bathroom in my 35th floor room had tiny insects on the floor and in the sink. Everything else was spotlessly clean, the insects come with the climate.

Location. Metro station right downstairs. Many restaurants at the basement below hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Free tea break and supper every day. Rooms clean big and comfortable. Very good stay we had.

Double rooms and twin rooms are on different floors. We needed 1 of each on same floor but couldn't. Understandable it can't be changed. But in case hotel decides to renovate, they can consider having mixed rooms on each level to cater to groups of different room needs. Bathroom doors were see thru even for twin rooms. So no privacy if friends or different gender siblings are sharing the same room.
