I stayed in a 2BR suite. I would like to commend Ludy from housekeeping for showing outstanding service level after I gave feedback on the lapses in the cleaning of the suite. She went out of way to make sure that I was comfortable in the suite and provided all amenities and cleaning services that I needed. She also fedback to her supervisor on my comments so that the housekeeper from another shift would attend to my requests. Sam Wu from concierge was also very helpful and attentive to our queries and needs. He made sure that our transport requests to various tourist attractions were met. In particular, he also advised on top attractions and details of moving around Gulang Island ourselves. Location and facilities in hotel were quite good.

The downside of property is getting a little dated especially the bathrooms which had a moldy smell.

A lot of nearby shops for eating. Wifi is strong. Bathroom is clean and spacious. They provide bath salt! Room is comfortable. The staff is friendly. Value for money overall.

Bring swimming cap if you want to use the pool, even for the guy with very short hair. But we can understand, this is to keep the cleanliness of the pool.

We had a comfortable stopover here between Australia and Europe. Might be a bit challenging to get there from the airport by cab without some Chinese, but we (with decent Mandarin) waited in the line for cabs to Xiamen city area outside the terminal and paid 35 CNY (the fare was the same on the way back -- the concierge called us a cab. Both ways cab drivers were happy to use their meter and to take cash). Front desk staff spoke pretty decent English and check in was easy -- there was a brief quibble about whether or one or two breakfasts were included in the rate but this was solved quickly and appropriately. The room was quite comfortable although the bathroom, though well fitted out was starting to show a bit of age. A really nice buffet breakfast, too. All in all a very good stay and great value compared to Australia.

Communication about airport transport after booking was rather too minimal.

Great place to explore Xiamen. Super comfy rooms and luxurious facilities. Excellent service and especially the concierge Sam was very professional, spoke good English, gave us helpful tips and helped us many times with communication and taxi apps etc. Definitely recommend!

I can't speak highly enough of the staff at this hotel. The closest I can think of is that they treated us like family. The room was large, the air conditioning was perfect, the view was great and the bed, whilst firm, gave this western back a good night's sleep each night. There were little things like giving us extra coffee satchels after a couple of days when they realised that we weren't using the teabags. We relied on the concierge team to book us taxis and they were very happy to do so, offering us other information in a smiling, friendly manner. Each person that we encountered from the cleaners, to the door people, from the breakfast attendant to the check-in desk people, was welcoming and helpful. There was always someone who could communicate fluently in English. The location near the subway station is ideal and its not far from Haiwan Park. We had a great stay.

Service in the onsite restaurants could be quicker after ordering. There was some mould in the shower, no doubt hard to keep under control due to the humidity.

Hotel was top class, absolutely amazing value as it was a 5 star hotel. Room was amazing and bed so comfortable. I was only on a stopover but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had in Asia. Great location, but unfortunately I had quite an early flight so couldn't fully explore. The check in was so easy, and the receptionist spoke excellent English, and the concierge arranged a taxi for me in the morning to the airport and told the driver exactly where to take me.

Nothing, amazing hotel

Great 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment perfect for family use . Also the bonus is room lounge have wash machine and dryer so convenient for our travel need. Staff are so helpful that help us to send parcel and order taxi for us. Special thanks to lobby manager Ray to mange parcel delivery which save us time to manage paperwork.

The room is of reasonable size. The room is clean. The staff are polite and friendly.

The decor is a bit old. The breakfast area is too crowded and the choices of food are fair. Feeding utensils are not enough! I cannot find a pork to have my salad. Instead, I have to use the only supplied pair of chopsticks. This makes the experience strange although I can finish my plate of salad everyday. It is not very close to ferry station. We had to go there by taxi or walk 20 mins.

Overall everything is good. The staff is nice and attentive. The location is great, with a lot of utilities, very convenient. The breakfast is filled with a variety of choices, which I really enjoyed since we on business trip and work for long hours, so a big & yummy breakfast is a great start.

Location in CBD, strategic place and still have so many choice of food. Pan Pacific hotel the best one you can trust. Like the atmosphere, room and facilities.

When we are going to swim, the staff stopped us and just info that we must have swimming hat which we don't bring, and he ask to buy in the hotel shop, otherwise we can't swim. Unfortunately why he didt tell us before,since we enter the pool.
