It’s an amazing place to stay I wash there for me birthday, it’s magic, you can see the sky full of stars. The location is wonderful. David’s family is the best. The can help to you all time. They picked me up me in the train station for free. I did a few tours en Beijing and they can help with everything. Also you can buy there very nice Chinese food. Chinese Drinks and anything. If you are looking for amazing experience in Beijing it’s 100 the best decision. I will come back !!! Thanks China 🇨🇳 Thanks a lot !!!

May and David are perfect hosts. They have been really helpful and very kind to us. They gave us plenty of information about the history of the Great Wall and about our visit. The courtyard is located not far from the entrance (15 minutes walking) and thanks to this stay in Badaling we could enjoy the experience of visiting the Wall at sunset. Absolutely recommended.

Traditional Chinese shi he yuan, felt very homey and welcomed by the owner. He picked us up from the train station at night and good hospitality during our 3 night stay. Very convenient location if u want to climb the badaling great wall during day time and also night time. Bed was on the hard side, due to traditional wooden bed, but we were able to rest comfortably.

Location is main positive key, you are 15min away from main entrance and cable way, second - host is really friendly and sharing some tips for the tourist I am really appreciate that. And beer cheaper than in stores near wall xD

everything was fine, just few objections about hardness of bed and local roommates who'd like to talk loudly and if you tired and want a rest it would be hard

Great Location, close to the China Great Wall main Entrance. David (our Host) was amazing, he speaks very good English and helped us with whatever we needed there. We enjoyed our Stay there and will stay definately once again with him. Room was clean and very cheap

Our Host was very Kind and gave us insider Tipps and helped us all time with whatever needed.

This is a well run Hutong Hotel, located in a small village adjacent to the Great Wall. David is a super host, the room was totally clean and the courtyard is a very nice place to hang out.

Staff was extremely helpfull. The courtyard was beautifull and well kept. The owners supplied us with valuable information, patiently answered countless questions, and kindly permitted use of their kitchen.

It was close to the great wall of china. The purpose of my 1 day trip was to go the wall. This was the perfect location. 15min to the wall. Perfect place to rest for the night. It had everything you needed.

The hostel owners was super helpful and lovely. The breakfast was great. Very convenient location to walk to train stations and Great Wall. Highly recommend to everyone.

David is amazing, help me through everything (tickets, taxi, hints, .. ). His English is very good. Courtyard is very nice, food very good. Atmosfere magic. Strongly recommended.
