Vila Curic had a lovely terrace with a good view. We were fortunate that there was no-one in the room next to us for the majority of the stay so whilst there is a barrier between the terraces, it is see low and not private. It is situated very close to the number 6 bus stop which takes you to Pile Gate of the old town in 10-15mins. Tickets are slightly cheaper at the kiosk (12kn each), but can be bought on the bus for 15 kn each. It was a short walk down to the Sunset Beach which had lovely restaurants and water was great. There was also a blow up obstacle course for the kids on the water. It is a bit of a walk back up the hill, but we found that taking the road, rather than the stairs was much easier and didn't feel quite as difficult. The rooms at Vila Curic were of a good size and whilst the bed was a touch hard, it was comfortable enough. The pool area was smaller than the photos looked, however it was rarely busy and was a great place to cool off with a lovely view.

Unfortunately we were not informed of the city tax on check-in which needed to be paid for in cash so we did not have the cash ready and our transfer to the airport had to wait for 20 mins whilst we walked down and back up to get the cash needed. It was also misleading that the booking.com payment said that the price was inclusive of all taxes and charges, but then further down it it says that this does not include the city tax. This would have been fine if we'd had notice, but we did not. This may be an unusual or isolated case and the man on the desk, who had been lovely up to that point, did evetunally apologise. It would possibly be a good idea for the accommodation to put the invoice under the room door the night before to ensure that everyone is aware.

Great view from room and pool, pool area very quiet and everything was always clean. Got clean towels replaced frequently, friendly host, and close to supermarket and bakery and a nice strip of restaurants.

Ceilings were short because we were top floor, we banged our heads at least 10 times so be wary if you're tall. Bit of steep walk up the road but worth it for the view from the room. asked for late checkout and was quoted 150EU which we thought was very steep just for a late checkout which we didnt accept but wouldve been nice to get a fair price.

The accommodation was very clean, had a small but well equipped kitchen area, with a good sized living/dinning area. A modern shower room. Lovely touches like, towels for the pool or beach were supplied, Sun cream at pool too for guests who come with hand luggage and umbrellas incase of rain. The views were spectacular from the pool. Staff were exceptional, couldn’t be more kind or helpful, our arrival was delayed due to flights, we arrived at midnight, the gentleman should have closed reception at 10 pm but waited for us. The supermarket and bus to the old town 5 mins from accommodations.

There was nothing we didn’t like, would be difficult to criticise.

The apartment had everything we needed and was clean/comfortable with a large terrace and fabulous views. The pool was great and also had amazing views. We were able to arrange transfers to/from the airport with the property management, a great service! There is a supermarket and pharmacy a short walk away and the bus stop is just round the corner. It’s a short distance from the beach/marina and a ten minute bus trip from the old town.

To have such great views, the property is quite high up and you have to have a good level of fitness to walk up and down the hill from/to the beach/marina. It’s not a problem but worth being aware of.

We travel a lot around the world, but we have never met such a kind and human approach. We don't even know where to start. First of all, we would like to thank the staff. We arrived at 8 in the morning and could use the pool, also our room was prepared very quickly. Also, we had an evening flight on the last day, and despite checking out at 10 in the morning, we could still use the pool and the common room all day. The pool was amazing, the apartment huge and very comfortable. The huge terrace was a pleasant surprise. The location was great, a little uphill, but nothing terrible. The bus stop, shop, promenade and beach were very close. There is really nothing to complain about and we could write endlessly about the positives.

The family that manage the accomodation are very friendly and will help you with any questions or queries . Angela was brilliant . The rooms are very clean and the rooms are good size . The pool is small but fantastic so refreshing and great views over the bay . 10.minute walk to local restaurants and amenities . The walk back up the hill in 30-degree can be a little more difficult . Would recommend a stay for a nice quiet relaxing break

My mistake for not noticing when booking my room without a balcony 401 , It did not spoil the stay as everything else was great but a balcony is an important part of a holiday for me and the family

The owner Franjo, his daughter Anđela and receptionist Sanjin couldn't have done enough for myself and my daughter. Franjo picked us up from the airport for a very reasonable rate. He pointed out places of interest on the drive, we had never been before so this was most helpful. My daughter has cerebral palsy so find steps difficult. Our apartment was directly across from the reception and had the least amount of steps. The apartment itself was spotless and had everything we needed, complimentary orange juice and bottled water in the fridge. Soap and hair/body wash in the bathroom. They even had separate towels for the bathroom and the pool, which was brilliant as I forgot to pack beach towels. We had a wedding in the Sponza Palace, Old Town on the Friday and Franjo kindly drove us there and refused to take any money for petrol. My birthday was on the Monday and I past reception on the way out to be given a beautiful birthday gift. I have never been so pleasantly shocked in all my life. My son wanted a Croatian soccer Jersey brought home and the whole team sent a few days on the Internet and ringing stores to see if they had one. I couldn't say enough about the hospitality of everyone in Vila Curic and the way they went out of their way to make our week a very special week. I would go so far as to say it was one of my favourite holidays ever. I would highly recommend a stay here and hope to visit again soon.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Perfect location in Lapad over looking harbour and marina where cruise ships and yachts dock. 3 minutes walk to bus stop at the end of the road, bus every 15 minutes, very punctual and took us directly into Dubrovnik old town for €2. Fabulous apartment which was spacious with balcony and huge veranda, very clean and everything you could possibly need was in the apartment. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

This place was fabulous, located on the no 6 bus run straight to Old town for 2euro. Amazing staff were excellent, knew their stuff and would help with anything. Guided you to areas to go and see. Pool was amazing and clean. Rooms were spacious, we had separate rooms for the bedroom and kitchen, an apartment really. Was amazing, so comfortable. Facilities were all there for you too. Really good place to stay. Would have no problem going back here. 👌

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed in an apartment with an amazing terrace with brilliant views overlooking the entrance into the port. Pool was an added bonus, every where was clean and tidy. On a quiet road. Great location just outside of the Old Town. Walking distance to supermarkets, bus stop, bars, restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend staying here.
