The view was great…. If you are not great at walking up steps /hill. It is a long trek up to hotel . Pool area nice. Rooms nice and clean. Quite small though. But good value for the cost. Breakfast had a good selection. Great hotel for groups. Would stay again . 😊

The breakfast could have a better egg selection. (Only scrambled or fried which were very undercooked. The walk up to the hotel is a bit of a trek .

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with swimming pool as the epicenter: comfortable rooms, terrace with cafe-restaurant (excellent chef!), friendly and efficient personnel. In the rooms fridge, large-screen TV, strong and stable wifi.

Have not found anything which could still be improved.

Excellent location, modern and clean. Large rooms with nice balcony. Lovely, fresh breakfast, wide range to choose from and plenty of food. Clean pool area with good pool bar and always lots of sun beds. Nice beach close by.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location surrounded by pines with superb views of the ocean. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble on arrival and delivered a truly amazing customer experience for my family - a huge thank you to Kocha, Andrea, Tea and Kristina who really went the extra mile to make our vacation perfect! The Pool area is clean with plenty of space/ beds and loungers, surrounded by olive trees, rosemary bushes and vegetation. The Pool bar served a good selection of drinks, local beer on draught and provided a wide selection of high quality pool food. The bar area provides a good selection for familes with young children also, ice creams and slush machine for the youngsters. Our room was an ocean view with balcony, great views. Room size was adequate for 2 people, decor was minimal and uncluttered, with a good stocked mini bar. Breakfast was buffet style with selection of juices, good coffee machine and variety of cold food (cheeses, local meats, hams and fresh fruits, salad items, great selection of breads and rolls), hot buffet also provided a great choice of eggs, sausages, bacon etc The lobby area is very relaxed, with an open covered area to relax with views to the swimming pool, chilled background music was relaxing for breakfast and down time. The hotel is a short walk to the ocean and coastal path which has a variety of fantastic beach bars/ clubs dotted along the route. The water was crystal clear, clean and perfect for snorkelling and swimming with easy access to ocean via steps or ladders into the sea. The Car rental Real Hvar at the hotel were superb - Ante and his team provided a superb service to us and nothing was too much trouble, very friendly, helpful and will definitley use again - thank you also for your friendliness and amazing service!! To sumise - we had an amazing stay at Pharos, cannot wait to return!

Be aware there are no lifts at hotel, this didn't affect us as we have a younger family, this isn't a dislike as such, just an awareness as bags will need to be carried up stairs if rooms are on higher levels.

Lots of loungers by the pool! Even an area down a step off to the side if you don't want to be right by the pool. Overall very good brekkies, beans bacon eggs and fruit meats cheeses etc. The chefs caesar salad at lunch was beautiful! The staff were friendly and helpful when I had air-conditioning issues! Mini fridge in the room! YAY! Overall would stay again! 😊

The pool should officially be open earlier, some of the cleaning ladies were cranky with me about being by the pool before opening times when loads of people everyday were there from like 7am 8am not 10am. Overall was fine most of the time but us Brits are sun worshippers so need all the sun we can get haha! Egg station at breakfast would be better as the fried eggs being cold wasn't as nice. It would be nice to be more clear on how to call reception from the room as I had to walk back and forth a lot when my air-conditioning wasn't working.

Loved this hotel! Pool area was lovely with a great vibe and music playing in the pool bar. We had a balcony with a sea view and loved sitting out each night enjoying the view. The hotel is up a hill but the walk is fine and even welcomed after a big meal/gelato in the town! The breakfast had a great selection and was very tasty. Nice to have a pool area to chill at in the otherwise very busy Hvar

this hotel is excellent value for the money. staff is very kind and professional. especially the staff on the pool. they are very helpful, very kind and doing their best to make sure we feel welcomed. There was blonde young girl making sure rhat we have all what we needed all the time while we were at the pool. bar manager was asking us for opinion, how do we feel there, and is there anything they can do better. that gave us feeling how hard they are trying to make their guest happy. i will always strongly recommend this hotel, and i will come again.

The staff were brilliant - pool bar and reception. The breakfast was superb. The facilities were great - think of a very glamorous and modern hostel with lots of space in the main building (reception/breakfast/laptop area) - lots of funky furniture, the rooms were decorated really modern with bright colours and a space saving desk/wardrobe/cupboard unit. The location was good - short walk away from the main strip and the sun set beach the other way, up high with stunning views, the pool area was superb too.

There's no lifts throughout the whole complex - to get to reception from outside there are two flights of stairs. There were also two long flight of stairs to get to my room. No offer to help with luggage. The rooms were a tad smaller than expected, you'd be pushed with two large suitcases and two people - I was on my own. The rooms overlook each other with no privacy as you can see straight in unless you pull the curtains which then makes the room dark. The bathroom is very small - you have to shuffle to shut the door to then get in the shower, then lift the mat when reopening the door - the shower ran hot/cold. Pool drinks are super high, this seems the norm in all the Croatian hotels in the main areas: £9.14 for a cocktail, £6.28 for a beer.

This is a reasonable price hotel in a quiet area of Hvar. Our room was clean and reasonably spacious, with a balcony and side Seaview. It would have been nice to have seen a little bit more colour in the gardens, as it was mainly just olive trees. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with options to sit on a terrace overlooking the sea or the pool. We did not eat dinner at the hotel, but the food looked good quality and drinks were reasonably priced. Hvar is a buzzing town with something for everyone. We hired e-bikes and had a fabulous day out exploring some beautiful little villages, riding through spectacular scenery.

Our only slight criticism would be the number of very young adults staying at the hotel. They were a little noisy at times. However we didn't spend too much time in the hotel, or around the pool, as we only stayed 3 nights, so it didn't affect us too much. I imagine it could be a problem for some guests though and it is something to be aware of if booking this hotel.

Lovely and clean. Great breakfast selection. Good number of sunbeds and umbrellas. Good location.

If using google maps to get from port, ignore the way it brings you up lots and lots and lots of steps. Walk to the church and go up the park way - less steps! Would be great if a luggage collection service were in place.
