I had a great time at Whole Wide World Hostel! The common room & bar is cozy and the place to meet other travelers. Happy hour is when the beer pong tables come out :D Most other people are in their 20s and I felt a bit too old but even at 37 it was super easy to meet others. For breakfast they had perfect scrambled eggs freshly made by Nico (: The other options were all sweet (cornflakes and Nutella). When I left for the airport super early in the morning Luca let me have breakfast even before the official brekkie time, that was great! He was very friendly and helpful.

The bathrooms weren’t very clean. Apparently they’re cleaned once a day in the late afternoon - I believe another cleaning before noon would be very good. Also the hostel is a little walk from the city centre but it’s a nice walk.

Location wise it’s easy to found and not that far from the Center and near also to train station. I expect that the place will be a little noisy which they told me from the start . Staff are very accommodating and good. My only concern was they don’t offer free towel I was told when I was there that I should bring my own towel which I didn’t expect. And the public areas like toilet, shower rooms even the common areas are not clean . But pillows and bed are comfortable and soft .

It’s not clean maybe because it’s Holiday and they have much guest and they have less man power .

My stay at Whole Wide World Hostel in Zagreb was thoroughly enjoyable! This hostel boasts an ideal location right in the centre of the city, mere steps away from the old town and its myriad of sights. This convenience made it incredibly easy to explore the heart of Zagreb on foot. The staff at the hostel were mostly kind and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. Accommodations here are clean and comfortable, contributing to a restful stay. The rooms are well-maintained, with comfortable bedding that provided a good night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. A particularly delightful feature was the included breakfast, which was more generous than expected. It provided a great start to the day and a chance to chat with other travellers. The communal area of the hostel further enhanced the social experience, offering a cosy space to meet and interact with fellow guests. Cooking facilities are available, which is convenient for those looking to prepare their own meals. However, it's worth noting that the kitchen space is a bit tight, which can be a little challenging when the hostel is full.

The only real downside to this hostel was the toilets, which are a bit old and could certainly benefit from some updating. While the showers were good, refreshing and well-maintained, the toilets detracted slightly from the overall experience.

This is one of the most fun hostels I've been to as a solo traveller! The common area always had engaging activities every evening and the staff really knew how to make it all worthwhile with new and interesting activities every time. Also very helpful and friendly! I'd definitely recommend it!!

The AC in our room was not the best.. it could have been better.. but still decent.

The people and sruff are lovely& ready to help. I like the option where you can leave you stuff and pick them up later for free. Everything is clean but could use some refreshener. There is free breakfast but we didn’t try it..you can also use kitchen and cook for yourself! Beds are comfrotable and overall it is a clean accomodation just 2 tram stations away from main square! Its perfect for price and if you are in Zagreb to explore the city

We were staying at 4 bed room - it gets really crowded if it’s full. I get that you just come there to sleep and not to spend your time in room but people sleeping on top bed don’t even have a chair or something in the room to sit on - they have to be on their bed. Showers and bathroom are ok but could use some refreshener or something for air bcs there is a lot of humid and it does not seem fresh..

- i would definitely stay here again, a very lively atmosphere, clean rooms - You can just chill here, but i would only recommend the hostel to those who want to party

- The showers are a bit old and some are broken - There are too many messages coming from the hostel, it's annoying - After paying for a non-cancellable booking I received a message saying "WE ARE A PARTY HOSTEL. Sometimes there is noise past midnight. Don't stay here if that makes you cry". Why not write it in the description?

I would gladly recommend this hostel and if you are lucky enough you will cross the paths of Patrick and Lucas your stay will be even more delightful. Staff! Very warm friendly and caring. I felt among the 20 hostels I've stayed the staff of this hostel were most welcoming and made me feel excited for my stay and for pub crawl. Pub crawl hosts were enthusiastic and kept the excitement. The best pub crawl I've had. Hostel lived up to its image of party hostel.

Common toilets but I guess several hostels had that so did not affect me much

The location is the best! Only 5mins tram ride from the main bus station. From hostel, you can walk to almost all famous tourist attractions. The hostel is for party people so they always make events, but don’t worry it will be quiet and peaceful at night! I even joined the group chat on whatsapp to connect with other guests. The hostel is very fast responded every time you have questions! It was difficult for me to find the location of the hostel even though the google maps said I already reached the destination, I sent a message to the hostel via chat whatsapp and they replied within seconds. You can also put your bags after check out with no extra charge! Very convenient!! They also provide free breakfast, toast/cereal and even an omelette with sausage upon request.

Unfortunately there’s no personal lamp and curtain in your bed. Also the charger port for the bed below is not really in a good place but not a big deal.

I have to say that so far it's the best party hostel i've stayed at, even if it was only for a night. the staff is really helpful, friendly and kind and the atmosphere that is created lead you to socialize easily with other people. it really makes you feel like home^^and it's difficult now to find a similar good hostel! +the room, showers&bathroom were all clean. i'm telling all my friends about this hostel and definetly i'll choose it again if i come back to zagreb^^:))

I only had some problems with the internet connection, but then it worked normally, so it was not a big deal:))
