the hotel was great, good sized comfortable clean rooms with easy access to beach and pool and no fight for loungers hotel is in a good location too with restaurants bars and supermarkets all within close proximity it was great that they had their own car hire service too. the views to the mountains and the sea are absolutely stunning here

it is such a shame that not all of the facilities within the hotel are available the wellness centre/ gym the country club reception area had these faculties been available this would have made our stay 9.5/10 the only other thing that disrupted our stay was when the room above us flushed the toilet it sounded as though they were in our room unfortunately we had someone that was in the toilet multiple times per night so we did have disrupted sleep because of this of course this is not a fault of the hotel but maybe need to look at some better sound proofing

Hotel is on a great location next to the beach and away from th noisy and busy main road. Good bar area with terrace and sea views. There is a good sized swimming pool with a sloping shallow end and a proper deep end. There is also a pool bar serving a good range of drinks and snacks. Good qualty sunbeds, and towels are available from reception at no extra charge. Breakfast is buffet style with a lot oif choices both hot and cold.

The lighting in the bedroom was very low level, there were only bedside lamps and a standard lamp, all with low wattage bulbs. It was OK for me as I wasn't in the room much in the evening, but it could be a problem if you are stayiong there in the winter.

Location excellent, I did’nt really adjust to Turkish food, I totally agree with the comments about breakfast, always the same, some English cuisine would enhance the rating, perhaps some croissants ...and some Heinz baked beans. For cereals, the milk needs to be really cold, and not as it was, rather warm. A choice of european flavoured yoghurts would be good and some western (cheddar) cheeses.Turkish cheese is too bland for my taste.

Perhaps a tennis court ? You need something else to do besides sit by the pool etc. Boat rides/fishing from the beach would be good instead of going next door.

My room was very spacious in the Denizkizi Royal, with a balcony overlooking the sea and a powerful enough shower. The bed was also very comfortable and the sheets and towels were changed regularly. The air conditioning worked properly and was able to be controlled by myself. I would thoroughly recommend the staff. They were polite and courteous, looked after me well, and it was appreciated. Breakfast was good. Plentiful choice although the hot food could have been properly hot. No limit on the amount one could eat from the buffet and there was a good choice of hot and cold drinks. The beach and pool were lovely and very well looked after. It is a real treat to have a sandy beach attached to the hotel, and the sea was beautifully clear. The gardens and grounds were superb! The gardeners deserve every credit. The snacks from the beach bar were very good and cooked to order, so hot. Dinner was also an unlimited buffet with plenty of choice. Drinks seemed to be reasonably priced. The hotel was very handy for the main road and the Dolmus, although the road was tricky to cross. I had a problem with the electricity in my room on arrival. The management quickly gave me another room for the night as it was too late in the day to get any maintenance person out. It was mended the next day. Loved the laundry too, very quick and reasonably priced. The public areas, lounge, bar and terrace, were very pleasant.

Nothing really, just a couple of niggles! The cafe bar at the beach didn't feel very welcoming, and when I asked about the buggy being available to take me back up the hill to the hotel from the beach, I was told it was broken. I didn't ask again! The rooms were slightly dated with very few usable electric sockets. This was a bit of an issue and I had brought 2 pin and 3 pin adapters with USB ports, but there was only one socket and it was too far away from any surface. The skirting boards and lampshades were dusty and one wouldn't expect to have to ask for a kettle these days. The hotel had no sign on the main road, so it was tricky to find after being dropped off by the local bus!

The hotel management staff were very friendly and assisted with all questions. Ckean well presented rooms. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of foods/juices/coffees for all.

Nothing, its a great hotel in a fabulous location. In my views there is nothing not to like. The managment have clearly thought of the customers needs.

Breakfast was good and all the staff was excellent... Evening meals lacked variety for vegetarians. For that reason fish should be added to the menu... Good location but we noticed cobwebs around the doors and ceiling inside the dining area. Additionally the outside lounge chairs in the bar area need to be replaced or the arm rests should be re-upholstered. They are broken which causes scratches to the arms and are therefore uncomfortable. Other guests made remarks about this.!!

The hotel was in a beautiful.location right on the route of the dolmuis the rooms were clean and very nice. The food was of a very good standard staff were excellent and very accommodating everything that was stated on there advert was true. We have a room with a sea view and it was just beautiful the facilities were not all open but what there was very good I will definitely book this hotel again.

The breakfast was a typical Turkish Breakfast, for an exceptional rating I would like to see a few more English breakfast dishes. The location is great, hotel beach is lovely and so is the pool. easy ride into Girne or Lapta either on a dolmus or taxi.

again the breakfast could of been a bit more continental. maybe some pastries and a choice of English breakfast would be great.

Didn’t like that once again booked The Royal and when we arrived we were told that block was closed and we were in another room without the balcony. Our room was very nice with nice view but not what we had booked.
