Location is great for sightseeing and swimming, good public transport links nearby, plenty of eateries. Pool, although not large was good for deep water aqua. Room was good, toiletries supplied. hairdryer and kettle together with tea and coffee. Also fridge. Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast fine, plenty of choice to ring the changes every day.

There is an issue with noise from Bar Street which is abt 20yds behind standard rooms in the annexe. I can only imagine that this might increase during the summer. The hotel reception will give you free earplugs so clearly an issue. Sitting on the balcony of an evening was like being in a 1970's disco in England. Top Tip... the white noise of the aircon and earplugs meant that it didn't spoil our holiday. I take notice of reviews myself so feel it is only right to review honestly.

Situation was quite perfect, for local bars and restaurants really near the waterfront, castle, harbour and beaches, free car parking for the hire car and really pleasant staff

Breakfast was really monotone, stayed a week and it was exactly the same everyday and not the best we have had, ate out for four days in local cafes, booked quite late, so our room was in the annexe number 609, really lots of late night noise from loud music bars 100 metre away, also room was clean and cleaned everyday but being a double room there was only one comfortable chair and two plastic chairs on the balcony, could really do with either another comfortable chair or small sofa

Not the newest hotel on the block, in fact, they make a point of letting you know (with a commemorative plaque) it was the first in the area after 1974 Turkish invasion. It has been renovated since, of course, and you can tell the improvements have not stopped. It's an old building, with renovated bathrooms and in my case, a quiet room overlooking the pool and sea. I wouldn't call it accessible if you have mobility issues, though there is an elevator and the means to get to your room even if you are in a wheelchair. Keep in mind that Cyprus is very hot in the summer months, I'm so glad the air conditioning in the room was efficient and the pool was the best I've experienced in years! Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and I tried one ofthe restaurants as well, nothing but compliments on the food and service. Shout out to reception, breakfast and La Place Royal servers, they were helpful and overall made for a great experience. For these aspects, I would give the hotel a 9.

My only complaint would be the cleaning lady really. I'm sorry to say this, but she doesn't do a good job. My room was clean, my bed was made, but I can tell there are issues. Maybe because she doesn't have the appropriate tools, maybe because she doesn't express herself properly. Let's just say there is room for improvement in this aspect, but nothing that would keep me from booking again.

This is quite a small hotel compared to some but this is to its advantage. The pool is small but very clean and well maintained. The are plenty of sunbeds to choose from even after the early birds have out their towels out! Breakfast was plentiful and regularly replenished. The waiting staff were always happy to help and were so polite. Our room was a deluxe double with a sea view and balcony. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The room was clean and we had complementary fruit, water and a bottle of wine on arrival. Mini fridge was useful for chilling water. The air conditioning worked very well. All the staff were so helpful and always greeted you and this made for a wonderful few days here. It is literally a few minutes walk from the hotel to the pedestrianised promenade which stretches all the way to the harbour so location is perfect. We would definitely stay here again if we are on Paphos.

Very pleasant stay with polite, helpful staff from Reception, Waiter/Waitresses, Room Cleaning/Service Staff and other Staff we met. Parking a little difficult on occasions albeit it is advertised as hotel parking. The Chef prepares an excellent breakfast choice that is well recommended. I would highly recommend the Hotel Dionysos Central. We thoroughly enjoyed the Cypriot Hotel and character. Thank You.

There is currently a lot of building work going on around the Hotel with unstable footpaths and roadways which causes safety risks. I hope this does not affect the Hotels character.

Location is great as restaurants & bars nearby and very near the sea. The breakfast is good all the food was very fresh. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Room cleaned every day and hotel in general was very clean. Good value.

Hard to find fault but there is construction work going on nearby paths which is no fault to the hotel but doesn't seem to start till after 8 am but would be annoying if you are by the pool which we were not.

Overall - a nice hotel. A very welcoming staff, nice breakfast and a fantastic location - close to everything: the beach, tavernas, pubs. The hotel is exceptionally clean. And a parking lot was a big plus for me.

The room was quite small. No queen size bed as marked in my order, only two single beds were available one set next to the other. A very small bathroom - your foot would touch the toilet when using the sink. I was traveling for business, not leisure, and was iut most of the day which made it quite OK but not more than OK. Ah - and don't drink the wine ;)

Traditional Cypriot hotel with lovely staff and surroundings near to sea and restaurants. Good breakfasts and pool area. Lovely little Central garden area to sit in tranquillity and shade. Clean and spacious room with balcony to side of garden.

Bath excellent but no handrail over bath so bit precarious to get in and out. Would be helpful on annex to have help to carry up bags( no direct lift and quite a few steep steps to negotiate)

I arrived at the hotel late at night in a crisis as my accommodation fell through at the last minute. The staff gave me a room upgrade so I could have a quieter room and were amazing throughout. The receptionists were so sympathetic (the guy on nights even comforted me as I had a cry at 4am because I was unsure what to do for the next 2+ weeks). The hotel itself was great, too. The breakfast was lovely (huge variety, something for everyone) and the waiting staff were friendly. My room was very nice with the balcony overlooking the beautiful courtyard. The hotel was attractive with nice decor. Good facilities overall and the location is good to get to the harbour area and bus station. And a big bonus was the 5 local cats who hung around the front and back of the hotel (I enjoyed stroking them and sharing my breakfast). I would definitely stay there again if I had planned it that way! Thank you, Dionysos! You made me feel much better about my situation and I was able to relax and enjoy Katopaphos.

Minor issues, like I had to keep holding the button on the kettle in my room down to boil it as it wouldn't stay down. The shower temperature would sometimes change, so I'd have to turn the dial to keep it from getting too hot or cold. The good outweighed the bad by 99:1, so really, these things were pretty trivial to me.

Location was very good, close to harbor and restaurants; Free parking slot near the hotel. Room size very good, however there were two beds pushed together that are moved and separated after the slightest movement (definitely not suitable for newlyweds :D)

Breakfast was very mid - the same menu for all days. Also I have missed salads and more vegetables; low selection of deserts. There were repair of roads around the hotel, it was difficult to find the right way to reach it.
