Wellness Pension Ametyst is a gem located in the heart of Český Krumlov, just a stone's throw from the main attractions. We enjoyed a delightful 5-night stay, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, nestled in the old town center, allowing easy access to explore the charming streets and historic sites. Our room was impeccably clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were particularly impressed by the tasteful breakfast, which offered a variety of delicious options to start our day. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from our window, overlooking the castle and a beautiful green park, making our mornings even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries. In my opinion, Wellness Pension Ametyst is one of the best places to stay in Český Krumlov, combining comfort, great service, and an unbeatable location. Highly recommended!

This is a fantastic dog-friendly hotel, perfect for a short getaway. Everything was great, and here are the things we appreciated in particular: - location - in the old town, close to the castle, and the hotel has its second exit right to the garden which is awesome for walking a dog - breakfast - honestly one of the ones we've ever had: great variety of options to pick from, big portions, delicious, can be served at a time you pick right to your room or in the lovely inner yard - the room facilities - everything was new, in a very good state, cozy interior, good water pressure in the shower - complimentary coffee from a coffee machine at any time of the day - a nice touch like a cherry on the cake :) - very friendly and helpful staff ensuring smooth check-in and check-out process

We stayed here for 2 days. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean, and had a spacious bedroom and a living room with 2 more beds. The location couldn't be better and we walked around Český Krumlov from the hotel, with bars, restaurants and all the interesting Český Krumlov shops around it. Also very close to the castle.

The shower is standard size, which is a bit smaller than we normally book, so that was a bit uncomfortable, but otherwise everything was perfect.

The location is great. Right on the main street as you enter the town. Everything is close by. You can walk to town from the front via the main street or go around the back through their garden where there is a swing and a castle view. The room is very comfortable. The bed and towels are the softest most comfy we have had in our trip so far. Their instructions around parking was very clear amd helpful. The breakfast in the room was really lovely.

The bathtub was a little small.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! A the castle is around the corner and it’s a short, beautiful walk into Old Town. The staff was so friendly! Our room was big and clean with a gorgeous bathroom. We slept well and really enjoyed the delicious and big breakfast! The spa - we did the sauna room - was divine! So well thought out and cozy and relaxing, truly luxurious. We loved our stay and would happily stay again!

We have zero complaints!

The staff was super nice. The check-in was easy. They ask what do you want for breakfast the day before and what time would you like to have it and they can either take it to your room or you can eat it in the terrace. It was delicious and the terrace/garden beautiful. The room had air conditioning and the beds were beyond comfortable The wellness area was amazing We only spent one night there and came back home extremely relaxed The location is also fantastic Would definitely go back

Appeared nice, new, clean, and beautifully decorated. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The front desk staff were so polite and willing to speak English with these two travelers—so accommodating! The breakfasts were amazing—so tasty and beautiful that I ate too much-haha!

The warm room was managed with opening the window to air it out before closing it to allow for silence at night due to some traffic noise. Ear plugs work too.

Everything was perfect.

Considering the location in the country, the presence of air conditioning in the room, the price was acceptable. The beds are high and comfortable. Parking in the general parking lot next door. The reception will give you a parking card upon arrival. Breakfast excellent. A very nice little garden where you can have breakfast. From the garden, you can use the room key to go to the large park, and from there to the fortress. The heart of the old town is within walking distance, very convenient.

The cheaper rooms are a little too small, there is not much space for a bedside table between the bed and the bathroom door. The bathroom was also too small, I had nowhere to put my things, maybe wall shelves would help.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the amenities available were lovely. The homemade cakes by the pension's "grandmother" were a nice touch and the spa/wellness facilities were top-notch. The price was a tad high, but given the variability of quality accommodation in the vicinity, I would pay it again. We stayed in one of the top rooms that had its own balcony overlooking the castle tower and it was pretty spectacular.

Everything was really great, so anything I write about "not liking" something will just be nitpicky at this stage.
