It’s not just the hotel itself that is great but also the location! Super friendly personnel, the guy, Nikolas, was very relaxed and explained all necessary things and even called us to make sure to get a proper arrival. He even stayed awake to arrange our arrival at 23:00 in the night. Big plus: + fantastic nature scenery at the doorstep, on 100m distance there’s a lovely castle + spacious rooms with all basic needs from shampoo, sewing kit and candy and great view from the balcony + comfortable bed and various cushions + dogs welcome + fantastic relax swimming facilities + incredible breakfast with many options from fruit to fried eggs and fresh croissants, fresh juice and good coffee and various tea options + helpful friendly staff

- the room had a few mouldy spots in the bathroom and at the wall in a corner but that wasn’t bothering at all, everything was spotless clean, warm and it smelled clean

Excellent breakfast, next to various hiking options, spacious rooms, friendly staff. The ladies working in service are working crazy hours (one worked every day from breakfast until late evening). The spa wasn't very busy which was nice, since noone would mind us entering with our kids. I genuinly liked the place and I would recommend it to friends. Although dinner is pricy, lunch options were great and very affordable. I guess everything else has been mentionned already in other reviews. Great place!!!

Lovely place in beautiful nature, a lots relax corners there and there... free books for reading, but i mean only in Czech language? Hasištejn ruins nearby, a few steps from hotel. The staff were likeable, men and women no exceptions. But especially receptionists like a Klara and her friends. I'm recommending this hotel.

I think the prices for meals are extremely high. We didn't eat there cause of that. But that's just one reproach.

Comfortable nice Hotel in a quiet nature surroundings. We went for Christmas holidays with the family. Facilities and staff are great. We had a perfect time with sauna, pool, hot tub and game room. Unfortunately the bowling was under maintenance during our stay. I guess we’ll have to go back again to enjoy it.

Nice stylish hotel. Very pleasant wellness, slightly overcrowded. Very good breakfast included. Nice and clean rooms.

No welcome drink provided although promised. The quality of dinner rather average, one year ago it was much better.

Nice room in quiet environment. Very cheap by our standards. Restaurant meals good and cheap as well drinks. Wellness area small, but enough good as the was only few other guests on same time.

The hotel is idyllically situated at Hassenstein fortress. From breakfast (buffet) to lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner (buffet), we were well looked after. The buffets - we ate in the hotel in the morning and in the evening - were richly set with everything you know from breakfast at home and much more. Really delicious. We had booked a room with a balcony, which turned out to be a VIP room. Plenty of space, a small hallway with wardrobe and possibility to put down the shoes wet from the snow, a bathroom with shower, hairdryer and towels and a big double bed. Kettle, coffee, tea, snacks and a fridge were also available. We had visited the wellness area once. The hotel has a pool, jacuzzi and 2 different saunas, plus various massage offers. A bowling alley, free table football and a table tennis table are also part of the indoor leisure activities. The hotel staff, from the cleaners to the receptionists and restaurant staff to the management, were really very friendly, nice and helpful. There are no shopping facilities in the village and also no restaurant, which you should know beforehand. Therefore, it is advisable to plan for meals outside the village or to book half board directly. However, you can always book dinner on the spot. We are thinking about visiting again at the end of January. A recommendable hotel with charming staff.

The care products in the bathroom should be checked and replenished more regularly and the pools are still very cold in the morning. Maybe they could heat them more. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about.
