Good location and quiet. Great little coffee shop and a great cocktail bar essentially next door. Fantastic service—perhaps the best I have ever experienced at a hotel. They immediately found us parking right in front of the hotel, took our bags up to the room, offered us water every night when we came back, and went above and beyond. The breakfast was good and varied and what you would generally expect in Europe. The room was pretty tiny, but quiet, clean, and comfortable. The central atrium has a skylight and a cobblestone floor, and is a nice and atmospheric place to enjoy breakfast and plan one's day. The hotel has some character and interesting history—apparently, the building dates from around 1200 and at one point was the stable for the St Agnes nunnery. I would recommend this place and would totally stay here again for future trips to Prague—we really loved the city and hope to return soon.

The only thing I would suggest is that they shorten or streamline the check-in process. They were very helpful by sitting us down and offering us a free drink, pointing out key points on a city map, etc., but they were also soft-selling their tours and we were tired from a long drive and would have just liked to go to our room.

- The room and its bathroom were extremely clean. Everyday the housekeeping made and cleaned the room very well. - The location was very convenient. The hotel is placed in the old town with many historical places nearby. - The check-in was a nice experience. They welcomed us with cake and coffee, afterwards they gave us a nice briefing about the city and sightseeing opportunities with a map to keep. - The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They asked if we need anything or how we are each time they see us. They always offered coffee or water. In other reviews we saw that they offered other people wine and beer options. Maybe they just assumed we do not drink alcohol? We don't know :) - The building is very old and has its history but the interior is beautifully renovated and everything looks nice and new. - YAMI SUSHI next door! (There was a Japanese restaurant close by and it was very YAMI!!)

- The breakfast could have more variety, especially for cheese and the breakfast hall was a bit tiny/narrow. - Like I said the staff was very friendly but maybe it is just us but the conversation need in every get in and out was a bit excessive for us. Sometimes you just want to get out of your room and hotel without any interaction :) We believe that it was done for good manners, but still it could be less.

I only wish I could give 11 stars. Top notch service at a small boutique hotel with only 20 rooms in the heart of old Town Prague accessible by walking to all top sites. Breakfast was a huge spread and included omelletes to order and kept us full until mid-afternoon. people treated us as family. went above and beyond on multiple occasions. Special gifts each night. picked us up at the train station for free and for the airport for small fee with their driver. Wine and water all day included. Advanced Money in Czech case twice until we got money from machine. One of the best stays we have had in Europe travel.

Charming hotel in an historic building in a quiet street, still close to central Prague attractions. Absolutely exceptional customer service, best I’ve encountered in many hotel stays! The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Appreciated the complimentary transportation within the city, welcoming beverages and snacks upon arrival and each evening, excellent recommendations for restaurants. Truly superb service!!

Bed was uncomfortably firm, room a bit dark, small shower - but appreciated the spacious countertop and vanity. Offerings at the breakfast buffet could be improved to better match the otherwise high quality of the hotel.

Hotel Agnes is the most welcoming hotel I have ever experienced. The staff is top notch. Hotel Agnes is close to all the Prague highlights. You can walk from the train station to the hotel in about a half hour but don't have to because they will pick you up. The Hotel has a driver who will also drive you to the attractions if you are not a walker. We walked easily to every area. The staff at the hotel were knowledgeable, friendly and always greeted us with a smile and an offer of the drink of our choosing. We left early in the morning and were given a bag breakfast with hot tea.

Absolutely nothing. It was perfect!

I have never before experienced such exceptional service from the staff at a hotel. The staff here though not related are like a family and the service is above and beyond anything you will have ever experienced before. They make you feel welcome like it's home not a hotel. All the Fantastic reviews of this place are 100% accurate. You will be surprised when you arrive expecting to grab your key and go to your room , but no, they will sit down with you over a complimentary beverage so you can start to relax after your travel day I will show you a map of Prague all the things to see any events that are going on at first I thought they were trying to sell us something but they really just want to help you get your bearings and plan a great time in Prague. Another example of how amazing they are is that at other hotels we were at on this trip we often got directions that were difficult to follow. Frank and his amazing team won't just give you directions to drive you to where you're going. In one case they told us which ATMs were safe to use and directed me to one that was nearby. When I had trouble finding it they walked me there. Those are just a couple examples. If they have an available room grab it as quickly as you can!

I didn't like that we couldn't stay longer

By a long, long measure, the most outstanding service we've experienced anywhere in the world. Included in the stay: A driver to take you anywhere in Prague and pick you up from the airport or train station. A sumptuous breakfast. Free beer and wine and non-alcoholic beverages all day long. The location is close to the Old Town main square and the river. The staff arranges anything you desire, like tours with a wonderful guide, concert tickets, and restaurant reservations. We especially enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel, a lovingly restored part of a 13th-century monastery. Hotel Agnes is as impressive as Prague itself. Such friendly, helpful, and welcoming people work here. They made our stay very special! We would never let friends stay anywhere else in Prague.

Loved everything!

Hotel Residence Agnes is an excellent hotel with great owners who is on the premises (serving breakfast, shuttling guests), great staff, great rooms, great amenities and a great location. I have traveled for work for 30 years and stayed hundreds of nights in hotels all over the world, but the Hotel Residence Agnes is the best overall for the money spent, but more importantly, the wonderful care and attention given the guests. We spent two nights there, but look forward to booking for double the time on our next trip. The best!

Everything. This Hotel is exemplary and how staff live customer focus must be taught in the industry. They are all professionals in what they do, and how they do it. Room is clean, beds are super comfortable, and there is absolutely no noise overheard from other rooms or corridors. Perfect relaxation. Aircon actually works in the room the way you want. Water is replenished daily in the minibar, and on second day we even found fresh flowers in our rooms. Breakfast is an abundance of choice, replenished to full even 5 min before end of breakfast time. When you walk in, one of Staff sits down with you and gives you quality time to explain ways around, showing recommendations on maps, etc. AND, they invite you for a drink or more, every day, and you only got the smash surprise at checkout: these drinks are all on the house!! Same is their transfer service to the Castle hill or practically anywhere else in town. Perfect location, best 3-nights we spent there in the last decade of travels! Whenever we return to Prague, we will only stay here. Thank you!

There is actually nothing that is not absolutely brilliant, and literally so.

After reading so many reviews about how fabulous this hotel was, it was a no brainer for us! We absolutely loved our stay! The staff are all wonderful.. they are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They really listen to you and adapt their recommendations to suit what you’re looking for. There are so many personal touches offered which enhance an already beautiful stay. The hotel is elegant and classy, the breakfast was lovely, bedrooms inviting and comfortable. We would absolutely recommend and will definitely return! Thank you!
