The staff at just about every Holiday Inn are always nice and welcoming. Such a great view from the 11th floor. The pool is a good size and great to lounge. Around the side/back is a loading zone into the lady bird lake. Great for boats/kayaks.

There was a smell every time we in the lobby. Almost smelled of garbage/sewage. I know it’s hot and we are in Texas, but the 11th floor was so warm. Luckily the rooms have AC. Which in room 1134 has a ac unit that is loud when kicked on. Luckily I sleep with noise. Though I didn’t put notes for my stay for them to make sure the room was clean I wish I had. The shower had mold that I cleaned as best as I could. Just felt the room needed better cleaning. As well as the elevator areas.

The hotel offers free parking in a garage, making it an affordable option compared to other downtown hotels. It is within walking distance of downtown, popular Austin streets, parks, and the lake, and the breakfast, served until 11 AM, was a nice bonus.

The TV was small, and the hot shower didn’t work on the first day, possibly due to high usage. The curtains were long and heavy, making them difficult to open as they frequently got stuck, which was inconvenient.

Used the free shuttle from the airport. Room was clean, comfortable, good size, nice amenities. Staff was polite but sent us to the wrong tower after check in. Breakfast was available for purchase but did not use. Location was close to trail along the river/lake. Maybe a 15 min walk to downtown. No issues with Uber pick up/drop off.

free breakfast would have been appreciated. Freeway noise noticeable about 4:30 am both mornings.

We had a short stay to meet up with our college student. We wanted a hotel near Rainey street so we could walk to the bars there. The hotel was easy to get to from i35. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The bar at the hotel was great. The room had everything we needed for our short stay. plenty of parking - spots were tight especially if driving a truck.

It was a little further to walk back to from Rainey street than I had realized, but this is not a deal breaker and is more on me and my lack of knowledge of the area than on the hotel.

Friendly staff, free parking, fair pricing, comfortable bed, nice shower pressure, Dove brand bath product dispensers, large screen TV, available shuttle service within 2 mile radius, restaurant and bar.

Very tight parking lot, however attached parking garage easily accommodated overflow. Keurig coffee machine didn't work, took 2 days to get a replacement. Rusty towel bar in bathroom. Outdated rooms, i.e. lamps, carpet, furniture.

The location was close to downtown, and some trails, plus walking access to Rainey St. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They offered complimentary parking which is GREAT if you are traveling by car. The room was well-maintained and clean. The curtains did block a good amount of sunlight so you could sleep a little later.

The second room I booked when I decided to stay an extra night was too loud due to the highway traffic even if it was up on the 12th floor. My noise machine wasn't loud enough to tune out the noise made by the cars.

The airport shuttle was very handy and a great help. The room was clean. Breakfast cost of $15 was reasonable. All staff we encountered were friendly. Great location.

We were in the older building which is circular. This made the bathroom & closet on the smaller side. The door to the bathroom was frosted glass which let light shine through to the bedroom. This was annoying in the middle of the night and early morning.

Location is perfect! Absolutely perfect! The room was very clean. We loved the balcony. The front desk staff (Alicia in particular) was very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast staff look miserable, for some reason. The breakfast buffet is terrible (maybe it’s the reason?). Sadly, we could not stomach a second breakfast there; we went to Dunkin’ Donuts nearby, which was better.

Easy check-in and having the free garage parking is great!

The first room we were given the AC wasn't working, but the engineer was quick to arrive at the room and diagnose it wasn't an easy fix. We ended up changing room to one that was working. Also the bathroom up-keep wasn't great. A lot of minor things and touch ups that could be easily done weren't so the bathroom seemed a bit rough, specially at the shower/bathtub room.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable with the only slight drawback being the noise from the interstate which wasn't terrible. It's a fairly easy walk to restaurants and bars on Rainey Street. Once the city construction is done, it should be a pleasant walk.

No real complaints.
