The room was very clean and spacious. Huge bathroom. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Ian at the reception was a Star! Great food in the restaurant. Outdoor sitting area. Kids have a little trampoline and a sandpit at the back of the hotel. The chef was also very helpful and prepared a lovely packed breakfast for us as we were departing at 4am to catch a 6am flight. The hotel even booked a taxi for us. All positives - highly recommended! We visited Legoland and stayed in one of their quite expensive hotels for one night. We could then continue our stay for 2 more days much cheaper in Hotel Svanen, which is located very close to Legoland and Lal andia.

The staff (especially Jan) are wonderful and the breakfast buffet was lovely! Very nice to hang out in the hotel's main area with other guests after dusk, and the location is perfect for exploring Legoland, the super-awesome Lego House, and other Billund-area activities (and most are in walking distance).

It's more a "warning" than didn't like... the rooms are cute, but small. The bathroom isn't well-ventilated, and the Danish summers can cause it to get a bit muggy in the room (especially when showering). Luckily, there's a fan in every room and you can open the windows (and it's a super-safe location).

Hotel Svanen is within a short distance from Legoland and other activities at Billund. The hotel consists of multiple one-floor buildings, so everything is easily accessible. Breakfast is in the main building with reception. Rooms are specious, and we had two beds and a sofa bed for our 10 and 14 year olds. There is plenty of parking space next to the buildings, and we had maybe 20 meters from car to room. Super convenient. EV is charging at the hotel from one of the charger networks, so it is not free, nor can you pay it at the hotel. You'll need to download an app and register. We had enough range for the next day, so we didn't bother. There aren't many hotels in the Billund area, and it turned out, we had been in this hotel some 10 years ago. There is Hotel Svanen, some really expensive Legoland hotels, and a camping site next door, and that's about what you have in Billund. Hotel Svanen wasn't cheap at the end of July 23, but it wasn't terrible either. And we booked it only 2 days prior.

Wonderful breakfast, clean, and close to Lego House. Great activities for children; a game room, huge sandbox, and trampoline. They graciously made my daughter a beautiful and very delicious cake for her birthday.

The bathroom could use a little more updating with better shower and table by the sink to place things. Some of the staff were a bit rude when we asked to eat dinner in the main dining room stating that we didn’t have reservations. The only problem is there are no other options unless you take the free shuttle bus or walk to town which is about 1 mile away.

Likedthis hotel, it is pretty good choice. Breakfast: Very tasty yoghurts, there is a choice of fruit and ham. One time there were waffles for breakfast, my kid saw them in plates but we couldn't find them...Perhaps they didn't make enough. The room is clean and cleaned every day. At the same time, the cleaners did not interfere (in Stockholm, for example, the cleaner decided to come at 8 on Saturday and woke me up).Good drinks at the bar and nice staff.

The price, however, is high. For 3 days I paid as for a week all-inclusive in Turkey at 5 *. This is explained by the proximity of Legoland and Scandinavia, in principle, expensive, but still ..

I came to town specifically for Legoland and Legohouse. The location of the hotel is a short walk of a few minutes from these 2 attractions. It is important to note that there is also a shuttle provided by the city, but I did not use it. The breakfast was varied and very rich. There are not too many restaurants in the city itself and the hotel also offered a rich buffet dinner at a completely reasonable price The room was very spacious, but the shower was a bit small There is parking for hotel guests (I did not personally use it)

The room (cabin?) was very clean and spacious; it almost felt like a mini apartment. The comfy sofa and coffee table were a lovely addition that I did not expect either. It was cold at first, but I figured out the heating. Loved that I had a kettle and some tea and coffee too. The breakfast was fantastic (although a bit busy), and dinner was nice too, pricey but delicious. I went to the Lego House and had no problem walking there. The staff was helpful with organizing a taxi to the airport too.

There were some super loud guests during one of the nights, some kind of a party with people drinking outside, but they got quiet before midnight. The way my room/cabin was located, a lot of people walked past it and looked inside while I was there. But I did not want to close the blinds during the day, so it was a bit weird, but I spent most of the time away so not a big deal.

Comfortable beds, clean, warm inside, very nice staff and 24 hours reception (we got in very late, after 1 o'clock because our plane was delayed) and they were very understanding and helpful. The hotel is located outside the city center. It is located close to Legoland and Lalandia and the bus station. Since we landed in Billund very late we couldn't find a taxi so we walked to the hotel (around 3 km in 45 min). The area seemed safe. Large bathroom.

The room got a little crowded once the sofa was extended (we booked a room for 3 people). A little hard to open the door (we might have been too tired :)) )

The lobby & interior was nice & cosy which comfortable & relaxing. We enjoyed the breakfasts there, really great that they had also paper cups to allow us to take a drink away with us. However, would’ve liked to see more foods options. The room we stayed in was on the ground floor, near the restaurant, which made us think could be noisy at times but it wasn’t thankfully. This could be down to when we visited it was during a quiet month. Layout of room was good. Really liked the warmth of the bathroom floor tiles and the room was kept clean. Location of hotel from the airport is not too far if you get the bus. However to walk it from the airport to the hotel, not sure it’s that easy due to the main road system. Also it’s a bit of a walk from hotel to town centre which took 30mins one way, unless you know the short cut which then reduces it to approx 20 mins. To venture little further, you would definitely need to use the bus, therefore get to know the bus routes or either rent a car to drive to get about easier.

Overall it was an enjoyable stay. But the location is far from a lot of things. So make sure you know what places or activities you want to do beforehand to research in prep well for how to get about, to make the most of your time there.

Excellent delicious breakfast and dinner. Responsive staff.

I saw 4 stars, and what I saw as a result. The beds are too soft, the room is too humid. Air conditioning with a desk fan and door/small window only. When booking for three, a couple of towels were missing (and even towels for feet). There were no body lotions. If you pay for dinners, keep the receipts until eviction. During the eviction, they demanded to pay for the already paid dinner. The reception helped to solve it, but there were questions.
