The property is amazing, tastefully decorated with nordic beach look that I loved. The rooms comfy and new. The hotel grounds are huge with a long secluded beach area with white sands

Location is stunning and the staff amazing. The hotel beach is one of the most beautiful and pristine I have ever seen.

Not much information about excursions and timings of restaurants were a bit restrictive and confuse. Also we had some issue were we had no hot water for several hours in our room but in the end the staff sorted it out.

Food was really good I hope they continue this way loved it

There were some issues here and there with the hot water but they would try to resolve it however the next day it was the same issue

The staff were amazing and so friendly, especially the front desk Ruth and Keren were wonderful and helpful. Also bartender Antonito at the main pool bar was amazing, he prepared the best drinks and always wanted to make sure we were satisfied. The property was clean, secluded, quiet, great place to relax. My favorite was the beautiful beach!!

Not enough night entertainment and need more food variety.

The Staff at Grand Paradise Samana were incredible. The location was perfect. Upon check in we were greeted by the very friendly front desk crew and guided to our rooms by our lovely luggage man. Although the front desk crew were very friendly and happy we were not told anything about our package or what was included. Different bracelets meant different options but we had to learn this for ourselves and it was a little confusing and frustrating. There technically was no “grand tour” of the facilities, the buffet was pointed out as we walked by as well as the towel hut. They had a buffet every night which was OK, same things every day, not much verity, but also had a restaurant(s) where you could make reservations (we found this out by fellow travellers). We were there for two weeks and every time we wanted to book at the “themed restaurant” (seafood, Italian) they were always booked full. That was disappointing as we felt that was apart of our paid for package. The food experience for us was a total let down. Henry the bar tender was fabulous! He went above and beyond his call of duty and we were so grateful for him for that. All the bartenders and servers were absolutely fabulous. The Entertainment Crew was another highlight. Mikiki, Katy, Joan and the rest of the ET crew thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to your jobs. Our housekeeping crew was also very good. A little disappointed we didn’t have coffee to make in our room every morning but that was not the responsibility of the housekeeping crew as much as management to have had the proper supplies. The location was just stunning, where the mountains and ocean collide and makes for some of the most stunning views I’ve seen while in the DR/RD.

Many small changes could be made to make this resort a 5 star. It wouldn’t take much. Just a little extra gratitude to those working so hard day after day. When you think of “Paradise”, that’s what you want and the money wasn’t worth the value unfortunately.

Everything was excellent but around the main pool there should be a cushion sofas around the bar . Reduce chairs and tables

I love that it was secluded, beautiful beach, very nice property but most importantly the staff was amazing, so helpful, and welcoming.

The food was just ok, not all restaurant were open, and not much to do at night.

pool is pretty, beach very pretty. not too much people on pool / beach area so it was nice when the area is so big, people spread everywhere. nice to have foods and drinks included for fair price. if i would drink alcohol it would be really good deal. lots of elderly people so its peaceful area. rooms are decent.

food wasnt good. maybe its locally good but it wasnt like other all inclusives im used to. staff wasnt very friendly. i didnt know you have to wear a mask going to restaurant, i think thats very annoying and pointless. my rooms curtains had lot of mold and shower was spraying all over the place, it should be replaced and then the floor was flooding. took therapeutic massage and it was really bad.
