The pool helps a lot especially after a long Sierra Negra volcano tour. Our room was big enough, with closets, AC and WiFi. Breakfast was average.

Our rooms were on the top floor, exhausting to go up every time (font forget anything in your room before going out). The first morning we had to leave early on a tour and despite we were told breakfast would be ready from 6-9am. It was 06h30am and the cook lady hadn't arrived yet and we left with just a cup of coffee and a piece of bread; no eggs, juice at all.

Great view from our balcony of the flamingos on the lagoon. Worth booking this room. We were collected from the port and transport was arranged for us to the airport on departure.

Breakfast not the best but ok.

Bright beautiful spacious room - very big bed, nice sofa for relaxing, and a balcony with 2 chairs. Pool downstairs and hot tub on the roof. Great location - 2 mins to the beach and centre of the town. Hot showers at any time. Helpful staff - picked us from the airport, arranged a couple of tours for us in advance over whatsapp, and arranged a taxi to the ferry dock when we were leaving (and also stored our bags for 5 hours after checkout). Breakfast was decent - eggs offered and fruit, yoghurt, bread, coffee, juice all available.

The light on the air conditioner unit wouldn't go off, so the room was quite bright at night. The bathroom sink tap was a push button, but it wouldn't stay on which was frustrating.

Nice hotel with a lovely view of the laguna (we booked the King size room with a balcony) and close to the beach. Spacious room and nice balcony. Good size bathroom. There are also jacuzzis on the top floor but the staff didn’t tell us, we found out about them by reading reviews.

Dirty towels which need to be upgraded as they are all stained and repetitive breakfast which is not great.

My room had a small and less comfortable bathroom. All the rest was very good.

The location was great an the room and bed exceeded expectations. The sheet were buttery soft. We loved the room's look and size being very spacious. Breakfast was awesome! I loved the abundant papayas and other fruits.

We didn't like that the hot tubs were only usable by reservation or that the internet or TVs didn't work at all. It wasn't just our room, none of the TVs or internet worked in any of the 6 rooms my group of friends rented. We understand the need to disconnect but some of us needed to get things done via internet and at the end of a long day adventuring, it would have been nice to put on a show, but nothing worked.

Beautiful room (Had the Lakeview King bed Room), comfy bed, great value, bottled water on every floor, good breakfast, attentive staff, swimming pool, jacuzzi, slow wifi as expected (had our internet plan on the phone but also slow). We enjoyed Isabela that we ended up staying 7 days in hotel la laguna! Message the hotel and you get answered promptly. Can pay with credit card for room, tour, ferry tickets without surcharge - this is a big deal in Isabela. There's one ATM and it's unreliable. Bring lots of cash. Other tour companies, restaurants etc add on a surcharge of 12 to 20%. Gabriel is the go to guy in hotel la laguna. Daisy seems to be new but she tries her best to help us.

Beautiful hotel. Comfy and large large room (we booked KING Lakeview rooms). Very good value for the money. The hotel pics don't lie. There's a pool and jacuzzi. Two blocks away from the beach. Our room has ocean view and lagoon (with flamingos) view. Good breakfast, helpful staff, ferry pickup and drop-off, bottled water on every floor. Best of all, the hotel takes credit card with no additional surcharge (most businesses in Isabela add 12 to 20% to credit card payments). Otherwise bring lots of cash. There's only one ATM in town that works roughly 60% of the time. We stayed 7 nights in Hotel La Laguna and we didn’t wanted to leave. Gabriel was our the go to guy in La Laguna. Daisy seems to be a new but she always did her best to help us. We were so happy with this hotel. Btw, wifi worked sporadically but that's unexpected. We have an internet service (Claro) on our phone and we get slow connection 70% of the time (30% no connection 🙄).

the location is excellent for people traveling to stay a couple of days at Isabel. the hotel staff is kind enough to provide taxi service to ferry or the airport. we definitely recommend it to travelers of all kind.

dustbin in the room, there's only one in the bathroom. also hot water kettles would be a good addition.

It’s very close to the center and the beach. The rooms are tidy and spacious. The staff are very kind and keen to help. The view to the lagoon with flamingos is priceless.

The restaurant is in the third floor, and there is no elevator so it is not accessible for people with disabilities. However, the restaurant can deliver the breakfast to the room.
