This is a very honest place, you get what you pay for and it's worth every pound. Not a fancy place but a centric, affordable place. The owner is a very kind and service oriented person he speaks good english so the communication was perfect,.

The place is just a 100 meters from the train station in a centric block so the surroundings are not the best but the location is perfect for train trips to Esna, Edfu and walking distance to Luxor temple and Karnak

Excellent place. The location is just perfect, less than 5 Min walking to Luxor Temple and to the train or bus station. Ali, Hassan, small Abdu, Omran and Abdu were always kind and took care of us. From the first moment we arrived we felt welcomed. Abdu offered us the best price for the tours in Luxor, I would recommend to take them with him. He always picked up us from the temples or any other place we were. He recommend us where to go and what to do. We felt always safe. The breakfast is delicious and the balcony is beautiful to spend the afternoon or evening there. The room was also really good and clean, the AC worked perfectly. The bathroom was good. You can see how this family really likes all the guests feel like at home but at the same time they show you all about their culture. We are always going to be greatful with Abdu, he made our experience the best in Luxor. We hope to come back and see this family again. Greetings from 🇨🇱

I had a great time at this hostel! The location is great – it’s easy to find on Google Maps, very close to the railway station and just a 5 min walks to Luxor Temple and the Nile Corniche, with many restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel itself is located in a small street, so it’s quiet at night. The rooms are basic because it’s a budget hotel, but they are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great and all staff members were very nice and helpful. I arrived at 8am on my first day and they offered me breakfast and a room for free when I arrived, which I really appreciated! They also helped me find a taxi to Dendera and nearby attractions. Overall it is a great budget option and I highly recommend it!

As far as African Hostels go, this was pretty decent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, answering a questions I had, arranging activities and transfers for guests, and making free tea whenever you wanted some. The smaller shared room option was clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooftop common area is pretty cool even though you can't really see the city. The location is also great. Most modes of transportation are available within a 5 to 15 minute walk, the airport is only 25 minutes away, and activities on the east bank of Luxor are all doable by foot if you are able to and want to walk.

Wish there were lockers in the hostel, some way to lock rooms so that people from other rooms could not enter, and overall cleaner facilities. But like I said earlier, for what it is and what you pay, given the circumstances, this is a good hostel.

I booked in this hostel for two nights..The stay was really good..some highlights are listed below. 1. The staff were really amazing..special mention to Abdu who was always ready to help..he was very kind and did his best to make me feel at home. A big shoutout to Abdu and his staff.(two cute boys) 2. Breakfast was really good and fulfilling 3. Trips..I had booked a trip to west bank through Booking.com..but no one arrived even after I waited for a long time. Seeing my distress Abdu took me personally to Kings Valley and then arranged his friend ro take me to rest of the places. I feel greatful for this help. The hotel also arranged for a hotair balloon ride at a reasonable price..it was such an amazing experience. 4. Transport..Walkable distance from Railway station and GoBus station..didn't face any problem when I boarded bus to Cairo 5. Location is prime..close to Luxor temple ..bazaar..there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Overall I had an excellent time at Luxor and I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a cosy stay.

Please be cautious about the people outside the hotel..you can meet some bad people who will try to mislead you for money. Better to trust the hotel team for your own safety!

2 mins walk from the Luxor station and 10 mins from the Luxor temple. Nice facilities with an opportunity to meet fellow travellers. Tours are provided too on request. Just ensure the price is competitive. We paid 400EGP for the west bank tour and later learned the other hostel provides the same for 200EGP.

Everything. The hostel itself is amazing. It offers you all you might need during your trip. The staff is the best part. They are so kind and nice. always available to help you with anything. They serve a lovely breakfast and are always offering some drinks during the day. The rooms are cozy and clean. The location could not be better. 3 minutes walking from the train station. 5 minutes from Luxor’s Temple. The best thing in the hostel is definitely the Rooftoop. You almost feel like home.

Mr Abdo is a great guy. He really take care of you. When we reach there it was like 7 am and our check in was 12 Am. So Abdo offer us breakfast even we were not checked in. Then soon after they gave us room like in 9 am. So we take rest. Our main goal was to do balloon ride at Luxor which was canceled due to poor weather. Then we talk to Abdo about it. He arrange us next day balloon trip on good price. So our goal was accomplished with the help of Abdo. Then after balloon ride we want to go tour at near place for site seeing but we finish all our cash on pocket. So Abdo lend us 500 EGP then we go for the 3 hour tour package provided by him. We pay 300 EGP for the tour. The guide was great. He was very knowledgeable and can speak English. He gives us like 3 hours in car and tour all the area near by Luxor. After tour it was time to check out. Normally the checkout time at hotel will be 12pm so we checked out at same time and we need to wait for train to Cairo from luxor,which depart on 7:15 pm. So Abdo look for our luggage at ground floor till our train arrival time. He also drop us free to train station by his personal car. I tip his son 50EGp. It was less compared to the hospitality provide by them. The breakfast was super and very tasty. The qty was big. They always keep asking if we need anything help. If we need tea or coffee. It was like staying at home. The whole family team was super caring for you at all the time. Thank you sweet Luxor hostel team for providing such excellent service to us. Benefit:- It's is 2 min away from Train station and Go bus Station It is 4 min away from Luxor temple. I don't click the room picture so I upload the balloon tour provided by him. It was super cheap and great Tour.

This hotel is super well located, its price is good and it appears on the map, the service staff is super friendly, they get you everything you need, transportation, currency exchange, charger, food and the tours are even cheaper than in get your guide... the bed is super wide and clean and the best thing is that the air conditioning is super refreshing... they have restaurants and markets nearby, in other words, it has everything!! Additionally, my check out was at 1 pm and I left at 6 pm and they allowed me to leave without charging me anything additional... I would definitely go back.

The owner of this property is very kind and helpful My bus came early in d morning around 3 o clock. I reached the hostel within 10 minutes. It's walking distance. they provided me room early in d morning 3.30 o clock. check-in time is 11 o clock, but I checked early in d morning. Staff is very cooperative. This hostels location is prime location. Train, bus , nily river market Everything is in walking distance. Breakfast is too good It's very heavy like lunch. In short, my stay was haslefree Very Goog experience of my stay They arrange my Valley of kings tour and hot balloon tour in the last moment
