The check-in staff was very kind and efficient, and gladly filled our request for a fourth set of towels (since there were four of us in the room). They worked together to quickly take care of our needs after that long drive that we'd just taken. For your meal needs -- if you don't mind lots of cigarette smoke, there's a casino right across the street, where you can get hamburgers (perhaps more, we didn't eat there.) If you prefer to avoid the smoke, walk to the end of the street closest to the casino, and from there you can see, at the next intersection, Old Nevada Pizza. This place is very casual, but the employees are very gracious and efficient, and the pizza is delicious! (Others tell us the sandwiches are great, too.)

I would have liked to receive a printed-out map of the property, rather than just having our room pointed-out on the counter-top diagram. On that copy, they could have pointed out/highlighted the location of the ice machine, the office hours, advised us that there is freshly brewed coffee available in the mornings, in the lobby, and told us the hours for that. (It's a long property, and I'd prefer if each half of the property, office in the middle, had its own ice machine.)

Compared to a few years ago and before Travelodge bought and refurbished the property, the room was in good shape, and the restaurant at the El Capitan casino was far superior in terms of food freshness, quality, and quick service. Easy, well rehearsed check-in. Even at a late afternoon check-in with lots of guests, all questions (some from multiple sources and at the same time) were happily answered.

Not a travelodge problem, but an alternate restaurant of the same quality would make Hawthorne a more welcoming place.

The room was very clean and very comfortable. The location was quiet.

I requested a copy of my folio when I checked out so I would know the amount I was charged. I was given a copy that showed $0. The desk person said that was all I could be given since I booked through a 3rd party. I went online to Booking.com, and I still was not able to ascertain what I had been charged. This information should have been readily available to me!

This hotel is located in a (very) small town. We had 2 nights and decided to stay at the area for the day but there is not much to do at the area of this hotel. There is a Casino near by and also a restaurant but the hotel itself only serve coffee at the morning. There swimming pool is good There is a (salty) lake at the area. Just to be clear the hotel is good

This was just an overnight stop for us, so we weren’t expecting much. But then we were pleasantly surprised! The clerk was very friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable (very surprising as most hotel bed are not), the bathroom was supplied with plenty of towels. Over all a great place to stay.

Only downfall was that there wasn’t any type of breakfast food offered.

Accepts pets. Across the street from casino. Allows dogs to stay in room while we eat or play.

They changed the section we usually stay in to premium and we didn’t know. The premium section makes it easier when taking dogs out. The premium section puts us in the middle of the block. The s3ction they put us in was very close to the road.

The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and adjoining rooms for a win when traveling with three generations.

The town of Hawthorne leaves a lot wanting. Run down town with very few choices for dinner. Plus we didn’t feel safe while shopping at the grocery store.

I booked on bookings.com and it didn’t inform me of all the amenities? I didn’t know I was getting complimentary coffee or a coffee pot, fridge or micro in the room. That would’ve been great to know what to pack. Also no info in the room about check out time, amenities in the area ( eateries, etc).. so just more info.. a pamphlet or something, and update the website 😊

For the money paid, this met all of our expectations. We were traveling across Nevada, needed a place to stay for the night, and this was clean and affordable.

While the rooms were very clean, they appeared to look like the 1980s inside. For the money though, we would stay here again without hesitation.

The front desk person was very friendly and efficient. I liked the new mobile check-in option. I made it very quick to get our room.
