- The location is stunning, coral reef all around the island - food was good - Staff are friendly - lots of free activities as well as paid ones
- when booking it should be made clear that the price advertised on Booking.com does not include the 139 Fijian dollar a day per person food bill which is mandatory. Don’t mind paying this as there is no where else to eat but it would have been nice to know in advance

Beautiful location, treehouse bure was great! Shared bathroom facilities are clean and convenient. Employees were exceptional too. Plenty of fun activities to do on island. Highly recommend village tour.
The hotel did not advise on booking we would be required to purchase a mandated food package for $120FJD per person per day. The food was excellent, there’s nowhere else to get food and this is good value for money but a heads up or option to pay upon booking would have been nice.

The food was wonderful and the staff was even better. We loved the place so much we ended up coming back after one day at another place. We stayed in a bungalow on the beach and could hear the waves all night. The snorkeling is amazing and there are free kayaks and paddle boards you can use. The bathroom is outside and incredibly beautiful. The room was big and spacious so we felt comfortable staying three people there. There are daily activities to participate in, and we enjoyed making our own bracelets very much. The place has a good mix of resort and backpacker feeling, so you get to know other travelers and has different price options as well.
The total price should be shown in the booking. You are charged extra per day per person, and it was unclear how much that was before we booked it. There's also a fuel charge added per day. I don't get why you can't just get a total when you book, the other stuff seems a little misleading.

Amazingly friendly staff, who put on a beautiful new year's party for us (with kava and singing!) Nox at the restaurant was always invested in us enjoying our meals and we really appreciated him every day. Nice, clean room Great snorkelling - lots to see! Awesome wood fired pizzas when they did this (ad hoc - extra cost ~$25 FJD)
Surprise fuel surcharge on arrival Bar wifi did not work at all Extra cost for kayak/SUP/snorkels - we found this was free in every other resort No hot water in the shower despite someone coming to service it on the first day (still cold the whole time) Expensive bar compared to other resorts

We stayed in tree bure, it was great. Not big, but comfy; great balcony (big). Bed was really comfy and clean, fan was working really well (it wasn't hot during the night). Showers and toilets are clean, but no hot water in the shower (it's common in Yasawas and not really necessary, but I like to have warm shower even in the tropics:P). The biggest highlight was the reef just off shore, simply breathtaking. The best we've seen in Yasawas and the best we've seen so far in our lives. Huge soft corals, reef sharks and rays abundant. Amazing.
The food is really overpriced( obligatory meal plan 119FJD per person per day), food was ok, but definitely not worth the money; what I don't like the most is lack of options and forcing this on me, I would be much happier to pay for each meal separately as needed. Unfortunately, it's like that in every resort. They also add extra charges upon arrival, without any notice (10$ per person per day, "fuel charge"). Just increase your price and be transparent, don't put people on the spot.

The beach is amazing, the shore and under the water there are so many fish and corals. The dormitory is very clean, built well so you have some privecy in it and there is an AC. The food is tasty.
After we arrived, we asked for towels, but it is not included (5$ per day per towel), snorkling equipment is charged by 25$ more each for all the vacaition. The dormitory is far from the toilet and showers. The toilet are ecological, no flushing, this is not a real problem exept of a bit of smell and that it is hot in side the toilet.

Fantastic snorkeling, incredible manta rays, beautiful premises, nice bures. Beautiful island with at least four beaches. Very kind staff - helped on multiple unusual issues. All the activities are great - scuba diving (while the gear could be better), kayaking, village visit, traditional crafts, cooking, dances, songs and so on. Plenty to do for at least 4 days. Price is competetive in the area. Rather young vibe, not exactly party island, but not a retirement resort as well.
Music on the beach bar can be loud sometimes. Some showers need repair. No soap or shampoo in the showers. Not recommended for people with movement impediments due to many stairs on the premises. Food is mostly OK, but many dishes are very bland, could be better for the 139FJD per day you are obliged to pay. Smaller bures lack storage and clothes hanging spaces. Wifi is very slow, covers only the bar area, 3G coverage unreliable - so don't expect any internet-intensive work done here (but hopefully that's not what you're in doing in Fiji anyway). Bring FJD cash for everything as they charge extra 5% for card payments.

Very clean rooms, nice shared showers, good drinks at the bar, amazing reef from the beach, awesome to choose your food, very cool gardens and layout
Room was pretty expensive considering you had to share a bathroom. Also the meal plan price of $140 per day was a surprise and really made the stay more expensive than expected.

The staff (Sela, Savi, Kope, Knox, Wati and Meri to name a few) and the location were excellent. The rooms were great and any issues were attended to immediately eg the leak in our bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The kayaks, life jackets etc were well maintained and clean. The quality of the food was a pleasant surprise, we had read bad reviews about it but we found it very good (and we are pretty fussy). The cleaning was to a very high standard.
There is nothing we didn't like but as an fyi for anyone planning to book a beachfront villa, these are actually in a block of 6. This means only units 1 and 6 have windows on external walls, the other rooms just have the ranch sliders at the front and a couple of windows on either side of them. The site isn't flat so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

I travelled to Mantaray Island by myself for two nights and had the best time. I stayed in the dorms as the cheapest option and they were perfectly comfortable with working aircon and very clean. The staff are so lovely and welcoming with most of them remembering your name - I loved the personal touch! The island itself is stunning with the most amazing snorkelling I have ever experienced. The meal plan is quite pricey but I enjoyed the food and felt like there was more than enough between breakfast lunch and dinner. Would definitely recommend!
