Although it doesn't show from the outside, Korpilampi is a treasure. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great view of nature. Comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and professional. The restaurant very good. Limited menu of quality food for reasonable prices. Great chef obviously. The gym might be a bit older but you certainly can do a fine workout. The spa area is great. With a dip in the cold lake after the hot sauna. I travel 4 and 5 star hotels for businessl all the time. And I always look forward to spend the night at Korpilampi with great pleasure

We like this hotel 🤗 in nature. The personal staff is friendly and polite. The sauna with the possibility to swim in the "lampi" is really great. The breakfast is also good and everthing is always filled up.

People should not wear swimwear in the sauna. This is mentioned on a sign at the entrance door. . But most of them do and it feels shaming when you go naked to sauna and all others are not ...

Wonderful hotel close to the city, but it feels like it is somewhere deep in the forest, quiet and peaceful. It's on the shor e of small lake with incredible views. For families with kids, there is an amazing playroom, kept our toddler entertained. Breakfast is tasty and served on a 2nd floor with a lake view. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful vacation.

The location of Hotelli Korpilampi on the edge of a lake is just pristine. The room was quiet. Our particular room overlooked the lake and was near the end of the hall, so we were way out in the woods and right next to the lake. The breakfast was really good--so many options! My daughter lost her phone and the front desk staff kindly called the place we thought it was lost. We only used housekeeping once, and they did a great job. The room was impeccably clean. We hiked around the lake many times, and even though it was raining, got hot in the sauna, then jumped in the lake. This made the swimming pool seem quite warm! It was relaxing to lie in our room with the window open and hear birds chirping and hawks calling out over the lake. We did rent a car and found it quite easy to park and ride the train into the city and take ferry rides out to islands.

The hot tub didn't work while we were there, but no matter. We went into the sauna to get warm.

The location of this hotel was just a perfect start for us on our first visit to Finland. We arrived from the airport via taxi, took about 35-40mins as it was snowing. We had a beautiful meal and then we went walking through the forest grounds. It was just magical. Sadly the swimming pool and sauna were undergoing maintanance which was a pity but over all it was great.

Being Irish, we love a cup of tea, many of them ......and so I was not too happy that the rooms did not provide a kettle and tea,milk,sugar. they do have tea and coffee at reception for about 1.80euro.

i will try to stay objective here, as I am almost in love with this hotel. It is hidden in the woods and I love the location. One can go for an evening walk in the woods. Or a day walk. Or a morning walk. There is a lake which is literally 5m away from the hotel and, as far as I understood (and have seen) is a swimming lake. Bicycles are available. The rooms are generally clean and hotel is relatively quiet (beautiful). There is a Spa and a swimming pool as well. Gym too. The menu in the restaurant is somewhat limited, but what is on it - is superb. Compliments to the Chef. The staff is very polite and welcoming and, even when there were hickups, it was always resolved rather normally (then again, I am a rather easy going person). Parking is abundant and rather spacy. The rooms are clean and comfortable (although a little bit basic), but still.... The internet and Wi-Fi is rather good. I seriously recommend this hotel to anyone.

The breakfast at the hotel is really delicious, there is a wide range of food. The location is very good, from Helsinki it is possible to get there by bus, from the hotel you can reach many beautiful lakes by bike. Directly at the hotel there is a local bike rental point.

There is no possibility to regulate the temperature at the room, for some people the air condition in summer may be too cold.

Environment and nature, lovely lake, nice swimming pool and saunas

We paid for lake view, but got none. On our complaint they acted very annoyed. Not to mention that the holiday offer was not applicable through Booking.com, so we had to pay 100eur extra to get food (this was included to others for same price and they told us the day before our arrival). Luckily we got another room. Buffet was not worth the money- also food was not refilled on time so people waited, and cake desert was for the fastest ones...breakfast thought was good, for cake also there you get if you're lucky.

Lake view… It’s amazing!!! Very tasty pancakes served for breakfast. Sauna and pool are great features. Price of stay (comparing with other Finnish hotels) is good.

Pretty old-furnished hotel. Has some issues in the bathroom. No double bed option in standard room. No fridge. Saunas are for men and women separately - that is exactly what you don’t want when travel as a couple.

the mattresses must be changed - they are way too soft and provoke back pain more table facilities would be good, e.g. a snooker table, ping pong table complementary water /tea/coffee would be good too the restaurant should offer a more varied menu
