One of the better locations, it is across the street from Hilton Hawaian Village. You don't get a view of the beach, but it is still a great location. The Hotel restaraunt is IHOP, staying there gets you 15% off your meals at that IHOP. I have stayed many times in the Aqua Palms, first time since Covid. I really like the staff and the location. Both are great.

They do have parking (you do pay by the day). Checking into the hotel with a car can be tricky, it is on a busy 3 lane road and there isn't any parking in front, so you end up block one lane of traffic in order to checkin. Parking is in the first 3 floors above the lobby and IHOP. There is also renters in the building who have reserved parking places, so make sure you do not park in a reserved spot or rick being towed.

All of the above! The location was perfect. Walking distance to beach and shopping was a big plus...

Parking was quite expensive. If parking garage was full you were instructed to use a public parking facility about 3 mins away. This was very disconcerting for a solo woman traveler.

I liked it. I was ready for a typical 3 stars hotel but this one is better. You are close to the ocean and everything. Right across the street from Hilton Village at a much affordable price. Honestly I cannot fault it. The staff goes beyond. I was treated better than in a 5star hotel in NYC where I went after Hawaii. Worth the try.

The 1st room was kinda of like being pushed into a broom closet- asked to be moved and had no problems, the 2nd room had a nice sized couch So we did like the accommodation.

The 1st room was super small and had no balcony. I think it was too much bed for the size of the room maybe a queen would be just fine.

The location was across the street from the Hilton, which is where my conference was. The staff was very friendly. The hot water was abundant! And, they communicated about cleaning services and checkout via text. The beds were comfy!

It was dated. Duct tape on the floor of the elevator, worn (but clean) bedding, and the balcony doors were hard to close/let in sound.

Location was great. Stayed 10yrs ago and had another positive experience this time again

Unfortunately, there were cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchenette area

The hotel has a perfect location, close to the beach, and everything you need. An added bonus is the extremely comfortable beds and a balcony. I appreciated the friendly and professional staff, with special thanks to Clarissa and especially Christian, who accommodated my request for a room change to one with two separate beds. I also enjoyed the flexibility of the housekeeping service, which offered text messages. The lovely staff ensured these services were tailored to my needs, without unnecessary resources being used.

It's not really a complaint, but I understand the hotel is undergoing renovations, and it would be more convenient if the carpet were removed to make floor cleaning easier

Location was excellent for bus stops, shopping, restaurants reasonably close to the beach. Our room had a deck with 2 chairs and a table which was lovely. Black out curtains, air conditioning, comfortable bed and pillows, reasonably sized frig., very good bathroom shower head with good water pressure and hot water as needed. Pool area very clean, hallways clear, vending machines and elevators that worked. The hotel is very well kept and hallways are quiet.

I would like the hotel to consider room cleaning every 2 to 3 days rather then the present 4 days schedule especially for a 2 week stay. Considering this a beach resort area the bathroom really does need to be cleaned every two days. The guest should also be given a cleaning schedule-at least the days if not the time (A.M or P.M.) as it would help plan their day. The lighting was extremely inadequate as only one desk lamp was available in our room. In the evening with the curtains closed it was extremely difficult to do any close work like reading or writing. Even one small lamp on the dresser would be most helpful. Bathroom lighting was adequate and two mirrors outside the bathroom was an excellent addition.

- Great location, walkable to a lot of places. There is a bus stop (20, 49) right by the hotel. Super convenient for if you don't have a car or don't want to use it for local stops! - Easy to get extra of basics - fresh towels, beach towels, etc. - Did take advantage of garage parking for one night which was straightforward - $40/night which is standard for this area. - Quiet rooms - I am sensitive to noise and didn't experience any issues from neighbors or street noise.

- I wish our room had a balcony, would have been nice so our swimsuits would dry. They did not dry out well in the room and started to get stinky. - I felt our room had a sort of "wet" smell from the AC being on all the time. - Better lighting in the front - it was at an odd location between the coffee maker and the full-length mirror and not super helpful for either - Please include a vanity mirror in the bathroom! I was kind of doing my makeup more by memory than by how it actually looked because of the far mirror and suboptimal lighting.

The location was great for visiting Waikiki. There was lots of food around, and the beach was very close by. I appreciated that it wasn't in the heart of Waikiki, because I think the surroundings were quieter than they would have been otherwise. While the rather dull hallways and slow elevator didn't impress me, once I got to my room, everything was clean and in excellent condition. I had a city view, and it was overall just very pleasant to look out the window. I had been planning to do laundry (I didn't actually get around to it) at the coin-operated laundry on the premises, and I like that that was an option.

I think on Booking.com I might have initially been shown the price without the resort fee ($27/night), so I would advise you to double check whether that is included in the listed price. It's probably okay if you actually take advantage of the amenities like the beach equipment and pool access, but I didn't, so it hurts a little bit. Parking on premises was $30/night, but there may be cheaper parking options nearby if you are on a budget.
