I loved that they respected my request of a room with access and view to the beach. My room was just perfect and lovely and the bed was so comfortable, and the beach was lovely. The cleaning lady and bell boy were great as well. Just for that, I would return!

I am sure that they did not wash my gym clothes (no problem); the problem was that one lady (with green eyes) in the reception lied about it and was rude. Luckily, the boss sorted out the problem, so all good. The facilities could be upgraded just a bit. The breakfast buffet did not look good. I had the bad luck of having some bizarre guests putting THEIR music very loudly. The crowd was not very interesting.

We have been here 3 times and have recommended it to many people. The meals they cook are so impressive- they even bake the desserts there! Staff is so kind and helpful. I like that San Jose is less busy and Posada feels more authentic than the rest. It's a very special experience!

Some of the outdoor patios are dangerous for little kids, they could easily fall through if they were curious enough. One receptionist was too strict on the towels, she asked many unnecessary questions for us to get new towels- felt like she thought we would bring them home (?).

What a FANTASTIC vacation! We completely loved San Jose and our choice to stay at the Posada Real! It’s small, quaint and feels like family. In fact we met many people who have been coming to that resort for 12, 20 and even 30 years!! That says a LOT about the atmosphere that is created there. Super clean, beach is magnificent, lots of poolside and beach chairs and pool was rarely busy (some felt it was too cold… we felt it was perfectly refreshing!) First experience with an all inclusive-that’s totally the way to go here. Great variety, quality and quantity of food and drink. Cleaning staff were so kind and attentive, front desk staff tried to help with things (not always successful), but the serving staff are the BEST!!! Special call out to Eder at poolside and Julio in the restaurant! These 2 young men are highly motivated to make you feel completely at home and well cared for and they succeeded. Gracias!!! We will be back

To heed the benefits, one has to just be comfortable with an older building that’s (literally) weathered storms that other facilities have not.

I liked pretty much everything. The facilities were nice, lobby was cozy. Room had Garden view but the Garden was actually quite pretty (and we even got to see the ocean from the balcony). The beach is very nice with white sand, though not great for swimming. Well located and several fancy places relatively close to the hotel (and a supermarket/shopping center too).

WiFi was bad in my room. Restaurants seemed to be buffet only so it made more sense to go eat somewhere else.

We enjoy that it is not a huge complex. It has a very peaceful lovely quiet garden. The pool is clean and has a nice setting. The staff is very attentive. it is relatively small and easy to get around to the room, breakfast and pool Some may say it is a bit dated , but it has a pleasant clean and nice decor and is well maintained. We like that it is away from the hassle hustle and bustle and touts of cabo.

Realize that it is more than a mile walk into the historic district of town although it is safe and pleasant to walk. Also this is not a swimming beach as there are rip tides. The sand on the beach is very soft so it's difficult for beach walking. It none the less, is a pleasant nice area. We have returned here 2 or 3 times. When you book, realize that a garden view means you are probably facing another building and not the Central garden Which is considered partial ocean view As you see mostly the garden in front of you and the ocean on the side. Because of this we upgraded when we got there.

The concierge was so friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a wonderful view of the pools and ocean. There are so many places to hang out, including hammocks and even a massage on the beach if desired. The atmosphere in the common areas (e.g., bar, restaurant), was great with live music. The room was a good size, comfy bed, small fridge, water, coffee machine. Easy parking.

The food was just "okay". However, I am not a big fan of buffet style meals. The steak was tough!

location, beach are fantastic, but you can not swim in the ocean, there is strong currents. breakfast buffet are fine, on Sundays they have barbacoa which is delicious, they have much more things that you can eat

for sleep and go are fine, Not much facilities, the room decor and amenities are just minimal. we get what we expect, as we see the pictures, so is not surprises. it is close to the airport ( 20 min ) and close to San Jose del Cabo ( 8 min )

The poolside bar is in the shady side of the pool and is amazing, the temperature of the pool was perfect (and the pool itself was big), the air conditioner in our room was to die for, the staff was super accommodating and nice (especially for English only speakers). It was very comfortable and small, as compared to the resorts around it, it gave a very comfy cozy vibe. Really adorable cactus garden in the middle of the property and AN AMAZING LUNCH SPREAD! The staff was amazing and had fun activities waiting everyday like bingo, water aerobics and an art walk that we adored.

The dinner options were a bit lacking at times, and every once in a while we got a little bit of an odd smell in the air, the bar gets full very fast because it’s small (pool side)

Fish Tacos were amazing. Massage on the Beach was amazing. The bar staff was amazing. Location on the beach couldn't be more perfect. It's quiet.

Dinner... There was nothing of quality. Frozen Burger patties, Hotdogs and Junk American cuisine. At least make the burgers by hand, Toast the buns and offer a unique assortment of toppings. Green Salad option would have been nice or some salmon or even Pasta. I choose to leave the resort to dine elsewhere, The concierge was more than willing to give me several recommendations... and it worked out to be an amazing dinner.

This place was exactly what we expected! If you want a large, fancy, 5 star resort then go someplace else. If you want a quaint, quiet, clean, smaller resort, then go here! That’s exactly what my husband and I wanted and that’s what we got. The grounds were kept up nice and all the staff were very friendly. I would recommend spending the extra money to upgrade to an ocean view room, totally worth it! Also, this place is within a 1-2 mile walking distance to the arts district and a grocery store.

I don’t have any complaints.
