Lovely lady on reception who appeared at breakfast time too and was always ready for a chat or questions Great position in the old town buzzing with atmosphere, lots of restaurants and the square where you could get the little road train tour or bus tour. Also short walk from the the Ferry terminal and the harbour which was a lively area. More restaurants and bars for choice. The best ice cream shop just opposite the hotel with so many unusual flavours and it’s lovely proprietor. Breakfast pretty good for France but quite busy Quiet despite position of hotel

Away from reception it was very dark, corridors and particularly lift, all black with low level lighting. Always watching where to step getting out of lift till eyes adjust. Never got used to it in 3 days! Room quite stark, dark also, windows high because of roof pitch. Bathroom good size but position of toilet right by the door was bad design, feet stuck out in front of doorway when using. Found bits on the floor not swept from last occupants. No kettle in standard rooms. Don’t bother with the citadel, it was the worst one we visited in Corsica, scruffy and rundown when so much more could be made of it as a tourist attraction. Shame potential not seen as not a lot to do in Ajaccio. Town beach an asset and easy to walk to

1. It’s close to the Diamant parking garage so you can easily walk two blocks and drive your car round Ajaccio. 2. There’s great restaurants on the same street as the hotel and great seafood restaurants behind the hotel. 3. Behind the hotel is where you can take ferry rides in the water. 4. The bed was comfortable and the Air Conditioning was great. Especially during the hot summer air you feel very refreshed indoors. 5. The staff are great. Any questions about attractions they can happily lead you to the right path. 6. The beach is a 5 minute walk where it’s great to take a swim.

Firstly the Pozzo di Borgo has an excellent staff. The hotel has an excellent location in the old town across the street from the napoleon Home Museum, restaurants and retail. Our room was a great size and well furnished. Same for the bathroom. Our terrace was a great "extra". Breakfast was also great.

Easier parking for the hotel. The nearest lot was not very far away, but more localized parking would be nice...also a pool.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. It is a great place to stay. The staff is exceptionally caring and kind, will be happy to recommend this place to friends. Recommendation - if you are a foodie - many food places in downtown are relatively simple, reserve a spot at an excellent restaurant before you go or look for places out of town :)

Nothing about the hotel. The public transport in town and around is limited, so I recommend to use/rent your own vehicle. Definitely recommend that for getting to/from the airport as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Location was perfect to explore the town as well as being in a very famous street where Napoleon was born. Information from the hotel regarding arriving with our car was easy to understand – unfortunately the gate into the pedestrian only street was not being supervised when we arrived, but the lovely receptionist from the hotel walked down to sort things out for us. Information on what to do & see as well as restaurant suggestions were also given. The room was extremely comfortable & a great size, along with the bathroom. The valet service offered for the car was not cheap, but it was well worth it to be able to arrive at the hotel & have the car taken care of…..& then delivered next morning freshly hosed off & bottles of water inside the car – great service!

The only thing missing is a fridge, especially in this warm weather it would be great to be able to keep some drinks cold.

Excellent Hospitality. Make you feel at home away from home. Very professional management and staff. Private Valet parking is very convenient in a pedestrian street . Location is perfect for strolling around the city close to the beach , citadelle , restaurants and other attractions. Always helpful are Lisa and Thibaud with perfect knowledge of the city and its history.

Entrance door is too heavy . Can always find system to open with less effort.

The location is perfect for short trip. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.

The room was rather dark even with all lights on. No minibar available for a fresh bottle of water, and some vital pieces of furniture were missing making it difficult to lay some clothes, or put a purse. Maybe because the classic double room was small, but even so, i had to put most of the stuff on the floor.

Why not stay in a former nobleman's palace? This elegant hotel with a modern touch is located in a prime location in the old town of Ajaccio. It is still my favorite place to stay in the city.

The breakfast was the one disappointment. Aside from the freshly made eggs, most everything else was either from a jar or package. (I had stayed here twice before the pandemic when all was fresh.)

Quiet and comfortable in the heart of old Ajaccio. Good Wi-Fi. Great hot shower. Comprehensive and well priced breakfast. The hotel offers valet, on-site parking (at a charge) - essential in this historic centre of town where on street parking is highly regulated and time limited. Very helpful and friendly staff. Tea making facilities provided in room on request. Great value.

The staff were excellent. They ensured I had gluten and lactose free breakfasts, answered my questions on the history of Corsica, made suggestions for visits and ensured I was comfortable.

The lift is rather noisy on the 4th foor
