We stayed for a one night stop over. Valence exceeded our expectations as a city. The hotel is close to the station, and we had a good sized room with kitchenette which could be handy. The bed was comfy.

There was an unpleasant strong cabbagy smell from the bathroom which is something that seems to happen in older hotels sometimes. We put some shower gel down the drain which helped a bit. The breakfast was chaotic and somehow there seemed to be too many people in too little space.

Very friendly staff, really helped.me out to get a family room which was a suite...enormous!! My biggest issue everywhere is the pillow. Here I got two, one hard and one soft, perfect! All rooms were huge, clean, and quiet. The breakfast had all necessary thing and the croissants were AMAZING!! Public parking was less than 100m away with cameras etc. Location wise it was in the city centre. Perfect!

Litte bit outdated and worn. The toilet door was hard to close, needs some tlc.

I used two different Appart'City apartments during a motorcycling trip through France in June 2024 (Valence and Orleans) and both were excellent. Originally booked the first one as our usual choice of Ibis hotels was thin on the ground and we were struggling to find an alternative with secure parking. However, the Appart'City delivered on all fronts - location, accommodation and value for money. Will use again without hesitation.

This was an emergency booking after a failed AirBNB and the room was huge, not big, huge! the location of the hotel is 5 minutes from the central train station and in the middle of the city, so everything is within walking distance. The parking garage of the hotel was full, but public parking around the corner was relatively cheap as well.

The hotel is extremely busy (which is good) so this means people blocking the street or being hogs while taking up time at the reception. That's the downside of having such a place on one of the busiests roads south.

Very well located. Very easy to find. Love the kitchenette, we were able to save on food by making our own. We had a long trip, so this was definitely appreciated.

The table to eat was a bit small, but we expected it a bit. We were able to make a work around. Parking was a bit expensive but very few spots are available, I recommend you reserve in advance. Very tight space too.

Bike Friendly - able to store bikes safely/secure in garage. Elevator no wait. Beds comfy. Shower good. Extra kitchen facilities. Right in centre of town. Good internet. Value for money. Excellent Italian restaurant right across the street. Quiet at night.

Depressing view with internal window on some sort of level where any could walk into your room through the window if left open. So we didn't leave it open. For one night, it was fine but might struggle if over a few days. Other than that though, no concerns.

The hotel has comprehensive facilities, the staff are very friendly, and they respond promptly to guests' requests. Their attitude is highly commendable.

The black hangers in the wardrobe tend to lose color easily. If possible, it is recommended to replace them with light-colored hangers.

The location. Only 3 to 5 minutes walk to train and bus stations. Patisseries frommagerie, cafes, and groceries within minutes and a nice restaurant almist directly opposite.

Lack of cooking utensils and poor positioning of light switcges. There was a loud noise several times a day, in the pipes I think. Definitely not the wind as they duggested when I mentioned it.

Apartment was a bit spartan, but had the basic necessities. Main bed was quite comfortable, but the sofa bed was not. Hot shower with plenty of water. The breakfast was very good. Very helpful staff allowed us to store our bicycles in a safe place.

Air conditioning struggled to keep the rooms cool. No ice tray. No screens on the window, so mosquitos could get in. Sofa bed not very comfortable.

The location was fantastic!! In the middle of it all, you couldn't ask for a better location! Clean, kitchette if you feel inclined to cook?

The room was way to hot and apparently you can't turn the heating down but if you open the window provides some relief. But better than being cold!
