Hotel was nice and clean, host's were very helpful, bedroom was a good size and clean. Town centre was a 15min walk from hotel which was not a problem, and the centre is full of bars and restaraunts and shops, stunning lake and scenery.

Breakfast is catered for the french, could have had more variety e.g fresh fruit, sausage/ bacon/ choice of egg instead of just boiled which you had to do yourself, toaster was available but no bread to make toast, coffee machine needs updating and was very noisy, dining room very small. on suite Bathroom was very clean but shower cubicle was very small, i am 6ft tall and struggled with it.

Nice Relaxing room with the benefit of a balcony. All you expect in this charming hotel. We ate in the hotels restaurant for the two nights we were there and the food was excellent. Good continental breakfast served in the conservatory, good choice and plenty of it. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very helpful.

Could do with coffee / tea making facility in rooms. Memory foam bed very warm!

Good sized room and really comfortable bed. Plenty of parking at the hotel, at no extra cost and also parking on the street outside. The wifi worked well and the shower was good. The breakfast was fine and the hotel is good value for money.

A kettle in the room would have made a difference. It was not busy so a room facing the garden rather than the street would have been nicer.

Very welcoming staff, fabulous building in a beautiful town. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast all at reasonable price

Nice big room with clean facilities and a decent lounge area downstairs. Staff were lovely and very helpful when we turned up a little early. Recommended. No restaurant for evening meal but there is one at their sister hotel, a short walk away.

This Hotel had the biggest room I've ever stayed in! It was comfortable with clean linen and towels, had a seating area at the back next to but separated from the Hotel parking. There were a few bars which served food a few minutes walk from the Hotel. The breakfast was a choice of hot and cold food and was served at the rear facing the gardens, A fine Hotel.

Our room was lovely but the water to the bath and shower was very slow and the toilet seat slipped when you sat down

It was good value for the money and was very quiet. The garden was very private.

It needed a few repairs, for example the bathroom heater was broken. The room's heating was unavailable between 8pm and 8am. I was a bit cold and had to snuggle into bed.

Very clean, comfortable traditional-style small French hotel. Friendly welcome, spacious room, very nice restaurant. Easy parking on site. Well placed for a final stop on a long trip before catching the Caen/Portsmouth ferry the next day.

Lovely old-style traditional French hotel. Easy parking on site. Very friendly welcome. Spacious, comfortable room that seemed to have been recently redecorated. Really excellent evening meal, with small range of good quality, very fairly priced, wines. Nice breakfast too. An excellent start to our holiday; recommended!
