The hotel is very interesting with many sketches and pictures adorning the walls most of which are from the hand of the owner. The location is as the name suggests very central to the main square and is handily placed for ferries, the train station and airport shuttle service. Breakfast is simple and can be taken either inside or outside. Reception is open from 7 am till 9 pm and staff are very helpful.

Our room was very dark so time spent in the hotel you are better to use the lounge on the ground floor which is full of wonderful art pieces. It was necessary to ask reception for additional drink accessories (tea bags etc) and a refill for the shower gel.

Friendly, helpful receptionists. Old, character building, with an art gallery/lounge on the lower floor to relax in. Everything worked fine. Clean and well maintained. Bathroom upgraded. Excellent location close to train station and two blocks from harbour. Plenty of dining options close by. The place grew on me, the longer I stayed.

Continental breakfast was served, no buffet. Wooden, squeaky floor, thin walls.

This place had so much charm! Very, very cool place with great decor and a neat feel. We were upgraded to a large apartment which was really nice. The staff were super kind and welcoming! The room was comfortable and truly beautiful. The location was great and it was easy to walk to everything we wanted to do.

Could have just been a little bit cleaner in the room. Not an issue but something to note.

This is an adorable little hotel in central Bastia. It's got an excellent location, walking distance from everything you want to see, eat, or do. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room looked exactly like the pictures (nothing too fancy, but everything we needed), and the beds were so comfortable that we slept way past our alarms!

This is true for most if not all destinations in central Bastia… the parking is very competitive. Be prepared to search for a parking space and a possible long walk back to the hotel. Make sure your car rental is a small car. This is not a criticism of the hotel, it’s just the reality of visiting Bastia.

The hotel is really lovely. It is decorated with a mixture old features, like tiled floors in the rooms, and modern items, such as art, books and interesting furniture. The lounge area, on the ground floor, is really cool. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The location is great.

Perfect location, uniquely beautiful hotel building/room and style and exceptionally fantastic hotel staff - all of them were wonderful and thanks a lot for their attentiveness and friendliness, Emma, Lvyia and Lada, all of you made this trip for us an unforgettable and unique experience. Also, for art lovers -especially paintings- the hotel is a heaven as it's got its own art gallery with wonderfully original paintings by its owner (who we understand happens to be a professional artist as well) and a library of arts books - it almost makes you want the weather to become rainy so you'd end up spending the whole day going through all the hundreds of wonderful arts books! Thank you very much but definititely a special thanks to Emma, Lvyia and Lada!

very quirky decor, very comfortable space. staff very accommodating (moved our room to a more convenient location when they saw the size of our luggage), great location in town. overall exceeded expectations, looks way better than the pictures.

The staff at the hotel are lovely, friendly and helpful. The hotel has an old world charm with an artistic flair. The room was a lovely old room, it had character. The hotel is centrally located - so walking distance to everything in Bastia.

The shower leaked as the doors didn't close properly so we had to mop the water up with towels every time we used the shower. Toiletries are a bit basic - could have been better as only a soap dispenser was provided by the sink and one in the shower. Bathroom is on the small side only one person can fit in it at a time plus the bathroom door does not close. Room was a bit dark, so a bit more light would have been nice. The bedroom floor needed a clean as it was a bit dusty.

A very cozy stay in a historic building with interesting art on the walls. It was a perfect location near the railway station, the port and the attractive center of Bastia. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful.
