The hotel is very close to the town center, so its position was excellent. Staff very helpful, gave good recommendations for dinner in town, as the hotel's restaurant was closed the day/evening we were there. Good breakfast as well.

The 2 parking places at hotel's entrance are quite small, not easy to see when you first arrive, and are only for downloading/loading your luggage. Then you have to drive to the nearby public parking, which is spacious and easy to access on foot from the hotel. When we arrived, the 2 parking spaces by the hotel were occupied (illegally, by cars delivering merchandise to nearby businesses). We had to make a long detour and come back, and still had to wait for space to be made available. The street has only one lane per direction and is quite busy, so it is not possible to wait too long, as you hinder traffic. These observations are mainly for other hotel customers, so they are aware of the situation. I doubt the hotel can do anything about it.b

A good comfortable hotel with an underground car park across the road and easy to drive to. The location was excellent and very convenient for walking around Bayonne. Breakfast was delicious. We were only sorry that the restaurant was not open for an evening meal, when it should have been, as one of the reasons we booked the hotel was for its restaurant

Although the hotel was on a main road and our bedroom looked out onto this road we had no traffic noise at all. We had 2 rooms and 1 was upgraded which was a bit disappointing. The hotel was very quirky with a wonderful turret entrance. We had an evening meal on our first night which was good. Would definitely return.

A hotel of great character, well situated, good view, a very spacious suite, wonderful staff, the best shower I've ever had, and when we had to leave a day early we were not charged for the night we did not use.

Small things but the second bedroom had only one bedside table and we were unalbe to adjust the room temperature

Bonjour and Au Revoir to one of the most pleasant stay of my life. Sometimes a place away from home can make you feel like what you have in the real world is actually lacking. I think that might really be the job of all tourist destinations. Escape, not reminders should be the goal of the hotel keeper. Simple enough, so is kindness. I absolutely LOVE this hotel and all of it’s staff. ~Micheal

A young man should be ashamed at his stereotypical rudeness pointed towards me, somebody he’s never even met. Intentions were high that this could be the base point for a very in-depth prospective on the Bosque people but Ben really screwed that up

Location was fine in the old town, food was great ( dinner ) bar was fine. The underground public car park just across the road and safe.

Breakfast a bit lacking, but not unusual for a French hotel. Uk visitors tend not to eat cold meats and cheese. But the staff were good and friendly.

The bedroom in the tower was fun. The courtyard was lovely.

The bathroom was a little dated. No fridge (like every French Hotel it seems) and no safe. The lovely courtyard could have done with being provided with an open bar a little more often. The restaurant was open every Sunday in August - except for the final August Sunday when we were there!

Loved it! Staff are super helpful. The bed was to die for, I was in heaven. Location brilliant. Bathroom spotless. A/C great. Parking very safe and nearby. Didn’t do breakfast so can’t comment. Had a great experience and I’m not easy to please.

The hotel is in prime location for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable with a comfy robe to relax in and real mugs to sip your coffee from. The front desk staff were amazing and assisted in locating a restaurant for dinner as unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed. There's also a lovely courtyard just outside the hotel to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Lively atmosphere at the bar on Saturday lunchtime. Super helpful and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Great, central location

No onsite/ reserved parking at the hotel. Plenty of public parking within a short walk though
