The staff were very friendly and helpful. The suite was large and quite nice with a beautiful view of harbor. The breakfast each morning was nice and we enjoyed watching the yachts heading out for the day while we ate. Overall the location was fantastic with lots of things to do just a short walk away. The pool view of the Citadel was amazing. We would definitely come back the next time we're in Bonifacio.

The club across the harbor was quite loud and could be heard until they closed each night (1AM or so?). We were up late every night so it wasn't a big deal but if you go to bed early I could see it being annoying.

Location is perfect. The heated pool is a very big plus. The bar (and bartender) was really nice and we went there every single night. We just tried their breakfast for 1 morning and while it was ok, I won't necessarily spend extra to eat there. There are tons of options within walking distance, where you can have breakfast. We loved the size of our room - but probably because we had ended up booking a quadruple room for 2 people! So we had 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies overlooking the water. Room size otherwise seemed to be on the smaller side. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Everything was good. Place was on the expensive side, but well worth it overall.

Fantastic hotel located in the centre of Bonifacio's port. The staff was excellent - friendly, helpful, and present at the reception 24/7. The room was great, massive and with an amazing view of the marina (and all the fancy yachts!). There is a great pool on site with a poolside bar, with equally great views of the marina. The hotel breakfast is absolutely delicious. The location is within the marina, so super well located for hanging out at the port-side restaurants; it's about a 15 minute walk (uphill on the way there, downhill on the way back) from the walled old city.

There is a very, very loud club across the marina that pumps music until pretty late at night, which you can hear from your hotel room. Not a big problem if you can sleep with earplugs, but not for everyone.

Bonifacio is a great town to visit and this hotel is right there on the harbor. You can walk to the citadelle. It was a great room with good a/c and wifi. Though it did not actually have a real balcony, it has a large opening window over the harbor giving 6 inches of "balcony". The breakfast is 10 Euro for a light continental breakfast or 17 Euros for a complete selection (not a true buffet, but they will serve you whatever you want). The parking was included - important in this town. Drive up to the barrier, press the button and announce your arrival and you'll be let in. (I didn't see a sign that told me this......) It is probably a bit tight parking at times but it is everywhere around.

The only reason to give it 9 and not 10/10 is the price.

We loved our spacious room - with the beautiful views onto the port!! It was very clean and staff were very helpful and friendly!! We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar and the barman was very charming & helpful. The bed was huge and very comfy!! Pool area looked inviting however a little too cool for us!! It was great to look out over the port and watch the yachts and boats coming & going!! Top location. The reception arranged an early taxi for us to the airport which we really appreciated!! The hotel decor is a little quirky - the bar/breakfast area is lovely!!

Lovely hotel in the harbour of Bonifacio with the prefect view on the marina and the citadel. We had a suite with two balconies which was lovely. The staff was extremely nice and it felt like almost be at home. They also have a lovely pool at the back. Close to all restaurants on the otherside of the harbour. 5 min walk,

The breakfast was good but we would have preferred a version where it is included in the price and one can pick for him/herself. 17€ for that formula where you needed to ask for each item felt a bit pricy so we chose the continental version. The room looked fantastic but the toilets would need a renovation to match the rest of the room.

The noise from the bar across the harbour can be a nuisance but its no fault of the hotel or its staff.

We absolutely loved the location - right in the centre of the marina and Bonifacio is an amazing place to visit! The outside areas were beautiful including the pool area overlooking the fort and the lovely shady breakfast area. The room was very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Some of the shared internal areas needed modernisation and the decor in the corridors is eccentric, but that is not a deal breaker. The only other annoyance was that the pool bar only serves fruit juices, not beers/wine/cocktails. To have a drink by the pool, you need to go up a flight of stairs, walk the length of the hotel, then down more stairs to eventually get to the internal bar, then wait and take it back yourself. Bit of a mission. Otherwise, a lovely place in an amazing place.

Located right on the port with easy access to restaurant and the citadel. The hotel has secure free parking so we were able to leave the car and do everything on foot.

Not a criticism of the property but a warning to users of Apple Maps. There are two locations shown for Solemare but the one on the North side of the port is the correct one. The wrong one is halfway up the busy road to the citadel. We found out the hard way and spent an anxious half hour driving around in busy traffic before we figured out the error.

The location is fantastic, view from the pool was the best we were there for Bastille day and the hotel put on a special tapas night around the pool, was very memorable!

Cleaning the room was a bit sporadic, although we appreciate the environmental issue with not washing the towels everyday, we had to keep asking for top ups of toilet roll, tea, coffee and sugar, would be good to have a small nespresso type machine in the room
