From the amazing house furnished to the way it used to be when the house was built, to the absolutely exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, everything exceeded our expectations! The breakfast is fantastic: fresh fruit, homemade jams, fresh juice, selection of tea/coffee and most days there were surprises like fresh pancakes, fresh waffles or home baked cakes. The bed was sooo comfortable, and there were small touches that were just so sweet, the hosts thought about everything (bringing water, cookies in the room and even stamping toilet paper?!)

The hosts are very welcoming and made sure that our stay was perfect. The house is beautiful and room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast delicious.Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Brignoles is well positioned to see the area and the accommodation is perfect for getting onto the main roads quickly. But unfortunately Brignoles is a bit run down and in the evening lots of men loitering about.

We loved the place. The old XVII century building was beatifully renovated with so much charm and elagance. The rooms are spacious and decorated in a way that you feel like you are coming home (lovely wooden floor with nice carpet and stylish coffee table, old wooden cupboard, etc.) The host is very nice and frendly.

I have the feeling that the mattress should be replaced. It had some indentations and I kept waking up.

Breakfast was very nice at a shared table which gave us an opportunity to chat with other travellers. The bed was comfy and everything about the room was excellent. The host was accommodating and always with a smile.

Sadly the city of Brignoles was not what we expected. It has a tired, seedy look to it and at times we felt uncomfortable walking on the street.

Great little place off the beaten path. Room was fabulous and very comfortable. The communication from hosts was great and breakfast was wonderful too.

We know it's not possible because of the age of the building, but we didn't like climbing with luggage to the second floor, so would have liked to have seen an elevator/lift for bags if nothing else.

A little gem! 16th century town house with a few spacious rooms all with excellent modern facilities and fabulous breakfast in a room of architectural importance, Isabelle and Nicolas are the hosts and are so helpful. It’s pet friendly and there’s a single garage right opposite.

You need to use satnav to find it but well worth the effort

A beautiful period house in a very characterful old town. This home was full of much loved antiques and original artwork. The fixtures & fittings were of good quality and the attention to finer detail was outstanding ! There was an ‘honesty bar’ filled with local wines and the owner baked cakes for us each day - a very special touch !

What didn't we like? We had zero expectations on what to expect and after our previous hotel our expectations were not too high. Boy, were we surprised! This is a REALLY lovely home that is really clean, smells wonderful and is so perfectly charming. The owners live there with their small family and they are just lovely hosts! The breakfast was perfect sized and delicious. The hosts were so kind and helped us with finding parking for our car. The backyard was private and beautiful -- plus two indoor / outdoor cats who my son loved playing with. This really was a great place. I would go back to Brignoles just to stay here again. For those who need to know - our room was 3 story walk up in a very old home. No elevator. We were fine with it but good to know if you don't like stairs. I don't know where all the rooms were though so check beforehand. But this was seriously amazing. It was like out of a novel!

The only thing I didn't like is that we had to leave. Other than that I cannot think of one thing! We were only there for 2 nights so we had zero complaints. We didn't ask them to clean our room so I don't know if they do that during your stay or not.

I love the atmosphere of the hotel. It felt cozy and special - definitely quite charming. The hosts were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The garden was peaceful and relaxing. I was so happy with our stay. We'll definitely be back.

The breakfast. It was great! Difficult to find such a nice breakfast in such a wonderful setting. Super. Both the bed and the pull-out sofa were very comfortable.

The room needs at least one small trash can.
