we arrived late due to traffic. we had driven from Livigno, Italy and on route home via Dunkirk. so this was a midway stop over. if we had time we would have stayed for two nights as the place and facilities are great. the host met us and was kind enough to assist in making a reservation at a local restaurant, which was fabulous. so thank you for the recommendation, booking for us and giving directions. The room was great with some original features and really well set out. spotless and clean, and the beds comfortable. gutted we did not get to use the Hot Tube after our long ride, but maybe next time.

of the 9 locations we stayed on our trip this breakfast was our least favorite. with a few more items such as eggs etc. but there was plenty and it was good quality.

My first ever 10/10 rating, this place is fabulous. Dog friendly, beautiful rooms and stunning unique bathrooms, the whole set up is very relaxing and honestly, just so lovely I can't fault it. Breakfast was limited but good. The host was very friendly and helpful. The B&B evening food service was closed for holidays which we were aware of before arriving. We were given a recommendation for a local restaurant which was a real gem.

that we only booked 1 night stay on our road trip UK to Italy

We chose Hagebuche as a very convenient stopover on our drive to Italy. Just off the autoroute, it was a real haven of tranquility after a very long day. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The garden was a gem, and we really enjoyed our ‘slot’ in the hot tub. We opted for an evening meal, which was tasty and excellent value, and enjoyed by our children too. Breakfast was also excellent.

We arrived early due to the mixed weather for motorcycling in the mountains and we were accommodated almost straight away. The location was rural so we went shopping and made our own food in the well equipped kitchen. We later had a game of boules with the equipment provided. The included breakfast was good too.

We spent a night with our dog, which wasn't a problem at all. The host is very nice and let us have breakfast in our room. The Breakfast was high quality, the host asked how we like our eggs which were very good, some ham, salami, etc. A lot of nice stray cats are running around. There are several good restaurant that you can drive to in a few minutes. Host speaks good English and French. Nice parking spots, right behind the Sign. Very quiet.

we had the big attic room which was very spacious and had lots of character . it was in a rural setting and the accommodation was very homely. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good and the stay was value for money.

unfortunately there was no evening meal on the day we arrived so had to go to a restaurant nearby that the hostess recommended. it was a good meal but as we were on a motorbike it is always best if we can eat on the premises as then we can change into more comfortable clothes.

We travelled through France on our way to Austria from the UK, and chose Havebuche as our overnight stay. For the price point everything was excellent. We were more than impressed with the huge and characterful room & bathroom, which must have been a converted barn. The garden was great to play with our dog after a long journey. And the location was very good not too far from the motorway. Breakfast was also very good. For the price this place is excellent! We do this journey often and will definitely stay again.

We were travelling back to Scotland from lake Geneva so a perfect stop for first night stay. If a little out of the way. My husband has broken his leg so our ground floor room with disability facilites was perfect. The owner was very accommodating and prepared a very nice two course meal with drinks for 20 euros each. The garden is lovely.

The beautiful bedrooms, bathroom, big living room, garden and the use of free bath robes and hot tub. All was very clean and the owner friendly.

The village itself is small and ugly. There's nothing to do. No pub, no restaurant. But the house and garden make up for it. It's a little paradise.
