The rooms were simple and comfortable. Clean and tidy. A safe for valuables and ample space in the wardrobe. Lovely swimming pool and surrounding area and a hammock in the garden. It was a nice tranquil spot.

The room felt tired from a decor perspective. Wardrobe doors just hanging but not really fitting. Creaking door handle to the bathroom and a sticking door was a disturbance during the night. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and no fridge - these would have been very useful. Generally the property could have done with a sweep more regularly and the public bins emptied on a more regular basis. Other 3 star places in Cassis provide towels for the pool - would be good to do so. Nowhere to hang wet swimming gear and towels except over the balcony rail which is rusted. It has left marks in one of our towels that won’t come out. You could provide a line (and paint the metal work). Having said all of this, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Staff were outstanding. It's a three star hotel, so expectations regarding facilities should set accordingly. There were plenty of sunbeds, adequate parking and an excellent bakery (with coffee etc) a few metres away. It is at the top of the hill, but we managed it daily, so just be prepared. The railway station is also within reasonable walking distance. Did I mention that the staff were outstanding?

Yes, the pool is deep and no, there are no tea/coffee facilities or fridge in the rooms, but we knew this before we arrived, so can't really complain.

The welcome by reception was very good. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast buffet was good quality and varied, including boiled eggs if needed. We didn't use the pool but it looked inviting. Car parking was a real benefit. The staff were very friendly and at least one person spoke good English.

The price was on the high side with extra for breakfast. Our night in Aups the previous week was about half price for similar quality. Be aware that the hotel is away from the centre and port area about 20 minutes walk up a steep hill. Parking nearer the town was available but at times it was either very or completely full. Cassis is a beautiful spot with a lovely market, port area, range of restaurants etc but it's very popular and can get busy.

the location - although a good 15 minute walk in to town - nice views of sea and cap canaille on way down. and after having a heavy meal in town - the walk back up although taxing was definitely required to burn a few calories. The area around the pool is lovely - and definitely seem to be enough sunbeds for everyone. Our rooms were good. Nearly all staff very pleasant and helpful. Nice bakery and pizza place up the road and shop/petrol station across the road - very nice staff there too.

the swimming pool! I love to go in the pool but cant swim - never a problem before but was here because of the depth of the pool - there is no shallow end. No markings anywhere to indicate depth - which I think is a health and safety issue. Didn't have breakfast but food at bar was average really. Also expensive for accommodation but it is time of year and no where is cheap these days.

Anna was very helpful on our arrival and gave useful advice. The room we had was very large, with an enormous, well-appointed bathroom complete with a heated towel rail. The beds were comfortable, and the air-conditioning was very effective. There were lots of lighting options in the room and plenty of power points. The hotel is an easy walk from the town centre and beaches. We had a great stay.

Minor maintenance was needed on the shower rail to keep the shower head in place.

Was a decent hotel, good facilities, parkingspots available. Clean. Liked the swimmingpool. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Airco was adequate.

Room was really small...which makes it hard to put your stuff somewhere. Guess we should have paid more...Drinks were a bit expensive. Also, as mentioned in more comments, the walk to the city is easy. Walking back could be challenging for those that have difficulty with walking as it is uphill all the way.

The breakfast was good value for the money but fairly basic and would suggest a higher priced option should be available

We had paid for a superior room with either balcony or courtyard. The room we were allocated was very dark and dingy and it was necessary have the lights whenever you were in it. The courtyard space had no light and it was therefore not possible to use this in the evenings. However, we raised this with the management who told us they could do nothing on the first night as the hotel was full but they moved us to a very good room the following day and so al was well.

The hotel has a rustic feel, lovely setting. Very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was good, self service continental. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. Huge bedroom for 3 of us with fabulous bathroom. Great pool with plenty of sun loungers. Great place for a couple of relaxing days in the sun.

Restaurant didn't do hot food. There was a take-away just up the road and you were allowed to bring food back which was good. I found it difficult to get in and out of pool with the ladders. Also impossible to get taxi or uber home from the town. That is the steepest hill ever...not a pleasant walk.

Self service breakfast excellent, everything you could want from a continental meal. Hotel set in lovely gardens with plenty of seating areas to relax. Slight drawback as we had no transport is that the hotel was a good 20 minute uphill walk from Cassis harbour & restaurants. It certainly kept us fit!

Lovely swimming pool with plenty of loungers but not being a confident swimmer the shallow end was far too deep to get in slowly and feel your feet on the ground so unfortunately could not go in.

really nice pool and relaxation area; kind and attentive staff; nice picturesque buildings and vibe; room was comfortable although a bit dated; AC worked well

the location is not ideal if you don't have a car, and the local buses didn't really work out for us; just a little bit far away from the main town to be ideal from a location perspective, and the hill is quite a hike up
