Now under new ownership and the restaurant is now owned by the hotel - it is superb, and great value for money! Staff all fantastic, as is the owner, and this would probably be the most of any ‘French countryside” stay that anyone could ever enjoy - just in the middle of a few fields, but all in easy drive distance to nearby towns. Wonderful gardens, a small-ish but beautiful swimming pool, perfect play areas for kids or places just to sit and enjoy the scenery. We ate in this totally rural hotel courtyard, yet on tables with beautiful white cotton tablecloths and napkins, and with superb quality food at a very reasonable. Breakfast also superb! Totally enjoyed this true and genuine hospitality at a very reasonable price.

Perhaps they could include a free tractor ride? :)

After our red eye from Marseille, renting a car, visiting Avignon and Pont du Gard, this place was a heavenly respite! Beautiful villa with a magnificent courtyard. Rooms were efficiently designed and comfy. Breakfast was one of the best we've had so far in France (even compared to some SLH properties we've stayed at during the last 10 days). Unlike most other BnBs that offer traditional "French" breakfast that's basically all carbs and some cheese, this place had plenty of eggs cheeses, and meats for protein. Not to mention perhaps the best croissant we've had thus far! If only all other places were like this...booking stays would be such a no brainer. 10+, whole heartedly recommend!

Breakfast was great although I would have liked a croissant. The room was very comfortable and clean and the grounds charming.

Dinner which is franchised out to chez Ricard however was a bit of a disaster. We sat down at 7.30pm and the main course arrived after 9.00pm and by then we had lost interest in the pudding we had ordered so skipped it; this may have been a one off problem because when we stayed in June we did not have a problem. We should add that the quality of the food was excellent but what came was not exactly as set out in the menu- chips and rice together!!!However the owners attitude when we mentioned its was to distance himself from the problem saying the dining is not his responsibility however as it is on the same site and the whole location is well into the country I think he could have shown a little more interest.

The premises are beautiful : great location, amazing courtyard (even in Winter) and everything has been decorated with a lot of attention to detail, while being mindful of the guests’ comfort. On top of that : delicious food is professionally served with a smile.

All superb. One small suggestion: a change of lighting in the bar could make that space even more cozy.

The breakfast was amazing. Ignore any reviews that tell you otherwise. There is a limited selection, but it is all home made and of high quality. The hammocks are a lovely addition and great to chill in with a book. The courtyard is very French and makes you feel cocooned. For what you get it is excellent value for money - 100% recommend to anyone else.

First of all, I want to say that we appreciated EVERYTHING! The people couldn't have been more friendly, the lodgings were simple, but lovely, the auberge was "far from the madding crowd" and very quite. Add to that, we had dinner at the Auberge that evening and it was excellent - as was breakfast the next morning. In short, and excellent address, especially for the price.

The location and facilities. Breakfast was good with a fresh orange juice machine !

The dinner sadly ! The description in French conjured up a delight. The truth was my duck and my husband’s beef were both served with the exact same sauce and vegetables! Not impressed by the standard of this food .

The whole place and staff were perfection, I honestly could not have picked a better hotel. The dinner was to die for ! I would say the best I have ever tasted and been served . Wish we had a few nights there, we will definitely be back. From New Zealand. Thank you very much

Not a think everything was 10 out of 10

Easy to find with with plenty of car parking space available. The hotel is very pretty and secluded. The rooms are large clean and comfortable. It has a pool that looked great but we chose not to use. The restaurant on site is a separate entity to the hotel. The staff are excellent, very friendly and speak good English.

New owners that have put a lot of effort into revitalizing the space. Great restaurant menu with a wonderful selection of local items. Great space for a family with your kids- close courtyard, many games to play with across the grounds. Will be back!
