We only stayed one night in Chalon. The apartment was clean comfortable and exceptionally kitted out for breakfast. Water in abundance was provided. Easy checkin

Not that it was a problem for us. The stairs upto the bedroom are very steep. The toilet room also located upstairs was rather small for my 6ft tall and broad husband. For a short stay though, it was a great location and comfortable stay overall. Breakfast was extremely good and overall great value for money.

Lovely and spacious room, great breakfast that you can have at any time you want. Nice kitchen for some cooking and backyard for hanging around. Easy to find and good instructions from the staff. Amazing for this money!

Bathroom sink is tiny - but really, that was the only minus.

It was charming, everything we needed for an overnight stay on the way to the south of France. We were astounded by the provisions for drinks and breakfast. Amazing!

We never actually met the hosts. Luckily some other guests were returning to their room and showed us around!

We stayed in the duplex apartment and it was very comfortable with a kitchenette if you wanted to cook for yourself. Breakfast was very substantial with a lot of choice. Location excellent. Wished we were staying longer.

Centrally located, walking distance to the river and the city center. Residential street in front of the house without too much traffic. Quiet, pretty nice and big room towards the patio behind the building, clean. Room, bathroom and kitchen provided everything needed. Fresh baguette and croissant delivered in the morning. Breakfast (self service from the well equipped refrigerator and kitchen) was included in the price. One private garage for one car up to 1,9 m height and 5m lengths available upon request and for 10 Euros per night. Soft drinks and beer (price list, payment based on trust) in the refrigerator. Friendly owner arrived 10 min after I called him on his mobile, let me in, showed me everything and left.

The direct surroundings of the house are not too attractive. When I arrived, it was impossible to find a legal parking space in the area, my car did not fit in the available garage. Upon my arrival (the only guest for the night in January) the heating was turned to frost protection mode, the entire house was at about 14 degrees. It took a while to get to comfortable temperatures. Bathroom was rather small.

There was always snacks, fruit, coffee and full fridge available. The garden/terras was very peaceful. Very friendly owners. Feeling like being at home. Great baguette in the morning.

I would have prefered natural bedsheets (eg cotton)

Great place with cute rooms, shared kitchen and charming courtyard. The breakfast options are really nice, the room felt good. The owner was very patient and accommodating with my schedule, checking in was the easiest thing. The street is quiet and well situated.

It was lovely, homey, clean and tidy. Great location, easy access to get in. Lovely courtyard. Very generous hosts. It’s possibly my favourite place so far on my three week trip.

Facilities very good. Shutters excellent.

Bed too short. Toilet way to small, had to open the door for proper use!
