We stayed here for 3 nights but wished we could have stayed much longer! This is a lovely property, a family home with a purpose built two storey house in the grounds with a lovely swimming pool. 1 apartment downstairs and 2 more upstairs. Very comfortable for families or couples. A lovely living area with sofa and two chairs and small kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Three single beds in one large bedroom that our boys used and the master bedroom was a great size with a huge comfortable bed and patio doors to a private decked area. The bathroom was massive with a lovely double sink area and large shower. The location of the property was excellent for visiting the nearby chateaux, we managed to visit 5 in two days! Our host Oliver was a lovely friendly chap who gave us lots of information on the local area, local restaurants and had plenty of stories to share with us! He made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was wonderful, Oliver asked each of us what we wanted on our arrival and each day our breakfast was delicious, everything was homemade including the many different and delicious jams and the brioche was amazing! If we are lucky enough to visit more chateaux in the future we would not hesitate to stay here again.

So lovely, our first night of 20 nights in France and it was just perfect. Great host, great location, Great pool, great breacckfast. Home made yoghurt best i've ever had. Jams lovely. The interesting thing about this property was that myself and my wife both chose it while we were looking for accommodation in Loire on separate computers. Great location in Loire.

Too short a stay which is always how I feel when we find a gem.

Good location. Owner friendly and helpful. He had good suggestions for where to eat and even booked the restaurant for us. Lots of information on what to do in the area. We were only there for 3 nights as a stopover from the south on the way home to the U.K.

Au Bonheur de Cisse is a nice hideaway close to the Loire river on the countryside. The rooms were recently refurbished and are nicely decorated. The bed is very comfy and we enjoyed the fresh air. The pool is clean and well maintained. The landlord is very helpful and can provide with good tips for activity or food. The breakfast was good with lots of fresh and homemade marmalades and brioches.

The bath / washing area and a small coffee kitchen was integrated in our room. For the one night we stayed it was ok. For longer stays it might not be comfortable.

Nice and clean place in a quite neighborhood, close to nearby towns and Chateaues. Friendly and warm host and good in house breakfast.

The breakfast could have more options such as eggs or omlete options.

A very friendly and helpful host. The accommodation is comfortable and the use of the pool was much appreciated on a hot day. Nice modern bathroom with a very good and spacious shower. We enjoyed our stay.

The bed is a double size but we understand this is due to be upgraded to a queen soon, which will be an improvement.

The breakfast was amazing, the best I've had in a long time. The location was ideal along our route to the south of France. The owner Olivier was very welcoming and helpful, a terrific host!

If you have to nit-pick, I'd say I would prefer the most comfortable beds in any lodging. The bed was fine, albeit a bit small for a Dutch sized man. You can't do it all!

The little kitchen we could use to have a picnic and the open space in the barn All very new and clean, very confortable, set up with a lot of attention to make their guests happy Olivier is very kind and is full of recommandations.

Great base location to visit the most of the grate/best castele on the Loire and in the evening enjoy life in the garden with 0 noise pollution (with a grate variates of wine - the host has a cellar)

Is not a big minus but the breakfast has no croissant

The rooms are in a detached building which we found very convenient. Our room was just completed by the owner and looked really nice. All together a brand new spacious apartment, very convenient for the 2 of us (3 is also possible). The very friendly owner is very willing to help you out with the service aspects and always in for a chat (partially in English!) We enjoyed our 2 days stay at this lovely place with the nice swimming pool.

Tiny thing: we missed the trash can 😊.
