hotel is in a very convenient location, right across from the train station and very close to the Christmas shuttle bus stop. It's very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Our birthday celebration could have been more special along with a bottle of Alsace wine, a nice cake, and a stylish gesture. We recommend this to the hotel management. Also, consider making the hairdryers portable. One bottle of water in the room is insufficient and tastes bad; the brand sold in the restaurant is much better

If you are travelling with a car, then this hotel is perfect for you. They have a parking outside the hotel for EUR 3 per day. The room is clean, spacious enough for 2 adults and a kid. The location is approximately 15mins to the main attractions. However, there is a free shuttle bus that operates from Monday to Saturday that will bring you to the known attractions. It is also nice that they have 24 x 7 reception. If you are planning to take the train and explore other cities, this is the perfect location as the hotel is just opposite the train station of Colmar. It is also a plus that there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood.
The breakfast is a bit pricey for what it is. We stayed there for 2nights and we only took the breakfast once for that reason.

The hotel is older but our room on level 1 has been very well maintained. The beds in our room were great - we have been travelling for 2 weeks & these were the most comfortable beds we experienced. The room layout is great - suitable hanging space, a comfortable bathroom, plenty of room for luggage etc. We stayed for 2 nights. We were travelling via trains & had a large suitcase each - the hotel is essentially at the train station, but the soundproofing is good. We slept with the shutter down for darkness & fresh air. The breakfast was lovely - the best yogurt & cereal! We walked into the Christmas markets within about 10 minutes.
Nothing really. The service on the front desk was functional & effective - but I wouldn't say it was friendly.

the room was spacious and very convenient to the train station
We had dinner in the hotel and the food was absolutely terrible. It was my worst meal in Europe every. I think they served old meat, we were so looking forward to the Chateau Briand and what a letdown. You could tell it was sitting around for a while. Very disappointing. and we paid well over 100 euros for this meal

The hotel is so convenient to the train station and just a short walk into the town center. Our room was very nice and quiet. The hotel staff was so gracious and helpful and they do an exceptional job keeping the place immaculate! We absolutely loved the Hôtel restaurant and their wait staff who were ever so kind! The food is simply superb! We totally enjoyed our stay in the hotel and in Colmar! Thank you to all the hotel staff for making our holiday visit so memorable!
Not a thing to mention!

My fiancée and I stayed for one night at the hotel after a day trip from Strasbourg. At first glance we were already astonished with the beauty of the building and the surroundings, as well as the perfect location just opposite to the train station. The room was impeccable, spacious, clean and beautiful. Breakfast was also delicious. But what I came here to say is THANK YOU so much to all the staff, specially Viviane. I lost my engagement ring in the room and only realized once I was back in Paris. I called the hotel and they immediately searched for it and called me back to say they had found it. Bear in mind that it was a quite pricey diamond ring and their honesty and eagerness to look for it and return it to me were unimaginable. Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed in, for all described above.

Love the location, we travelled by train so it couldn't be better. Overlooked water features in front of the station from our hotel window. Very little train noise.
The signage on the hotel could be better, the hotel is right in front of the train station, but it is still hard to find. There is no signage at the door. Some of the reception staff were ok, but not all were very knowledgeable about the area. Asked the same question to 3 different people, got 3 completely different answers. Breakfast was acceptable, but on our last day both coffee machines were not working, but one was fixed before we left, the dining room girl tried her best. The toilet bowl in our room was absolutely disgusting and no cleaner should have left it like that. It had not been cleaned properly for a long long time. There needs to be someone checking on the the cleaning staff.

Perfect location adjacent to the train station, allowing us to take a day trip into Strasbourg, leaving the car in Colmar. Hotel also had private parking for reasonable additional fee off the street and secure, which we opted to use over the street parking. The hotel had excellent buffet breakfast in the restaurant, which included large selection of meat, cheese, eggs, bread, fruit, cereals, etc. We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant, which offered regional specialties of good quality and reasonably priced. Service was also excellent. Rooms were clean and standard for what one would expect of a hotel room in Europe. Hotel is also easy walk to the old city center of Colmar, where there are additional restaurants and bars.
Nothing to add.

the locations couldn’t be better if you are arriving by train, it is a bit of a walk into the old town. The rooms were clean and modern with ample room to open luggage. we loved the excellent luggage storage facility in the lobby. What a brilliant system!
the showers were not good as they only have the detachable hand held shower-head so I was not able to wash my hair which requires two hands. The breakfast was not good (raw egg) with the exception of the pastries. Noise proofing is an issue we could hear noise from the street and internal corridors. we paid the city tax in cash upon arrival but the staff member did not record out payment and another staff member tried to charge us again at check out.

The excellent hotel location. It’s jus located outside the station. The hotel perhaps could do with a more prominent sign as there is none at the street level. Most importantly, I like the genuine and honest staff. They attended to me whenever I approached them and they were friendly and helpful.
Just facilities could be maintained regularly. For example, the mens toilets at the basement. One of the cubicles is in total darkness. No light.
