Location is near historical sites and reminds us of the tragic wars and our hope for peace. Staff members are working very hard to provide the best they could on rainy days. The room is very clean and nice.

Room, facilities, location were superb. Most of the staff were welcoming, helpful and very patient of English attempts at speaking French. The food was beautifully prepared and cooked but it came with some reservations.

Breakfast - The breakfast buffet area was cramped and overcrowded making breafast serving continuity difficult and confusing. Dinner - The Special board did not change at all over the four days and on some occasions choices were not available. One or two of the waiting staff seemed reluctant to engage with us as customers and we felt unwelcome and unconfortable. This was the only dissapointment in our stay as we had high expectations of world renowned French restaurant service.

Absolutely fab hotel. Great choice for breakfast from continental to hot choice. Breakfast room very nice. Staff very welcoming, friendly & helpful. Very comfortable beds & we had a really good sized room. Food excellent. Hotel is situated where you can easily travel to other towns, the beaches & monuments. Highly recommended.

Although the food was delicious the menu choices are limited. Would have liked just one more option.

Very spacious and comfortable room with good facilities including kettle and tray for beverages. Good size towels and well equipped bathroom. A really wide choice for breakfast served in a separate dining area or even outside in good weather. The restaurant had a varied menu with a different daily special, service was good.

No socket for a hairdryer in the bedroom for drying/styling hair. The shower over the bath was a little tricky to use and no antislip mat.

Although the breakfast is nice, I thought that expensive at €16 each and the choice wasn’t that good the quality was good, but as I said little expensive

I was little bit surprised that the waitresses quite rude to a number of people in the bar. It was approaching 11 o’clock and people had drinks. They were just finishing their drinks just before 11 when she turned the lights out and Tiles had to leave which for a good quality hotel like that, I think you should treat the people a bit better.

Easy to book online, everything was ready as we arrived and the room designated was a superb surprise since we had no idea where this was going to be. A Lovely room distributed in a two floor stoned tower, clean and a very nice.Highly recommended for romantic getaway. Love those Normand White Stone buildings.

We only stayed for one night and therefore were not able to make the best of all the services provided, couldn't taste the chefs delights. Something to consider due the investment given.

Rooms were truly beautiful

So of the staff seemed a little fed up of the English! I was happy to try my French but they seemed slightly indifferent and couldn’t be bothered- the restaurant staff specifically. The breakfast really needs to go up a notch to fit with the rooms. Breakfast was pretty average to awful if I’m honest. Take it or leave it. Daily room cleaning also needs to be slightly more professional- there was food left in room from night before and I had to call at 9pm for some toilet rolls as no spare left!!!!

A beautiful building with amazing gardens. One of the rooms we had was in a newer part of the building and was lovely - light and spacious and very comfortable. Restaurant was very good. Bar area was super to relax in. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Our room was in an old part of the chateau and was rather small and dark/dingy. Bathroom was tiny. Compared to the other room, the facilities were not worth the same cost (in my opinion).

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had booked a superior room and this definitely met our expectations, it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. There was a good choice for breakfast and again the breakfast staff made us feel welcome. The location of the hotel is excellent, being very close to D Day Landing Beaches and Bayeux. We will definitely return.

Limited options on the dinner menu. We had booked dinner on the first and last nights of our stay, there were 2 options on the main menu, together with an additional option for each course on the blackboard, but unfortunately this was the same on both nights that we dined in the restaurant. I understand it had been different on the other days we were there, so I think we were just unlucky here. However, the quality of the food was excellent and could not be faulted and it wouldn't prevent us from dining in the restaurant on any return visit.

Beautiful farm estate hotel with a bed and breakfast intimate feeling. We planned your stay o e night as we just lucked out on a last minute booking, then stayed two nights. Although we had to move rooms to do so, still good. We originally had a double (queen) with “comfort” size which was cosy. The actual “cosy” room on the attic floor was indeed cosy. Every square inch put to good use, small but cosy!

Nothing! Liked everything.
