We had a superior room, which was very comfortable with a huge bed. There was a private car park for guests, which was easy to access from the hotel. We didn't use the spa but went swimming in the sea each morning, as there is a great beach right by the hotel. There are a few bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk, the first part of the town 10 minutes walk away, and the main town 25 minutes walk away. Would recommend as a good location for anyone wishing to stay in Douarnenez.

Location excellent. Good standard. Reception staff excellent. Great views from terrace onto the bay. Good spa facilities.

You need to wear speedos you are not allowed shorts in pool. You need sliders to walk around in the leisure spa. You need to hire a robe. So whilst this is allegedly free with your stay, the hotel will sell you sliders starting at €10, Speedos starting at €30 and a robe hire making it an eye watering swim! Don’t forget to take the correct attire! They do advise on shorts in the pool in fairness but a better list of requirements for the leisure facility would be better.

Had mixed bag of cleaning staff. At the beginning of our stay they were great, the last two days, the lady who cleaned our room was quite rude and disagreeable

The location of the hotel is fantastic, the breakfast and the comfort in the room very good.

One has to understand and appreciate Thalasso to fully appreciate the hotel. For the non expert, Thalasso seems to center on an not particularly inviting Spa area that offers a range of applications involving ocean water. It may be good for non-French guests to explain the concept of Thalasso and what it offers.

Amazing location overlooking the baie de Douarnenez, hôtel parking at entrance. Bright and spacious from the moment you enter the reception, very friendly staff. We had a room on 1st floor with view of the bay. Everything you need in room. Self service breakfast with great variety including bacon and scrambled eggs, fruit, cheeses, yoghurt etc. The icing on the cake was 13h checkout as we had free access to swimming pool and access to beautiful beach below. Would return at the first opportunity.

High-class hotel in excellent location - delicious meal in the excellent restaurant. Beautiful sea-view from floor-to-ceiling bedroom window.

The hotel has all the features which belong to an establishment of that calibre but the atmosphere is lacking in warmth.

We spent an amazing weekend in Douarnenez. The hotel was quiet and clean. There are a lot of facilities (sauna, hammam). We had a room with a sea view and with a jacuzzi outside (you can go in it even when it rains because it is sheltered). There is a nice bar just in front of the hotel where you can have a drink. The entire personnel was great, always with smiles on their faces which is really enjoyable!

Everything, the location of the hotel, literally on the beach, sea view from the room, room and facilities, spa, and the superb food. Also the views from the restaurant and bar.

No mini bar in the bedroom

This hotel is exceptional! The facilities available for free were amazing. We were given free access to the spa facilities e.g. pool, jacuzzi, sun loungers etc. And the late check out was an added bonus. The hotel is modern and has lots of options for evening meals.

There was no bar available to get an afternoon drink as it is linked to the restaurant. Also, the restaurant was fully booked, so I would advise booking in when you make your reservation.

The room with sea view definitely worth the difference (€). Good breakfast but only until 10 am. The “package” breakfast + dinner” it is interesting in my opinion, unfortunately I didn’t have that option.

There is not a clear access from/to the beach. It is needed to pass through the spa or/and the restaurant, which it’s close several times.
