Denis was an amazing host! He was so interesting and made our stay so enjoyable. I have to follow a gluten free diet and Denis had his baker make me a fresh gluten free loaf of bread for each day of my stay. It was delicious! The property is beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the bath tub was huge! We stayed in the pearl suite. It had a beautiful view of the ocean and we fell asleep each night listening to the waves. We really did not want to leave.

Incredible experience at Les 4 Vents! This French farmhouse is situated perfectly on the cliffs near Point du Hoc. Our host, Dennis, was lovely -- explained the history of his property during the War, and his love of Normandy. The breakfast was wonderful - fresh bagettes, croissants -- and local jam, butter and jus du Pommes. Absolute perfection. I wish we could've stayed a week at this incredible location... by FAR our favorite spot during our 12 day vacation in France. Thank you Dennis for the excellent recommendations for visiting the D-Day beaches. We can't wait to return with more members of our family.

Unbelievable place. Beatiful in every single aspect. From the fine decoration to the view of the room looking to the beach, staying here was a wonderful surprise, and made me wish I could have stayed longer. The breakfast was superb, the beds super comfortable. The owner is very careful with the details. He suggested the place to eat, showed us our rooms, and made us feel very at ease. The bathroom is incredibly beautiful, something I only see in magazines. Staying here was a highlight in our trip.

The bedroom view of the Chanel beaches and gardens was one of the richest we’ve ever experienced. The property was within walking distance of everything in the village. The coastal bike path offered foot access to the the cliffs to the east with back-door access to La Pointe du Hoc. Host Denis is charming helpful and very entertaining, we enjoyed our après breakfast discussions regarding the local and regional state of affairs thoroughly. Hope to return.

We loved everything about this stay! Denis was a lovely host. The house was gorgeous and very close to town. He did an excellent job of communicating with us in advance to make sure we had a dinner reservation. The rooms were immaculate and quite large. Denis hosted a wonderful breakfast. It was delicious and he was excellent company. We were traveling with a family of five and I could not have been more pleased with the visit!

Beautiful position, right on the beach. A short stroll to the harbour. The accomodation was clean and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. The room we stayed in had french doors opening onto the garden and a fantastic bathroom.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room, although I think this is usual in France.

The room had amazing views over the sea. The garden was well kept and gave access to the beach. It was located outside of the village but close enough to enjoy a lovely walk into the village with a good choice of restaurants. Location allowed for easy access to Normandy. The breakfast was relaxing and fresh, fresh.

Is was so close to the beach

Over room was over the kitchen. When people cooked downstairs the cooking smells filled our room. The stairs to our room were narrow and dangerous. The bath was too high to get in. My husband is over 6ft and he had difficulties. This place could be so much more.

Newly built addition on an historical home right above the English Channel very near the Normandy Historical beaches. Lovely decor, clean facilities and an attentive owner/host. The owner had great suggestions for restaurants, nearby shops off the beaten track, and some amazing ice cream recommendations. The breakfast and fresh bread were superb and we were sad we had to leave so early to make the drive to Lille.

I never write reviews but this time I felt compelled to give you an honest opinion of our stay. Denis was the PERFECT host . He was so welcoming and friendly. He made our stay as stress free and relaxing as possible. We couldn’t have asked for more. The views were beautiful and you could step out of the garden straight onto the beach. Cleanliness was top notch. It was spotlessly clean and the decor was nice ,fresh and well thought about. The rooms were nice and spacious, with patio doors overlooking the beach. The bathroom was also airy with huge bath and big shower. The bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was just right. The fresh local produce was simply wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. We weren’t rushed in anyway, we could take as long as we wanted. Everyday it was something different and new. A lot of thought was put into making it special. On a side not the local restaurants in the harbour ( walking distance ) were all of a high standard and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend trying le Maree. Wonderful. All in all this is without doubt the best place we have stayed in on our annual trips to Normandy. We couldn’t have asked for more. There is no doubt that we will be staying there again. Denis has blown all the competition out of the water. Seriously Denis you deserve a big Pat on the back for all your efforts. It was perfect. Thank you.

The only thing missing and it’s so small that I feel silly even mentioning it is some English breakfast tea bags. There was a large selection of different teabags there but no regular breakfast tea. Very very minor and an easy fix. Us English love our cuppa.
