The building has a rustic vibe to it which made it feel as though you're stepping back in time. We had a nice sized loft, which was great for our family of four. It was relatively easy to find free parking around the property. Gregoire and his father are great hosts, personable and supportive.

Carrying our luggage all the way to the top was a bit of a challenge, the TV doesn't have much (e.g. no way to stream or watch anything other than the standard available French channels) but other than that this was a great launchpad to explore a lot of the surrounding villages from.

The owner met us while parking (lucky enough to find a spot directly in front), and even though we were early, he welcomed us with genuine warmth and put off his other business for later. This hospitability was true for our whole stay, including the breakfast prepared and served by him (fresh pastry, yum). Grégoire went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. The apartment is rustic in style, with original wooden beams across the ceiling but clean and bright, a pleasure to stay in. Nice, renovated bathroom. The BnB is located in a beautiful neighborhood (took a walk in the evening to explore), charming streets all around.

One of the cupboards had a strange smell and since that room didn't have any windows (it was basically the entrance to the apartment), we decided to move that bed to the living room so kids could sleep.

If one could give a 12 out of 10 I would. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The location is perfectly situated and very quiet. My room was terrific, as was the breakfast, which is a traditional French breakfast, with ham, cheese, bread, yogurt, coffee. Quite ample. There are many nice restaurants for dinner within just a few minutes walk. Free parking is available about 200 meters away. For cyclists and hikers, this location is ideal. Many excellent cycling loops from here, and hiking trails are close by too. I highly recommend this place, and I look forward to staying there again, I hope sooner rather than later.

Nothing. For me, it was perfect.

The bedroom is large, the queen size bed is comfortable, there is a small kitchen well equipped with plates, cups, glasses, silverware, small fridge, cooking plate, microwave. Towels in the bathroom, shower gel/shampoo, hair dryer. There is AC in the bedroom. We were on the second floor, there isn’t elevator but it was not hard to reach the bedroom. Gregoire, the host, is friendly and helpful, he answered all our questions about the places we wanted to visit and gave great tips to places to visit. Breakfast served at Mason Carles BnB is excellent, orange juice, yogurt, butter, jam, fresh baguette, croissant and coffee. We will definitely stay there again

No complains, we had a wonderful time there

We made a last minute reservations while travalling across Provence region, we just needed a room for one night to have rest but what we got wa much more - very welcoming host, a unique historical house where every room is very spaciouse and unique, wondersful French breakfast served in the most beautiful yard we could only imagine!

Our windows were on the first floor on the road's side and in the early morning it became a bit noisy but our friends' room looked to the yard and said that they slept like newborns :)

Easy check-in, apartment looked like on photos. Everything was nice and clean. We got some slightly larger apartment as there was some issue with the one we booked. Communication with the host was flawless.

Even though the apartment looked nice, several electric outlets and stovetop which we wanted to use didn't work. Also there was very little equipment in the kitchen, so overall it was nice, but could have been more functional.

Lovely old building with updated comfort. Huge room with view of St-Paul-de-Vence. Quiet. Grégoire is a charming host who speaks several languages. A very good little restaurant is a 45-second walk from the front door. (I timed it. :))

Minor things: Curtains in the larger bedroom let in too much light at night, even with shutters closed. A curtain or frosted glass on the bathroom window would be nice for modesty's sake as people were next door. A/C light is bright and there's no way to turn it off.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable, overlooking a beautiful courtyard. The breakfast, with home made breads, was delicious and generous.

There were limited options to eat locally, as all but one restaurant was closed on a Monday evening. We were surprise at how much of the town was closed. But, where we were able to eat served an enjoyable evening meal with a good selection of menu options.

Gregoire was fantastic- very welcoming and helpful. He took the stress out of trying to take find a place to park and he was even happy to hide an easter egg in the lovely terrace area for my daughter to hunt for on Easter day.

I would have liked a bit more choice of breakfast for those that can't eat milk (dairy) products, like my daughter, but of course that is France for you. Nevertheless, the price for some bread, jams and a bit of ham, which is all she could eat, was steep. For those of use who don't have allergy problems, the breakfast was lovely!

A typical French breakfast, I don't know if the gentleman who prepared it is the owner (it seemed so), but he put the bread and croissants in the oven so they were warm, he made us a good cappuccino. We also had homemade jams, honey, yogurt and orange juice.

That we did not receive a message explaining what we had to do in the situation where we arrived at the accommodation quite late, it was dark, we did not know where to turn on the lights. one of my three children accidentally bumped into a pendulum, two parts of which came off. When leaving, the gentleman called my husband to tell him that he would have liked us to tell him about the situation (he was right), but I was surprised that he reproached him for using the washing machine. (he had counted that I had used it 5 times). Maybe it seems to me, if so, I apologize, so once again we apologize for the pendulum!
