First of all, the overall place was magnificient. Ive never been to skiing resorts so I had no clue they can be that beautiful. The place itself didnt look like hostel, more like high quality hotel. Everything inside is up to modern standarts. Dorm had mini kitchen, 2 toilets, 2 or 3 bathrooms. Bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean, cant say anything bad. Hostess was so friendly, speaks good English and she makes sure that all your needs are met. Huuuge kudos to her, she really deserves a raise.

I liked that the facility was clean and tidy. There was self catering facilities. Free WiFi. Majority of the time most the staff were friendly.

I felt that the beds could have been a bit softer and also I did not like the fact that check out was so early 10am as I had to wait around till 4, the hotel allowed me to sit there however when I asked about having a cup of some hot water I was told no I would have to buy a coffee and couldn’t make my own, I was budgeting and couldn’t afford to buy a coffee so thought this was a bit out of order.

The facilities were great, I was in a shared room, the kitchen had all you needed, and there was a communal dining table and sofa+TV in the room. Also very friendly staff and a very complete breakfast.

The beds were set up like a maze, it did give a lot of privacy but it was quite narrow and not a lot of room to leave your luggage. Some of the floortiles in the shower were coming loose, did not feel hygenic because the old dirty water would get into the cracks.

Staff were amazing, unbelievably helpful! Good food, super clean. Heated boot room and sauna for after a long day of Skiing. Great value for money and met some life long friends here!

It is a little bit of a long walk to the main ski lift.

Breakfast was great plenty of options , good value for money . location to ski Lifts 5 mins away. Lovely clean Hotel. Staff on reception always very helpful Bar Staff also really nice & make some lovely Cocktails

Didn't Like the Fact one of the staff let himself into our room , he made out he was maintenance but he had no tools & looked very surprised & Guilty when he was caught by our friend who was in the other bedroom . i would strongly recommend you use the Hotel Safe when staying & do not leave any valuables or money around . i Challenged the Staff & they told us he shouldn't have been in our room & my wife is convinced he had been through her handbag as the cheque book was out of its place along with some other bits . Luckily we kept all of our valuables & Passports in the safe . We didn't let this spoil our stay . The rest of the staff were amazing just be aware not everyone is always honest & when something goes missing its hard to prove otherwise .

Great location and good breakfast.

The dorm felt very cramped with several people and their huge suitcases lying around. I've also never stayed in a dorm where the kitchen is in the same space as the beds. I was already getting to bed when someone started cooking a meal at 10 pm.

I stayed here for 6 nights and it was great. I also stayed at the people's hostel, which was totally different. I much preferred base camp lodge as it was nearer the 'good' ski lifts and was a nice size to get to know both the staff and the other guests (if you want). The staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well kept. Th sauna was also amazing and hot. The whole place was very good. The people's hostel on the other hand, was quite big and a little to out the way for my liking - it was a 20 minute walk to the town center and main gondolas/chair lifts. There seems to be bigger groups staying at the people's hostel

I would love for the dormitory took to have a kettle. But the bar staff were very kind and provided me with hot water.

Breakfast ticked the box, with bacon and scramble egg available and boiled eggs.

The cost of a pint at 9.50 euro which surprised me, double that of Italy!

The breakfast was great: 4 types of cereal, 4 types of bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, coffee machine that dispensed many coffee options, chocolate, milk. 6 tea flavours, ham, cheese, bacon, scrambled egg, 4 bread spreads, fresh fruit, yogurt, dried fruits (dates, apricots, raisins), Apple and orange juices. The Diable chair lift was nearby. The staff was helpful and courteous. Nicely decorated lounge and waiting area. The place was well and thoughtfully decorated. Adequate ski locker for gear. There was a small SHERPA supermarket nearby. (Go to U Express et Drive for the widest range of groceries) The Transaltitude bus stop (LES 2 Alpes Agence VFD) from Grenoble was about 100m away. The free ski bus stop was also nearby (Stop #4 Bleuets - Zone du soleil for both the blue and red lines)

No blackout curtain for the bunk beds in the dorms. No hooks or hangers to hang clothes in the shower rooms. No drying rack for crockery in the kitchenette. No kettle. Fridge didn't have freezer compartment. The ladder to the upper bunk was awkwardly positioned such that there was inadequate hand hold to reach the upper deck. Need to bring your own lock for the lockers. The skipass machine was out of the order most of the time. I had to clear the choked hair trap in one of the shower room which had caused flooding. There should be regular checks/clearing to prevent flooding

Lovely hotel, real nicely refurbished. Stuff really nice and available Staid only one night to explore other amenities it offers but got instructed by the stuff about some nice events that I would had enjoyed having more time. Overall, real nice structure that offers multiple options also for drinking and eating

Room' size a bit too small. And no easy (free) parking directly out of the hotel
