The host was very friendly. She reached out via messaging on booking.com beforehand. The accommodation is situated in a small, quiet town. We went for a walk at night and we felt safe. There is a jacuzzi in the main bedroom which was very nice. (There is only 1 toilet which is downstairs and you need to walk through the lounge (where the second bed is) to get to the bathroom. It wasn't a problem for us, but just keep that in mind if that would bother you.) The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed.

The breakfast that is included was quite basic. In the message it was said that baguettes were included but we only got biscuit-type things (not sure if that bit got lost in translation). There are some additional options available at a cost (not too expensive). I would recommend doing that.

A lovely warm welcome. Spacious room and nice surrounds. Some very adorable animals in different parts of the property. We appreciated the effort to make us feel very at home. The bathroom was also nice and big. Easy to park directly outside the accomodation. Secure front gate which you need to buzz to enter Home made nut spread amongst the breakfast items.

It would be great to have a little fridge in the room. (One buys artisanal products whilst touring the area) and although I’m sure we could have asked the very friendly hosts to store them in their fridge, it would just be a lot easier.

Wonderful welcoming location with sweet doggo and alpacas. The facilities are second to none and even nicer than advertised. The owners are very friendly and go out of your way to accommodate in every way, even reopening the pool for us after our late arrival!

The bathroom lock was a bit difficult to operate, and could make for an embarrassing situation, but we figured it out in the end.

We bought eggs from the host, the fridge was stocked with items for breakfast. Quiet village, nice view from the breakfast table to the alpacas. Large rooms, lots of equipment, everything was of very good quality. Big plus for the jacuzzi and sauna. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend to everyone!

What a fantastic find! Very friendly hosts, who kept in touch on our journey and were helpful in trying to get a restaurant reservation. The room was huge and had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. We would love to go back. Next time in better weather conditions and use the pool and meet the llamas. Thank you

We loved everything. Our hosts were very welcoming and explained everything in English. (Im embarrassed by my French speaking skills). We stopped on the way to Italy and had such a relaxing break, much better than a motorway hotel.2 adults and 2 children. The kids swam, we had Sauna and Jacuzzi and an excellent night's sleep. The children loved seeing the chickens and animals and Naya visited us in the morning. We relaxed so much that we changed our plans to leave at 6am so that we could lie in in the morning. For a couple this would be also be an jntimate romantic retreat. Thank you Cyriele.

That we only stayed for one night!

Such a wonderfully peaceful location with excellent hosts. Cyrielle and Max, and their three lovely children and gentle dog, made us very welcome during our short stay with them. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable in a lovely countryside setting.

We were looking for a place near the village of Pesmes, and this one was well reviewed so we tried it. At first, we wondered about the location since it seems rather remote and yet, that added to the charm. They essentially have a gated compound for the B&B and apartment. The grounds are lovely and our rooms (because we had both the bedroom and bathroom and an adjoining sitting room) were spacious, well designed and very comfortable. We even liked the adjustable colored LED lighting which was quite fun. But the best part were our hosts, Cyrielle and Max. We opted to have dinner with them (since there aren't many restaurants nearby), and it was one of our favorite meals of our trip to France. Our French is pretty marginal, but Cyrielle was awesome in speaking slowly and carefully choosing words we could understand. We had such an enjoyable dinner with the two of them and learned more in three hours about life in the area than we could have in three weeks staying in hotels and not interacting at this level. They are exceptional hosts and prepared a great dinner and breakfast. We loved our time here and will definitely return if we're in the area.

The villa was secure and peaceful, very beautiful garden and village. Great bakery. The home inside was exactly what we hoped for and we were able to stare at the stars and enjoy some peace and quiet. The animals brought also friendly companionship, a great dog that sat with us and herded the chickens and ducks. The alpacas were beautiful and kept an eye on us. Great host and family.

Very welcoming family environment in a unique house with lovely garden and friendly pets including 2 alpacas! we spent a very pleasant evening having a meal with the family and slept like logs in a comfortable bed enjoying the peaceful setting So refreshing to be met by humans rather than a key box!
