Host was very patient and flexible with our late arrival. The room was very spacious, with ample additional facilities, including some chocolates. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of food and drinks on offer and all in a delightful homely setting. Additionally, the very flexible breakfast times added a very appreciated personal touch.

Off the beaten path location, we liked the region and were happy to find a place to stay for the night. The room turned out to be big with a giant bathroom that had both a shower and a jacuzzi bathtub. Giant towels and a bathrobe made the spa experience even better. We appreciated the water kettle, the teabags and the refrigerator. The table and chairs were perfect for our picnic dinner as it was already late and restaurants - if there were any - would probably not serve food anymore. Breakfast was served downstairs in a separate room, a simple continental breakfast. Virginie was very nice and made us feel welcome.

We stayed at Les Roses de Montherlant for one night only as our last night in France after travelling for 6 weeks and needing to catch the plane home the next day. It was just what was needed - very good accommodation, excellent dinner provided and ample for breakfast before heading off to the airport.

Big old house with lots of quirky details. Our hostess was a lovely lady who did everything to make us feel comfortable. We had both dinner and breakfast there which were ample and very good. The bed is really comfy and we slept very soundly. It's lovely and quiet at night.

Virginie was gracious, we were very happy with our room, spacious and welcoming. We opted to have our supper there, it was beyond our expectations, delicious, warm and served right in our room. it was a wonderful respite from our travels before heading to the airport and home.

A wonderful house in a very quiet location with a beautiful garden. There is parking both on the property and near the house. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Thank you so much, Virginie, for your hospitality and for helping us find things to do on a Sunday evening when everything was closed.

There is no restaurant here. You have the option of dinner, delivered on a tray to your room at 8pm. It is not included in room rate, although, breakfast is.

Be aware that there are no other options for dining except for a golf club nearby which does serve lunch.

Very nice and spacious room. The shower is amazing! Great breakfast as well. Perfect location for day trip to Paris, house of Monet, or Palace of Versailles.

Only suggestion is a to get a bigger sign. We had trouble finding it at first.

Virginie is a lovely and warm host that went out of her way to make me comfortable, even preparing a scrumptious dinner when I arrived late at 20h30. The room was spacious with a separate lounge area and patio - a proper Suite. The bed was the most comfortable I had slept in for a whole month on my travels, with quality linen and a mattress perfect for me. The walk in shower also gets full marks from me. Whilst not listed, they also allowed me to charge my electric car from a wall plug overnight. A real haven of peace and tranquillity.

Very spacious and well appointed room with rather stunning adjoining bathroom. Beautifully furnished in a traditional French manner. Very good breakfast with a selection of food and delicious coffee. Virginie was a very good, attentive host
