The property is very unique in a good way . The bones are very old and unique and authentic. It fits the neighbourhood it is in perfectly. Location is very central to the important sites for a first visit to the wonderful city of Nancy . Quiet area and great bed . Room is large and very quiet and the bed is comfortable. . The shower pressure and temp is great. Nice that has a bar fridge. Did not have the breakfast that was extra. The staff were helpful.

The decor is a big dated and worn. The bad tub is a soaker tub. A bit tricky getting in and out of for a shower because so deep . Grab bars would be good. The stairs are tough to get up with heavy suitcases. The door lock is a bit tricky to use.

Wonderful staff and property beautiful

Sadly the intercom operator who worked for the council operating the bollards - only entry onto the road outside hotel, was unpleasant and very rude. It was unfortunate as I was completely thrown when he answered the intercom so abruptly. I thought i’d pressed the wrong button; I was very tired and forgot the hotel name and how to say it all in French, so he was furious. He said what do you want in the end then eventually opened the barrier! He promptly waited for us to go into hotel , came out of his office wherever that was, my husband was outside at this point again and the man said we were stupid English then gave us a ticket.

The hotel is located in the Old town and is at walking distance of within 10 mins to all attractions. There are several restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and excellent breakfast exceeded our expectations.

It was a little challenge to reach the location with the Car and parking is a bit tricky as the hotel is in Old town, which has traffic restrictions however this is only a very little inconvenience and staff provided very detailed directions

The perfect small hotel: in a fabulous historic house in the old centre of Nancy. Comfortable, spacious room, excellent breakfast, the most helpful and friendly staff. All the joys of Nancys art and architecture within easy reach. We stay in quite a few hotels: this one couldn’t be bettered.

Absolutely nothing. Even the original stone spiral staircase was easier than we had expected.

This historic property, parts of which date back to the early 16th century, features less than 10 rooms in total. It offers comfortable stays in the historic kernel of Nancy within a 10-15 min walk to main sites such as the Place Stanislas. The breakfast is excellent, although at the moment it is all provided by a single person. ... There is also the need to reserve one of the two available parking spots well ahead of time, as otherwise this means going to the public parking, which happens to be close by and cheaper.

All was good, actually. Would definitely return.

For the first time, the photographs on Booking.com do not do this property justice, it is far more beautiful than depicted. We were so well looked after by Jade and Aimee, their attention to detail is second to none, they were both extremely helpful and we felt so “at home” we extended our stay by another night! The location could not be better, easy to find and walking distance to all of the sights, shops and restaurants Nancy has to offer. The hotel parking is both convenient and secure.

It was all excellent.

A fabulous little hotel in the heart of Nancy old town, just a few minutes’ stroll from Place Stanislas, hundreds of restaurants and beautiful shops. Our room and tall windows and a pretty little en-suite bathroom and WC. Breakfast was excellent. We loved Nancy.

Parking is offered, but at weekends the street is closed to vehicles, so it’s difficult even to drop off luggage. Staff are very helpful though.

Beautiful building in an historic and beautiful part of town. Very friendly greeting. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent - individually prepared and delicious.

No wifi in our room! This is not acceptable. Our room was kind of in the attic, but it shouldn't have prevented us from getting wifi. I had to do an important video call in the reception area - far from ideal.

Two years ago we walked past this beautiful building and thought that it would be a magnificent place to stay. This year on our way to the Provence we decided to make that dream real. The hotel did not disappoint. Very welcoming staff and excellent service. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast served at our table with enough options to choose from. Would stay here again.

A charming and historic hotel in the middle of the old centre. The staff were obviously proud of the buildings history and link to the Ducal Palace. Stanislas square, the gardens are in close proximity. The breakfast room, sitting room and bedroom were charming and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful in relation to parking, troubleshooting and areas of interest.
