Fantastic stay at Locarno! The room was smaller than expected, but the view from the room out to the street was very nice. The AC was good and the temperature in the room was comfortable, and the room was cleaned very well. Very quiet hotel as well, and we slept amazing. Staff was incredibly kind and friendly; they were always happy to help and answer questions. There's also beach towels you can rent for free from reception, which was great! Our flight was in the evening, so we had all day in Nice even though we had to check out of our room at 11, but there's a shower room with towels and a toilet in the reception area that you can use even after you check out, which was really good (and we also got an extra towel each to shower with when we requested it), so we could go to the beach again during the day! The location is good, as it's right by the beach, and a bit away from the really touristy areas, so it's more relaxed and not so crowded outside. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel and what it offered, and I would definitely stay here again!

My only complaint is that the Wifi was a bit slow in our room, and it disconnected quite frequently, so it was hard to use the internet at times. Also, we didn't really like the 2-in-1 shower gel & shampoo in the bathroom, and it would be nicer to have separate ones and maybe a conditioner too (since swimming in the ocean means salty and frizzy hair). My tip would be to bring your own products if you're picky with toiletries.

Friendly and polite receptionists. Great location, close to the beach. Clean room and sheets. Powerfull AC. Good wifi. Terrace on first floor. Lots of options and good food at breakfast. Towels and beach umbrellas. You can take a shower on the ground floor.

Shampoo, soap etc in one bottle. ( I expected more/better quality for the price) Small balcony. Terrible sound isolation. Low shower pressure on upper floors. Small elavator. The rooms could use a design upgrade.

Excellent location - 5 minutes from Promenade des Anglais and about 20-25 minutes stroll along the promenade to the Old Nice area. Our room - a triple - was a good size with a proper 3rd bed, not a sofa-bed and all were very comfortable. Bathroom had both a bath/shower and separate shower room. Breakfast was good with a range of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, croissants, pain au chocolat, breads, cold meats, and some hot food (boiled egg, scrambled egg, sausage and a spinach-based sauce thing!). There is a small terrace on the first floor with tables and chairs, but there isn't really a view as it just overlooks the road next to the hotel. But it does allow you to sit outside if you don't have a balcony, like us.

Our room - 100 - was on the ground floor right beside the breakfast room and kitchen area (we had to walk through the breakfast room to get to it) and even though it was insulated, it was quite noisy in the morning from 6.30 when the kitchen staff arrived. Also being ground level meant it was noisy as we were beside the road. My wife and son weren't bothered, but I'm quite a light sleeper, so I had to wear earplugs all week, which is not ideal.

Location and staff were exceptional.

Facilities are a bit old and worn-out. The shower cabin was too small and uncomfortable even in a Superior Double Room. The wooden cover of the window fell down on the balcony during our stay.

Great hotel with an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from the sea. We arrived on 8th January, the delightful Christmas decoration were still up, making our stay more charming. Staff was really helpful, fluent in English. Breakfast is perfect, offering a wide variety of dishes. We particularly enjoyed the coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The in-room coffee machine with free coffee capsules was a pleasant experience. Chek-in and check-out is quick. Room and bathroom were clean, towels replaced daily. Tram line 2 for airport access is only a few minutes walk, the city center is cca. 30-40 minutes walk. Considering the fair pricing and super location, this hotel is value for money. We would pick this place again coming to Nice. Highly recommended!

As other guests have noted, the complimentary coffee capsules were only provided on the first day, which we found a bit puzzling. However, this wasn't an issue - when I requested more at the Reception, the guy kindly gave four additional ones (including milk cream) without hesitation. Aside from this minor detail, there were absolutely no negatives.

Aircon worked great!! Room was perfectly cool and stayed cool the entirety of our stay. Location was perfect for the beach, but a little far from the station, depends how often you would like to get the train. Perfectly situated for use of the tram and bus system. The beach bag and fan provided was a lovely touch. Staff were really lovely and the citrus infused water in the lobby made us excited to come back to the hotel no matter the time of day. Would recommend and would stay again.

Room was a tad small and the bath/shower did not drain well, with some cleaning/maintenance this could be fixed up no problem. We asked for one bed and it was 2 singles pushed together, but this was to be expected considering the size of the room. What was also a little strange was they used 2 single bed duvets inside a king cover sheet so they moved around a lot

Great location, close to both the seaside and a tram stop with direct link to the airport and the city centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the hotel has a pleasant overall ambience. The facilities and the breakfast buffet meet very well what you would expect for a hotel in this category. And the kids' corner was definitely a good idea, our 5-year old daughter had a great time there while letting her parents talk to each other for a while with a cup of coffee :) The whole family enjoyed our stay in the hotel and we can honestly recommend it to anyone. We are looking forward to coming back next time!

Nothing that we would complain about.

The hotel is located quite close to the city centre and within walking distance from the main train station. The room was of a good size for two travellers and the bed was comfortable and impeccably clean. Furthermore, our rate included breakfast which, whilst not extensive, was of a good quality, fresh and quite varied.

The only comment I'd like to leave is the size of the shower cubicle. Well, it's very small even for an adult person of an average size. The actual size of the bathroom is quite good, so it is hard to understand why the shower cubicle is so ridiculously small.

Hotel location was very near to the beach and about 20 min walk to the city center and the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was tastefully decorated for christmas and refreshment was available upon guest arrival.

Room furniture (the wardrobe in our room) was a bit old and can be improved. The cleanness of room (floor) and bathroom can also be improved. Breakfast was good , but usually same option for the week we stayed at this hotel. (No variation). The internet connection was a bit annoying because you should enter some data everyday on each device.
