The noise by the metro all thru the day except midnight to 5am

The rooms were refurbished in a cute, chic sorta way. Very tiny but well set out especially bathroom. Nice balcony and street view. Great location. Walk down Rue Bonaparte to The Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee Orangerie, Musee, Orsay and of course The Seine. Trendy left bank location in St Germaine. Staff very helpful. Always helped us get a taxi and gave information.

Small rooms but heh it is Paris and they are small buildings. Don’t see the need for a bath in a small bathroom, just a shower would be better. Bath/showers are hard for older people to get into. Foyer is being refurbished along with name change and I am sure it will be super cute and trendy like the rooms.

All was fine. Friendly staff. Great location.

The metro crosses just under the building and you feel it in the hotel. Hence, if you are sensetive with noise you rather think twice.

Small, clean, cozy room. The location is great, ıts in the heart of the city center. The reception desk guys so friendly, they corresponded immediately to everything I asked. I definetly stay there next time in Paris. Around the hotel so many shops, cafes... From Hermes to Monoprix, Ugg, Repetto whatever you want.. 10 minutes walk from the hotel, there is Jean Poul-Hevin shop that makes the best macaron ıve ever had in my life.

No mini fridge. If you make gourme food shopping like me it could be problem. Weather was cold so ı put them in the little balcony😃

As I got a very good price (for Parisian standards) on this, the room (and hotel in general) actually exceeded my expectations. It was supposed to be the smallest room they have and I was ready to be in a cramped space, but I still had plenty of space to move around, it was very clean (and was also cleaned daily) and seemed recently renovated. There was even a greeting card in the room with my name and a carafe with drinking water, which was a nice touch. Wifi was strong, although it was the last floor, and there was a lovely view to the street with plenty of natural light. The girl at the reception was really kind and helpful and they even have some coffee/pastries for guests on the first floor free of charge. The location is perfect - allows you to walk to the most of touristy places, seems really safe, metro is also nearby and in general this is the neighborhood I prefer the most when staying in Paris. It was also possible to leave bags in the waiting room before check in. I think this is an ideal place for staying a couple of nights if you want to explore the city. There might be some tiny things that could get annoying if you stay there for longer (for example there were a good set of hangers, but the construction of it does not easily allow to hang longer coats, maybe a bit more storage space next to the sink for toiletries would be nice etc.), but for a short stay it was excellent!

It was not an issue for me since I am not a light sleeper, but as others have written - the sound isolation is not very good (but I find that to be the case in most Parisian hotels in older buildings) and you can hear sounds from other rooms and the metro. So for those who are very sensitive to sound this might be something to take into account before booking.

Great central location, close to several Metro stations. Many great restaurants and cafes nearby. It's a fine location in the 6th, and everything is walkable from there. The 2-person small elevator makes getting your bags up to your room easy. The hotel is newly renovated, so a few problems will surely be corrected shortly.

All hotels in Paris are expensive, especially with the upcoming Olympics 2024, however, this one is a bit too dear. Newly renovated. There is a regular rumbling noise that goes on all night (I imagine it to be an underground metro line directly under the hotel). Certain items are missing: Needs a luggage rack (without one your wheelie is on the floor). Needs a towel hook in the bathroom. Needs a small throw-rug near the bed (the floor is a clean but sterile wood-patterned linoleum that collects street dirt from your shoes, so you can inadvertently track it into bed with you).

This was our second Christmas spent in this hotel and it was fab! The location is 10/10 in beautiful San Germain, we had lovely quiet walks along Rue de Grenelle to the Rodin Museum and Les Invalides. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable (small but adequate). On the 5th floor the noise of the Metro was fine, It just sounded like passing traffic. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Price for 6 nights (booked and paid 5 months in advance) was really very good. Loads of charming shops, bars and restaurants in the area, with nearby Metro stop.

No kettle in room for hot drinks.

It was very nice, modern, clean and in a great location. And very friendly and helpful staff.

When I got back to my room after going out for the evening, I couldn’t figure out the air conditioning system, even though I was pushing the correct buttons so I went to sleep and I wasn’t as comfortable as I could’ve been. I know I could’ve asked the front desk, But for some dumb reason, I didn’t. In the morning when I called the front desk, I needed someone to help me figure out the soap dispenser so Manon and came up to show me and also show me that I needed to push an external button to get the air conditioning to work. So you might add that on the instructions. Also, in the morning, I noticed a noise that was recurring, which luckily didn’t happen during the night. As I figured, Manon and said it was the metro that runs on their morning route.

this hotel was in a good location ~walk everywhere~nice lively safe neighborhood!! at night it quieted down. Many shops, cafes,restaurants in walking distance. Staff very friendly and all spoke english. great WIFI ~ 3 english NEWS channels. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We also had a small terrace that was nice!

This was the most expensive room we stayed in during our time in France. Given the cost ~ it included no free breakfast or coffee, room was very small(the smallest one we stayed in) and a good suggestion would be to add a handle bar in the tub area, Very precarious exiting the tub!! It is a flat rate of E65 for the hotel to call a Taxi to go to the airport (CDG) we went to the corner and got a TAXI to the airport for E55.(making others aware of the option)

Great location in the 6th arrondissement, easy walking to the 5th, restaurants, churches, Le Bon Marche. Close to several metro stations and very easy to get a taxi. It's under some renovation so did not have breakfast service but there was a nearby boulangerie. Also getting a new name - Folie des Saint Germain, I think. Staff spoke English.

My room was on the 6th floor, but the elevator only went to the 5th floor.
