Hotel very accessible to metro station which takes you to central Paris in 15/20 minutes. Authentic french area with bars and restaurants. Clean hotel with friendly available staff ready to accommodate requests.

Excellent location. Staff is very friendly. Theres plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Saturday fresh food market is the best. The metro that takes you every tourist attraction is so less than a minute from doorstep. Easy to use. Great space and storage. My daughter happy she had her own room. Deffinately recommend.

One wee thing is traffic noise. Thats simply easy to put up with as the location is terrific being right in the middle of the busy location.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean. The location is fantastic, close to transport and some very nice places to eat. The hotel is a traditional Parisian place. creaky old lift, narrow and steep stairs, and a small room. Loved it and felt at home.

The room could do with a bit of a refresh.

The Hotel is located a in a cute neighbourhood with many restaurants and bars in walking distance. It is a bit away from the main attractions but they are still easily accessible by the metro that is just around the corner from the hotel, and the upside is that the restaurants/bars in the area felt authentic and not like tourist traps. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Whenever we left the hotel we could leave the key at the reception, so we didn't need to worry about losing it, and we had no problem getting the key even when we came home during the night. We were a bit worried about bed bugs before coming here since we had heard horror stories on the news, but hotel Gambetta was perfectly clean and tidy. Can definitely recommend this place for a stay in Paris!

Great hotel. Clean and comfortable room with a large bathroom. The room was always cleaned and tidied up. Good location. Two steps from the metro station. Many convenient buses nearby that go to tourist places. Special thanks to the staff. The gentlemen at the reception are incredibly kind and always ready to help. Thank you! We will definitely stay again.

Position is perfect. Few meters to M3, I think it is the most strategic metro. The hotel has old style, steep stairs, small room and big bathroom. Nice windows on the main street, ok!

Cleaning and maintenance must be completely reviewed. Relevant dust in the corners, not removed during the three nights. Some hair on the floor and in the bed. The bathroom towels were somehow smelly. Hygiene not ok at all. Notwithstanding this, the hotel has a safe and strategic position. We are happy not to have included the breakfast in the reservation.

I stayed at Hôtel Gambetta for a few days and loved it so much I had to book again for my next trip to Paris: twice in one month! - the staff at Hôtel Gambetta are lovely and very helpful, showing me how to get from the hotel to main attractions - the rooms are clean and tidy - the Hôtel Gambetta has a charming character and old world beauty - located very close to the Metro and bus to Eiffel Tower - location in Gambetta is a beautiful suburb of Paris with a variety of cafes and restaurants - reception is 24/7 so that you can come and go as you please - breakfast is delicious, with baguettes and croissants provided by a local bakery - rooms are cleaned every day with new towels and soap

No air conditioning yet - my stay was in the middle of Summer, so it was very hot at night. However, the windows open let in a nice breeze.

The chap on reception was absolutely lovely and so helpful. He helped us so much with parking and last minute changes to breakfast arrangements. I also noticed He spent the time to give good advice to guests about places to go and what to see in Paris. The bathroom was really clean and had a lovely shower.

Everything was great.

Wonderful little hotel, family run with friendly staff. Near metro, cafes, bistros, bakeries and markets. We enjoyed the one to one connection with the staff and if we returned I know they would remember us.

I can’t say anything bad. The charm of the city and the smiling faces of the staff that met us each morning was wonderful.

Location was great, near restaurants so didnt have to go into the main city at night. Staff were lovely and extremely helpful.

Room was a bit small for 3 of us, but adequate as we were only there to sleep, we were out all the time. Room was quite noisy due to the area, we were facing the street.
