The charming concierge made me feel this was home and was helpful in every respect. The young woman who cleaned was dedicated and professional even helping to adjust the complicated temperature control and checking back to ensure it worked.

For me the location could have been better as my focus was on art galleries and opera usually accessed by Metro line 1. The Cardinal Lemoine Station ( the closest) although a few stops from La Bastille had an arduous outside to the sidewalk and back into station detour at Line 10 which was also badly lit at night. Construction was the reason so hopefully this will soon change.

The breakfast is very, very good with choice of self-making fresh pressed juice, very lovely fruits, yogurt, French croissant, French bread, ham slices, honey, milk, and cereals and butter and cheese, different kinds of coffee, Stillwater, sparkling water, crumbled eggs, etc. etc. It’s just amazing 🤩 The location is fantastic and very close to natural history, museum, and several big universities and the places of interests. There are a lot of shops and supermarkets around and it’s easy to get everything you need. The room is spacious and the bathroom is very clean and the stuff cleaned my room every day. They are just so nice. The building is classic style French architecture and I also have my own little balcony in my room. It’s just so lovely and wonderful. The staff are very hard-working and friendly and easy-going. I really love the experience. comparing to the hotel I currently live in now in Munich, it’s just a paradise!

The lift is a bit slow.

Perfect location. The staff was so patient and kind. It's an older hotel and you can tell however the location was great and I mean great. I was there for the new year from the 28th of December to January the 2nd. The hotel staff arranged a taxi for me and even the taxi driver was great. It's around many restaurants little grocery stores and kind of tucked off so you're not on the busy busy street.

Older hotel but for the price what can I say? It was clean. There was blood pressure medication left in my room one day which was a bit frightening. I stayed in the handicap room which had large windows out to the patio. Those windows were not secure enough and people could go out there and smoke. That's the thing that made me pretty uncomfortable was that you could easily climb through the window if you wanted.

The Hôtel Vendome Saint-Germain is in a wonderful location walking distance to the Pantheon and the Luxembourg Gardens. The surrounding neighborhood is also very pleasant to walk in and has plenty of nice bars and restaurants to choose from. It is also easy to take the Metro to other areas should you wish. The location is far from being the only benefit - we found the hotel very comfortable and the perfect base for our stay with a breakfast including everything you could want! We felt very welcomed by the hotel staff who were all friendly and helpful (including allowing us to store our luggage for a a few hours before we could check in). Would recommend for a short or even a long stay and would certainly come back if I am in Paris again!

The vintage style of the room was cool: a trendy art-deco furniture, an old & renovated radio/transistor, industrial lighting fixtures, etc… During my stay, the property adopted a couple of beautiful cats that roam around the hotel and that you can pet while drinking your coffee in the small vintage lobby. The staff is very kind and always ready to assist and improve your stay. I was upgraded to a higher room less affected by the train’s rumbling. The Hotel is close to two metro stations that connect you to all areas in Paris. Breakfast room is small but buffet is generous and caters to all tastes.

Nothing. The hotel is a quite nice property as long as you are aware that, even if close to two metro stations, the location is slightly off-centered.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff are marvelous. We arrived at the hotel before check-in with the hope of leaving our carry-on bags at the desk so we could go have lunch without toting them along. The very kind manager gave us a room that was ready and we were allowed to check in early. In addition, the hotel offers a lovely breakfast spread (that may cost extra, but our booking included it). Finally, the resident cats are a bonus! It was always a joy to see them.

We tried to adjust the temperature in the room, but it always seemed hotter than we like it. Still, it was a terrific hotel and we hope to return before long.

I recently stayed at Hotel Vendome Saint Germain, and my experience was absolutely delightful! While my stay at Hotel Vendome Saint Germain was overall pleasant, I was quite disappointed with the breakfast offered by the hotel. For a hotel in this price range and location, I expected much more variety and quality. The breakfast selection was extremely limited, with only a few pastries, some fruit, and basic beverages.

From the moment we made our online booking until the last day of our stay when we departed for the station, everything was handled with exceptional hospitality. The staff at Hotel Vendome were incredibly courteous and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience. Their attentiveness and warm demeanor made us feel truly welcomed. Special mention to Thomas! The rooms were immaculate, offering a neat and cozy environment that felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms was impressive. We appreciated the thoughtful touches at every corner that made the whole aura quite pleasant. Even the location of the hotel is simply amazing. It is perfectly situated, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful city of Paris. The convenience of being close to key attractions and public transportation made our travel plans effortless, and also the cafes scattered all around has never disappointed us with multiple food & drink options. As frequent travelers, we've stayed in a wide range of accommodations, from charming little B&Bs to luxurious 5-star hotels around the world. Hotel Vendome stood out as uniquely beautiful and special in its own way & will definitely come back when we visit Paris again!
