From your room you can see the picturesque view of Mont Saint-Michel. The maisonette-type junior suite was spacious enough for three adults.

I asked if advance reservation for dinner at the hotel is necessary and was told no. In fact, the restaurant was fully booked on the day of arrival and we had to go to Mont Saint-Michel for dinner. Better to book in advance if you want to have dinner at the hotel.

Close to the Saint Michel Mountain. The heating is very strong. The shower water is very warm.

The bed is super narrow. I could easily fall off the bed if I simply turn my body... The TV position is very dangerous, it's hanging in the middle of the room and very low, I kept hitting my head on the TV corner, which was very painful...

The location is fantastic with great views of Mt St Michel from the dining room where the staff were excellent. Also thanks to the reception staff who helped us out and retrieved our lost property.

Hotel is located in a car restricted zone and required the hotel to provide access code for boom gate at the entrance to the village. The hotel did not inform us about this at the time of booking. When we arrived on site, phone instructions by the hotel were confused and much valuable time was wasted. Moreover, the hotel did not advise that we needed to keep the original access slip and pay a parking fee on exiting the restricted zone. While reception staff were nice, they did not appear to be well organized.

I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel near Mont Saint-Michel where I could enjoy a breathtaking view of the sunrise over this iconic landmark. It was truly a magical experience to wake up to such stunning scenery. The room was spacious and fairly clean, offering all the comfort I needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the option to enjoy my meals in the privacy of my room. The food was delightful, and being able to dine while taking in the view made it all the more enjoyable. Overall, it was a very comfortable and memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Mont Saint-Michel in a peaceful and convenient setting.

Le Relais Saint-Michel is the last hotel along the strip called La Caserne, accessed by vehicle through a barrier system. It is the hotel closest to Le Mont-Saint-Michel itself and we stayed three nights. The walk along the causeway is great but there is also a shuttle bus stop outside the hotel. The view of Le Mont is superb. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean; bathroom facilities eminently roomy. Car park is outside.

If I were to offer a minor complaint, it was that one night one of us had some rather tough veal. On a general note, the area of La Caserne itself is slightly strange. It consists of a number of modern hotels, along with eateries that don’t get great reviews on-line. If you’re driving, you need a code to get through the barrier, and this was provided in advance by the hotel. We witnessed some vehicles having problems and the system needs an upgrade. This isn’t the hotel’s issue, though.

The view is exactly as advertised for the room with landmark view. I am so happy that I spent the extra amount on getting a room with the landmark view. The room is very very spacious where both my wife and I were able to organize and pack our suitcases at the same time and still have plenty of space to walk around.

I wouldn't say there was anything in particular I disliked. To clarify for anyone who is expecting to see Mont St. Michel lit up at night, they only do the light show during the summer and this ends by Aug 31. So in the evening, you can only see a few faint lights coming from the Abbey. However, in dusk and dawn when there is some sunlight and especially during the day, it is a magnificent view straight from your suite window. If it is a rainy day then the fog can completely cover up the Abbey.

The view from our room was excellent. We had a good size balcony with unobstructed view of Mont Saint Michel. The shuttle to MSM was convenient and ran every 15 minutes. The hotel restaurant is excellent as well and we ended up having dinner there 2 nights during our 2 night stay.

I wish the room was a bit bigger since we were not able to use the balcony due to rainy weather. It was a little crowded with our two large dogs in the room. The room and bathroom were a little outdated. But the hotel is undergoing renovations right now.
