Great location right on the river and a very short walk to the old city centre. With exhibitions and galleries all within a short walking distance. Room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable.

There was honestly nothing about this hotel I didn't like. It was affordable and had a great location. For the price, the room was big - I've stayed in tiny hotel rooms in France for similar or more money. But it's not fancy - it's basic, but worth the money in my opinion.

Firstly, the hotel is convenient for the railway station, and it is more or less on the bank of the Rhone, just a short walk from the centre and the attractions. The staff were pleased to speak French to us at a pace we could understand. The room was small but big enough for us. The breakfast room was light and the breakfast itself was good.

What is there not to like? I suppose you can't see the river because of flood defences, but what should you expect?

Handy for the station and the town centre. Clean and comfortable, large breakfast buffet (I'd have liked fresh fruit to be included, but otherwise plenty of choice, and delicious fresh bread and croissants etc). Above all the owners were very helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Hardly anything (see above re breakfast!). The hotel has soft water which takes a bit of getting used to. Otherwise nothing.

Everything, from the welcome to checkout and even after that, this hotel and its operators are exceptional. My room was huge and had a view straight over the river. The bathroom alone was bigger than some hotel rooms I've had recently. I book places based on price and proximity to the train station. Hotel Regence delivered above all expectations. Thank you!

Everything was great.

It was difficult to find and then to get into. Once there, it was conveniently located to places to eat and for a stroll through old town. The staff was very helpful, helping to carry bags as one of our party had had recent shoulder surgery and couldn’t lift.

A little better instructions as to how to actually get to the hotel would be nice.

A wonderful place to stay. A crisis happened to my mother and I meant we needed help. This trip was saved by the amazing staff at Le Regence. It was a great place to land after long days. I can't wait to come back and stay under less stressful circumstances.

This is a lovely hotel! HOWEVER! There's no elevator! But that's not normally a problem.

This was a small hotel on the banks of the Seinne. The location was ideal for exploring Arles. Our room overlooked the river Seinne. Arles is a delightful little town and when we visited there was a convention for photographers. The climate was ideal because we were basked in the gentle breeze from the mistral, a relief after the extreme heat of summer 2022. Arles had plenty to see and do. We also had delicious meals as you might expect in a French town.

Everything worked well. The hotel was quite basic but perfectly adequate for our needs. The breakfast was fine but not as imaginative as it might be. The place was definitiely just for sleeping and breakfast so not as friendly as some places.

Super friendly front desk staff. Great location walkable to all the major sights of the city. Also pretty close to the train station, which happens to be a good spot to park a car for free overnight--I did so with no issues. But it's on the edge of town so isn't chaotic or overly busy. My room was comfortable, with a small desk and a sitting area, so plenty of room for me. I found the mattress and pillows comfy. Having AC is great and I also loved the metal blinds that helped me sleep in! The breakfast spread for 9 euros was standard but reasonable--boiled eggs, some meats and cheeses, pastries, cereals, juice, coffee machine, etc. With a few extra touches could be a 3-star property.

My shower went cold pretty quickly. I adjusted it and it got hot again, but then cold again. It might've been me. I didn't worry much about it because I only stayed 1 night and only needed a quick shower. There was some transfer of noise from the bar down the block but it was drowned out by the AC and ear plugs.

We liked the following. 1) The location was ideal for exploring Arles and jumping on the train for sidetrips (e.g., Nimes, Avignon, etc.). In addition, the hotel is across from the Rhone River. We enjoyed using the river wall for walking, picnics, mingling with the locals, and watching the sunsets. 2) The owners were very curtious and helpful in all matters. They provided assistance in directions, sites info, and more. We enjoyed chatting with them each morning. 3) Our room was very nice and clean. It had a larger bathroom (upgrade) and large windows overseeing the Rhone River. When the windows were closed we didn't hear any real noise.

Nothing. We would return for sure! Tre bon.

Delightful staff who were very helpful. They stored our bicycle case for a week in advance of our arrival. The bicycle storage is in a locked garage right next to the hotel and worked very well.

An old and charming hotel in the Old Town area, it lacks an elevator. This was not a problem for us but for anyone who has trouble with stairs it might be a handicap.
